Hi Vladimir here... aka Patrick... I'm from Holland and have reading upon this forum for quite a while and at this moment I really want to contribute to the VC world. I have been assembling, painting and making scenery and minitatures for quite a while now (about 12 year or so on and off).

I have started my own webshop (www.sceneryworkshop.nl) since two weeks in Holland and want to dedicate it totally to vampires, undead and zombies (even related races from outside the GW collections). My primary focus will be on supplying products for making the scenery and some nice bases, but I'll also want to cover a diverse assortment of miniatures and bitz. So if you have any advice everything is welcome! Ok enough marketing for now :)

I just wanted to say HI and hopefully have a lot of fun in here!

Hi everybody. I have been reading alot of the threads in this forum recently and thought it was time i made myself known.

I have been playing and collecting the various GW games for nigh on 15 years now (With some major breaks) and started again earlier this year. VC will be my first fantasy project since playing mordheim (dwarves and Vampires) aeons ago and im hoping to leech as much knowledge as can out of this site in order to make my ,probably, Bretonnian themed army almost but not quite unstopable.

Im currently residing in the other Australia (Austria) and am trying to balance my time between my Wife and Daughter, my job and of course my hobby. Not such an easy feat.
But ive got regular games once a month and im sure ill get to grips with 8th ed. soon. Thats about it, have a good one, MF, over and out.

Hey guys,

Just picked up a used VC army off a young fella' in anticipation of a new book release, for Christmas, and because my other two armies I've been playing for some time and would like a change of tactic.

I think my main attractions to running a VC would be raising the dead, the versatility of the vampire characters(loremaster mostly), and unbreakable.

The reason's I searched out this site? well, I can see this being a real "thinking man's" army, and maybe some help couldn't hurt? After going through the book for a little while now I have put together a small 1500 pointer to get acquainted with them. No rares... is that a bad thing? o.o

Also, I was wondering where the best place to ask questions on strategy or theory? I am considering using "The lore of heavens"("Vampires from space" a cheesey B movie? lol), The "lore of death"(attack LD) or the "lore of metal"(try to make his artillery stupid). Playing O&G and kinda worried about his shooting phase, figured the "comet" or the 6 spell for metal(name escapes me) would be nice. Most likely up against a hoard of savage orcs, chaff, and some heavy shooting/artillery. I'd like to stay offensive with my spells, rather than defensive.

I'd love to post my list in the appropriate location and get some feedback!

Cheers!

Hey, I'm Doomdark.

I'm not much of a WFB player but I have a couple of friends and my brother who play and I'm looking to pick it up. I'm trying to decide between two flavourful army styles: Carnivale Melancholy or a more traditional Wight-based skeletal army to play with (and taking advantage of the new upgrades that Cairn Wraiths and Tomb Banshees got in WD recently).

Generally looking for tactica and painting advice.

Good to meet you all!

good evening, my name is porash.

At the moment i've stopped collecting armies (but my brian makes a riot, paint it build it collect it :o it doesn't stop yelling) (oke to much monster ripper for today), and started to read warhammer novels.
The most beautifful books were (in my eyes) the nagash triology written by Mike Lee.

So it isn't strange that now :p i want to begin collexting again and ofcourse an undead army worthy of nagash ^^.
especially an strigoi army, thats why i came here ^^ to find tips about moddeling and painting because frankly i suck at it ^^, luckly gouls don't have to win beauty pagants

apologies for my bad english

I am quite new to vampire counts. I play a verity of armies and am looking into starting a vampire army. I have run a couple games and love the ability to summon new units. Other armies I play include Tomb Kings, Warriors of chaos, Necrons, and tau. I have dabbled in just about every type of army at this point through proxy though.

Greetings all.

I've been collecting fantasy and 40k for 9 years now, and as I am planning to expand into VC registering on this forum seemed like a fine idea.

I already own about 3k of High Elves and 2k of Bretonnians, as well as a rapidly expanding codex marine army.

Hi everyone, i've been collecting vampire counts (Blood Dragons) since about 2000/1. Been visiting this site quite a bit so thought i'd register.

Hello everyone here, I am a veteran of the warhammer series, but a little new to any edition beyond 6th, as I had stopped playing for quite some time now, and am getting back into it.

My current army comp is going to be for 750 point games, and any information gathered here will be to help me achieve this goal and others along the way.

Alright, my turn. I have been playing my VC army since I started warhammer about a year ago and I have been visiting the forum for a while and thought I should sign up

Hey everyone Im Mik from Mexico and i pretty much dont know how to post or do something in this forum.
I`ve been collecting WH since 8 years to this day (paiting more often).
Not much of a good player.
Im looking for some help against WoC im really having a hard time with those guys.

Hello, I've been playing vampire counts for two years now (along with modeling and painting) and i devote as much time that i can to it with a full time job and a wife and three kids, who are very supportive. My favorate clans are the blood dragons and lamia, but really I like all the vampire clans, and have good armies of them all. My problem is the Empire, my little brother plays them mostly, he has high elves, wood elves, dwarves, and orcs and goblins but he usally brings the empire and kicks my ass every time! Damn Sigmar's Empire! Any advice by my fellow creatures of the night would be appreciated. Thanx,

hello everyone

i have not yet got a vampire counts army yet but i hope to be the proud owner of one soon.
i use dwarves mostly in fantasy and chaos in 40k so i hope i have the slightest idea what you are talk ing about.o.o

read you around

Hello everybody. My name is Luke Miller and I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am mostly a painter and converter of the Undead. I hope to get into playing Warhammer soon though, when I have enough basic troops painted up.

I have also painted and converted loads of Tyranids (Hive Fleet Scorpio) and I have some Worldeater Chaos Marines too. My favourite colour is purple but I won't be using much of that on my Undead because I've used loads of it on my Tyranids. I see my Undead as more pale tones and greys. I am into natural history, sharks, snakes and bugs mostly.

My favourite of the Vampires are the Strigoi.:suck: I also love Zombies. I am here to contribute what I can and learn from others.

:ghost:I am happy to be here on your spooky forum.:scared:

Hello I am Aedin. I have played VC now since 1995 in NW Ohio. I have seen many things change over the years and I am looking forward to this most recent change. I am also looking forward at instrumenting the new list right up my friends Dark Elf backside . Nice to meet all of you and happy hunting on the game table.

Hey everybody,

I'm James from Northern Ireland. I've been into Warhammer since 1992. So in September I will have been collecting for twenty years. My uncle and I started when I was but a wee nipper with Hero Quest and my love grew from there. My first army was Orcs and Goblins but my attention was soon drawn to The Undead.

I played the Undead for years and when the Vampire Counts got their own book I was ecstatic. I have had many armies since my favourite being The Empire but with each new incarnation I return to my beloved Vampire Counts. I have just saw the new book and models and once again I prepare to make the trip to Sylvania.

Hello guys! Nice to see some new faces here. We will be running plenty of things with the release of the new army book, so hopefully you'll find something we release useful in the coming days!

Indeed. Just watch out for Okkam's Mindrazor on those high-leadership elves; I don't like the idea of fighting S7+ elves. xD

Hey! I´m a new Vampire Countess, who cames from Spain. My name´s Margui (Margarita and I´m quite new on these posts, so I beg for mercy and patience from all of you. Also, my english is really bad... :( I´m 22 years old and I´ve began nearly with my Vampire´s army. I only own 10 grave guard, 4 bloody knights and a Vampire countess and a Necromancer. I love painting and I´m already making my own scenery.

I hope we´ll improve our armies now with the ultimate news from GW. They´re quite good... ^^

Thank you all for reading this, and see you soon (at least on net).

Bye!

Welcome Margui, and also the rest of you that I haven't met yet. This is an exciting time to be a vampire, indeed. :) :vampire2:
