Hi there,

My names Adam, although most people just call me "Monkey". I'm a gameaholic from the UK.

I've been playing Vampire Counts since the 6th edition release. I got bored of them, but the latest book has reignited my passion. I'm currently working on a colour scheme overhaul, and trying my darndest to choose a suitable hat for my new general, Olman. :D

wow, I totally missed this thread when I joined. I'm Sam. Been blood-sucking since the 6th edition, but I've always had a soft spot for those gory horrors.

Nethirsalis was actually a name for a necromancer style character on oblivion that I planned out and kept trying to make but always switched to my oldskool battlemage instead. So I turned him into a vampire and converted him from a magical God to a 3rd level vampire combat monster on a dragon. neither models are very far in the building yet as I only have a face and half a skeleton for the dragon, but soon enough I shall be raining terror down from the skies.

Welcome everyone I hadn't welcomed so far (which must be like 100-200 people by now...)!

Fortunately for you, I invented a potion which will un-zombiefy you (especially useful with Mr Fluffy running around)... so that I can then turn you into a Zombie myself! Bwahahaha!

Ahem. Welcome:)

Hi, im new to Vampire Counts and playing games of Warhammer. I have been painting 40k and Fantasy miniatures, but decided to actually start an army for once, and felt the allure of the Vampire Counts. I am doing a steady ammount of progress on my army, and have about 700 points of Vampire Counts in total. I hope to start a project log soon.

Hello everybody.

I just got 2000+ points of VC from a friend who lost interest, and I alrady have an inspiration for my theme...

Anyone remember the 5th ed. Undead book, which mentions the skeletal kislevites who battle endlessly against the incursions of chaos? That's my theme. Expect many references to Eastern European history and folklore.

Hello CN Forum,
My Username is Social_Infidel and I have been Collecting
Vampire Counts, for approximately 3 years, generally writing
Fluff and Modeling/Painting my army which is slowly and gradually
increasing in size. Hopefully I will begin a Painting Log soon here at
CN so I can gain motivation to finish my force, which I'm hoping to cap
off at around 3,000 points with options for a Zombie Dragon, and
Abyssal Terror.
I enjoyed when playing with the Sixth Edition Vampire Counts List, the
large amount of power playing as Necrarchs gave me in my Magic Phase,
I hopefully include this feature in my army to come,
Thank you for your Time,

Hello
My name is Aleksander, and I'm from Norway. I've played Warhammer for about 7-8 years. Started out with Empire, and have played Wood Elves for the past 2-3 years. Now I'm building up a Vampire Counts army (along with Daemons, and repainting my Empire)
Besides Warhammer, I study history and ride BMX.
That's enough for now.

My name's Samuel, i'm still at school (secondary of course), which means i have plenty of young juicy necks just waiting to sucked dry of life.*MANIAC LAUGH* I like history and skateboard, also only started collecting vampire counts a month ago.

Cya

Welcome to Carpe Noctum! Where you'll never been in a situation that violence and cannibalism can't solve!
Remember to donate blood regularly(as if we aren't going to steal it while you sleep anywayz :P)

See you in da forumz

I'll add my formal greet in this thread as well, to make my joining official. :)

My name is Emil, I'm 18 years old and just shy of a month away from graduating out of high school. My interests include Warhammer, video gaming and medieval history and weapons. You've just got to love historical bladed weapons, neh?

I started playing Warhammer Fantasy just recently, having spent my earlier days just collecting things a bit at random, as well as playing some 40K. I got into Warhammer as a whole back when I was about four years old and continued to read/philosophy/just generally care about the hobby up until where we are today. It's just too bad that I didn't spend all that time painting miniatures. If I had done that, then perhaps I'd actually be good at it now.

Bleh, it's so unfair. Why must I practice painting to be good at it?! :(

But my painting woes aside...

Hey!

Welcome Mwab! Enjoy yer stay here and make sure to feed the hungry zombies after dark, and walk around with open collar shirts! Also big signs saying "Bleed me dry" are subtle too

If yer into da backround stuff there is a very good role play going on in another section of the Forum, as well as the classic "Fluff" section for yer creative mind to explode at :)
If ya need help at painting just give me a shout - anyone can ask and I'll answer :P

Hi, I'm Fusil. I'm from the great 'Down Under'.

I've just started uni (college for you americans) and I've been playing fantasy for several years now. I've got around 3000 points of Lizardmen and VC each, both in various stages of completion. I'm actually pretty new to the forum scene, thought I might join one to get a little insight and inspiration from other players.

So yeah, hope to have some very thoughtful discussions around this joint!
Cheers! :D

Welcome to CN, the online dunnie (if thats how ya spell the crazy ozzy thing :P)
Be sure to take the great word of wisdom from the High Zombie. He seems to be quite fond of "Brains" oddly enough, but all he says these days is "Drink!"

See you in the forums :)
