Also, there is not a single retailer in holland that stocks.
Every single retailer has 0, 0, 0, 0, 0. Maybe 1 skeletons box, 1 zombiebox etc. But for 95% they simply order from GW when an order comes in online from a customer.
Theres a few real shops that have a very small selection of GW products but you cant call that stocking.
Retailers are only allowed to stock the models that GW has in stock in their own stores. But why stock, when it takes a week for an order to get to the customer. Saves tons of room, which can be used for other things that make money.
And this is the result of what i said before.
When i started with warhammer, almost 20 years ago or so the stores that sold GW products had ALOT to offer on the shelves. blisters and boxes alike. I used to spend hours looking through it all. Searching for bits or just a cool fig.
Sure, interwebs changed this but i still supported my flgs's.
I also got something like 20% off from the prize if i bought quantities, but it wasnt spoken of.
Then they shut down, one after the other....To sell something they had to have it in store, else most ppl just order direct from the net instead, saving the trip to the store, twice.
Not everyone lives in a big city with one or more gw retailers...
Myself now have an hour 15 minutes to closest retailer, and if i go, i must call first to see if they stock what i need, all due to gw policys.
Other specialiced stores that sell mostly or exclusively from a certain company may often have stock for free, or have possibility to return 'unsellable' stuff....
Anywho, pricing wont change due to bitchings on a forum. If you cant or wont spend the money, dont.
Buy used stuff or quit the hobby, whatever you want
I dont drive racecars, cuz i cant afford it.
I dont pour hate over the racing industry because of that
