Sigmar defeated armies of orcs, undead, and Chaos. He killed both Nagash and the contemporary Everchosen. He was an unstoppable monster of badassery who ate evil for breakfast and crapped out awesome.

A 40k based one.

What do you mean by a field for the inside of a ship? As far as I know ships in 40k don't have enough space to carry a field, let alone use it for anything besides grazing genetically engineered bovine-like animals for use as side dishes for the Emporer's loyal warriors.

Sorry if this has already been posted; I can't be bothered to trawl through this thread just to look for a single quote.

Yes, VC are nearly all about the characters, what do you expect from an army named after the characters? It isn't Warhammer: Random Undead.

Edit: And another:

Empire are all about the combined arms. Gunlines are not the aim, and are indeed symptoms of 'youropponentisatwerpitis' more than anything.

You'll often find a Dwarf or Tomb King player argue that they don't generate any power dice when they see the Black Coach, and may refuse to let you roll them. The solution is to cast Curse of Years (or any other RiP) spell on one of their units, and when they try and use those same power dice they claimed didn't exist to dispel it in their turn, beat them to death with their own shoes. It's the only way.

Okay, just for the record, Luthor Huss is the warhammer worlds Chuck Norris.
You can hardly kill him, little less claim his head! You might just be lucky and wound him.

When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Luthor Huss!

Reminds me of the dwarves in 1st/2nd edition. I recall a dwarf on a mule traveling to deliver a message (part of the scenario). He was getting close, when the enemy arrived on the board. In order to speed up, he dismounted, picked up the mule (dwarves were immune to encumbrance) and trotted off, successfully arriving at his destination. We worked it out, and he would not have made it had he ridden the mule.
