I just read your post, Get. Apart from some grammatical errors (which are understandable) it's good. Also it's keeping very in line with the Knight's Templar (I think). Seems that the head military person (forgot his name) is very keen on having a war. I mean, he wants more soldiers even during peacetime! Good work.
Malochai and the Sanguine Prince, we're waiting on you folks! I know Christmas/New Year etc. so try and post ASAP!

Malochai has replied and is caught up IRL, so his nation will go NPC until he has more time. Just waiting on Sanguine Prince.

I just wanted to throw an idea out to all the players.
Before the State was created the Order was just a normal Christian Knightly Order, which was only thirty years previous. Now the main Chapter was in the Empire of the Sea Dragon, this was a mighty complex were the majority of the Order was trained however lesser Chapter Houses were situated all around Europe and these still exist but mostly for recruitment purposes so local nobles send their children to join, they would begin their training in these places before being sent off to the State for proper training.
So I'm going to leave it up to each Player (excluding the Horde as it just wouldn't fit and it probably wouldn't fit The Hellenic Kingdom of Anagennisis either) if their country has a Chapter House, if it does then you can decide how big, influential, friendly and...well dutiful/corrupt it is as their isolation from the Order leadership lets them be very independent. The biggest chapter house outside of the State is still in the Empire of the Sea Dragon but aside from that it's up to you guys,
Anyway just an idea! No one has to have one of course! The only real benefits would be probably a quicker way to initiate diplomatic relations, some more soldiers to defend your nation and perhaps depending on their relation with the chapter perhaps previously established relations).

I don't think I'll be doing this. Augustus is keeping a tight grip on his empire, and would tolerate no second 'faction'. "prepares poisoned wine just in case"

Not sure how many of those there are...even if they only are "officially" devout as I imagine a lot of Chapter House knights would be lazy as it's quite a cushy gig, less warriors more politicians perhaps.
Zweiland already has religious nuts in the form of House Pretig, and above them is the papacy. There might be the odd fortified monastery, but the likelihood is they're heavily influenced by Winkelreid and Kohl.
