The lich king is amazing and the glowing eyes effect is very nice, though you could make the inner of the eye even more bright or it's the light of the photograph that makes it seem dark.

Whew, I'll have to blow the dust off this plog.
Here's what I got done on my first weekend of having a life in three months! I love not having to finally work on week days AND weekends.
I'm trying to create the feel of just how savage these ghouls are. While I've seen many different colors for the ghouls, it's to my understanding that they look a bit more fierce if they still have the human pigmentation to them. All in all, these buggers are a pain in the ass to paint so I'm anxious to finish all thirty of them and move on!
As always, C&C is greatly appreciated!

Great stuff Jake. Love Mannfred's eyes. Simply amazing. The only criticism I have it the mould lines on the guy being attacked by the ghoul. The leg sticking out, the flash goes straight down the leg. Otherwise, great stuff.

Ugh! I know. I hate that mold line. I struggled for a while to get that off, but as you can see it still shows up. I'll have to tinker with it some more.

If it won't come off with a hobby knife, the best thing I've found is a small file. I use a thin, flat metal file, going across the leg following the shape/curves of the leg, and it generally works. Not guaranteed, but worth a shot. The only thing is that is *might* slightly flatten the leg a bit. How much more on this project do you have to do?

I thought the agreement was I would have my way if you did give me the tutorial
The ghouls look great though, very feral looking as you wanted, but I stil don't really like the sculpts - I would love to see you paint the Heresy ghouls.

Aye boo I know the feeling. You have a fantastic control of your brush red army. I love the drakenhoff banner, almost makes me want to give up on mine almost. The blood knights too look great so I am curious how many golden deamons you have.

Really nice Jake, reminds me of the work I did on my Blood Knights in my old Plog - they have been stripped now mind you.

Don't give up with your painting! Just keep at. I'm relatively new to the painting hobby but I just practice a lot. Don't be afraid to push your limits.

Hey all! I'm back for good now. I'm over all the b.s. with my job and the ex. Now moving onwards!
I'm looking to have Nos' army out by the 25th so I'm headlong into progress now. Here are some shots!
I have touch up's to do on the BK's and Mannfred, but we're getting there. Next up is a big unit of GG, wraiths and the corpse cart, along with assorted characters.

Wonderful work, especially enjoyed looking at that Mannfred and those ghouls. Just the way that they all fit together, fighting over a fresh meal is delicious to say the least. Excited to see further additions to this lineup.
