Nice one Santa, you sure do get stuff done quickly. I'm working on some more ghouls currently, painting is fine but putting them together takes me ages (I spend far to much time making sure every ghoul is different and most have a little bit of converting).

The rake looks like I imagined Gollum to look when reading the hobbit as a kid and teen (way before the movies). I like Andy Serkis and Gollum in the movies but he really doesn't match up with how I imagined him in the books.

Upon Memorial Day weekend one of the projects is my desert baneblade. Painted in the same pattern as the baneblades of us army. This was my inspiration.



This is where we shall start,



This is a fun fact reminds me of a bane blade vs a leman Russ.



Exploding tank of much painting. Guns first for they are the most important piece. Without then nothing goes boom.



Over the hills and everywhere we go shooting orks as we go.



Then there was the once mighty hull stripped down for refit. New engine heavier armor. Even pictures of the girls of the imperium upon the inner walls.



Thought process of the imperium



Here are the finished guns I used the idea that they camo the guns the same as the rest of the tank. So yes they so have a plain look to them.



Even baneblades have limits



Here is the tank finished ready to roll out to destroy the heretics. Wait it needs guns.

The reason for the gun being uninstalled yet. Is some one left a wrapper in the barrel.



Now we have the finished tank fully assembled.

Pirates of the Sunken Sea,:Nsfw Scurvy Dog Undead werewolf

This will now turn into my zombie pirate plog. Beware the horror that I shall soon unleash. If your all lucky I might even make some fluff for this one. I will ask for help some along the way on some items others I have my own grande scheme in mind. Please note my army is serving two masters the vampire counts book and the empire book. So some units may not make sense if you don't view it as that.


I am searching for idea's for undead pirate ships or ships I can turn undead. For use as mortis engines and coven thrones.

I need at least two total. I would love for them to be two different ones.

I am going to be putting them on a chariot base with flying stands to make them appear as if there floating so being slightly larger is ok.

Great idea, can't help out with sourcing boats. Sounds like that will take a bit of research.

Idea for the stands though. You could support them with a spirit host but work in a bunch of ethereal mermaids and or sea creatures. That would be pretty cool.

while the landship is the essence of cool siphoned into resin, it costs a kidney and a liver. And in needing two it would be cheaper to buy a team of crazed russian scientists have them build a shrink-ray and shrink some real ships to scale!

Hmm if you value money over time i would try to make them in plasticard making planks and beams in thicker plastic.. It would be a mother of a project but satisfying as hell if done I would imagine.!

I do not think he will be able to get a pirate ship like that for cheap, unless he finds someone who is willing to ( to be honest ) part with one without getting her spent money back.

The land ship is an option but is it just me or...well it does not really look too shippy to me anymore? It's like more like a big wooden car. And no it's not due to the wheels but the shape overall.

Though hmm, he might be in theory be able to get a older, lesser quality, wooden ship model. But imagine that would be hell to convert/adjust.

It says 13" on the box so way too big sadly..!

I still think the best solution is to make it from scratch, maybe use the CC frame to some extent..

Today is Memorial Day in the united states a day to remember all those who have fallen for my country. Here is a picture of prince William visiting Arlington cemetery, paying homage to some of our fallen.





Today’s project will be my starship trooper guard in honor of the men who bleed in the name of freedom.

Since my guard are also cultists I plan to add extras such as necromunda figures to it. I view the models of van Saar as a scout squad. Though possible just fun to paint, I see them finding use as cultists.

I found a few ships I was considering. Sadly they again will be too large but will make great terrain.
This was my main interest and find

I am at this point thinking a rowboat or similar item.

Also please note I am not asking for a cheap model I do honestly plan to buy the marienburg ship as part of my land pirates. Sadly the ship is twice the size or bigger then a steam tank so does not suite my purpose for this project.

That's why I prefer accidentally finding something cool and making a project out of it, rather than trying to find something for a cool project :ghost:


I did see a "Pirate" themed VC army for sale on ebay once though that had something I really liked! They replaced Corpse Carts with Corpse Crabs Just some giant crab models with the pile of corpses impaled/heaped up on their shell, it was really awesome.

But besides offering you suggestions for something you were not looking for, I have nothing to give sadly.
