Thanks Orks are the best scrappers of them all. That is what imspired me to paint them. I created there own history even with this tribe. Of course its a very bloody and violent one but still. The thing Is I dont play orks there just fun to paint. But ya never know I might play them someday.

Yes it is and many times I find things that are going for alot on ebay. That gun barrel set is the old hell blaster I felt it approprite for my older style army. Its crew ended up a mortor crew. That was before I found the part hellblaster I had. I also found the old reikguard on foot lol.

I am sorry I havent updated this as often as I should. Been busy with a empire army and my gamers tale. Ill have a few more mini's to add over the next few days but for now here is my winged strigoi. Converted using gargoyle wings(metal ones) and some green stuff. One of my few good metal covnersions.

With your vampire i think you going to find the same thing i did, it isnt pale enough, trust me, it will start to niggle at you after a while.

actaully I like the colors he is, I feel he is more ghoullike then vampire my strigoi started life as ghasts. To fit well with my ghouls and I feel the colors are great on them. 3 years latter and I still paint each one like that.

She was done that way on purpose....the fluff on the female vampires reads that they were able to blend into society very well...at least until the villiage folks realized their nobility weren't aging. So knowing that I'm pretty sure they have a fairly lively complexion.

This is my ethreal vampire or a shadow vampire. I wanted a vampire that is cloaked with the shadows, this older model was more wraith like then vampire so I choose him. He looks like my spirit hosts, but not sure I like him.

Does any one remember the days of great weapon skeletons. I am slowly mixing them in with my hand weapon and sheilds units. So many classic figures so much fun to paint. I bet no one can tell which ones I personaly did and which ones my wife did. Our painting is so close to each other that It is hard to tell somedays. Back to the living now to work on more sylvannian's

The vampires eyes are red, it isnt a smudge I had to go check the model myself. Nope your only half right the far left and far right are ones I did all by myself. I only base coat things ussually so it does get hard to tell. Thanks for the kind words again boo.

Thanks for the encouragement my freinds, and witchking I thought we all got equal zombies if we finished the pledge. Didnt know this was a contest. Either way its just fun to paint. Here is my update from last night, since then mounted otto without the sheild was finished. Having issues doing him a sheild. Also my poor poor knights are modeled wrong to be my beloved drakenhoff templars so they are now being painted as reiksguard, as that is how they were modeled years ago.




Out of bordum I took a picture of my painting table. With the many works in progress on it. I am currently working on 10 skeletons the two wight kings on nightmars, count otto, a shadow vampire. The rest is just there in various stages, I do work on the rest from time to time.

A very fitting model for Otto you guys chose there. I really like the one on the horse.

Valten as a UNIT filler? This is heresy! :silent: Haha

The freehanding looks nice as well.

About the halberdiers: They look ace, much better than the old state troopers and the new state troopers IMO. The old spearmen and handgunner are some of the coolest models there is.
