What I do to stay motivated on large amount of troops that are almost all the same is do odd ball figures, (everyone has one of them idiots everyone) like a clan rat wearing a odd color choice, or a zombie doing something odd like holding his hand up discovering it for the first time.

Clan Rats...I dipped them.

Great colot-scheme for those Nids, classic purple. The really old ones were red and purple but I love this purple/black/bone. And yes the extra work on all that chitin pays off.

Hmm...I think I'd leave the lower jaw blade as it is, my brain is telling me that to paint it black would look too out of place somehow

That is a tough one indeed! I'm torn - knowing myself i would paint it up black just to look how it pans out, only to change it back if didn't look good enough...

That being said I would paint it up as is too, if you have more mental constitution than me , and when it turns out too look good, be happy that you didn't give in to the little devil of a time-waster inside your head that told you to do it in black

I am working on a figure to represent Pisces the astrological sign.



When I looked at this model I thought of this picture.
