NO the snow has melted spring in wyoming means above melting point one day and warm weather. The fallowing day we have spring blizzards and below freezing weather. The snow should be over now, it is that time of year that it stops falling mostly.

This is the reason we were moving the wood pile below to the lower part of the property. It is also time for yard work to begin.

In a time where knowledge is power this great general is a mystery even to the ever watchful eyes of the inquisition.None know where he comes from only that he rose through the ranks of the Cadian guardsmen with incredible speed. Which latter led to him being trained as a commissioner for he was so charismatic. After a long and drawn out battle where his regiment bested a group of chaos space marines he was awarded the title General. Yet to this day he still dresses in the guise of a commissioner.



To be all I can be in the imperial army. Also known as being suicidal against overwhelming odds.



As I said I plan to mostly use him as a commissioner, I will field him standard as he holds no weapons. That way there is no arguments during games. Though the lights saber in his pocket counts as a power sword of righteousness right?

Today we have a zombie fairy also known as me messing around all because of this photo I seen. This is of a supposed real fairy. I have yet to find more info on it.



Here we have the the models after a few modifications.well at least to the one the other is still vanilla.

Onto the production of painting, to match the tone of the fairy corpse above i choose my dire wolves paint scheme.

As I sit assemble and painting these we are watching a zombie movie. Judy is chanting eat that girl to the zombie. My daughter rooting for the zombie. A future necromancer in training.

After a wash and details we have zombies fairies an sprite. Another thing these fairies remind me of is the fairies out of hell hell boy. You know them disturbing tooth fairies who have my kids afraid of the tooth fairy.

Thanks Yorga and yes I picked them due to being the most easy, Got the ghouls mostly assembled but work hours are a Pain as of late.

Thanks Skarsnik just wait until you see my beautiful ethereal knight I am working on.

Recently I purchased a army from a buddy who was quitting 40k. Which in itself is a moment of sadness. In the recent league play I played this army twice. I even beat it twice but it was a fun game each time. The army itself was a steal.

So here are the before I start pictures please note I did not paint these. I will be however touching them up and fixing mistakes. Some pieces are even destined to join other armies.

Cracks knuckles now it is my turn. First we shall set to work to fix the confusion on painting. Some have the wrong coloring for the chapter. Others have confusion on the red hands.



Initiates will have only the left hand painted red, upon becoming a veteran they will also have there right hand painted red.

Another change I shall make is one of the tactical squads will become black templar honour brothers from The Declates Crusade. Where the two forces exchanged iconography and fought in mixed squads. To cement the force into a united front.

I also plan to attempt this banner of the chapter

As seenbefore here is where I started on Kantor.As the beginning of my crimson fist reconstruction project.

He is a great model to paint being the chapter master of the crimson fists. He is one of the unique personalities in the game. Bring to life a legend such as this is a honor.

A great legend who even while his chapter was nearly destroyed fought on for victory and the survival of his chapter. Not giving in to the glory to be gained at fighting a final last stand.



Now we know his true secret.

This idea was spawned by another,Skarsnik by name but with a twist of change of ethereal styles. I will be going with a light blue ghost theme. A change from my shadow people.

Here is our first victim I mean test model.




In the end my ghosts will look very similar to this, yes it's a political statement. It is also one I share but I really am posting it for the ethereal theme colors.




Here is our ghostly lad half done, I really am liking how they are turning out, glad I picked the theme I did.




Some ghosts are more disturbing then others.




Here is my finished ethereal knight I am really happy how he turned out. What do you all think?

Sadly I think above will be the closest you can get unless you do a more transition style painting. As seen in see through clothing painted on some models. I was going more for the theatrical ghosts often seen in cartoons and movies. (blame the episode of Hercules I just finished watching before this mini.)


I did not say today I said soon, I have a cowboy commission coming up much much cowgirlness. My wife watched it and I am teaching my daughter right that vampires are more like the old hammer films and do not sparkle.

Something like the above photo is what I am going for. Along with the retinue of his choosen warriors. Here he stands to begin his journey for the dark powers.



We all must take time out of destroying the universe and smell the flowers.



How embarrassing for the mighty kharne I am sure his revenge shall be swift.

First we shall do the troopers here is a before shot to wet the taste buds



Word bearer art how awesome not sure if the terminator is someone special or just a random drawing. But cool either way.



Now we have the silver done on the word bearers. A ways to go before they are finished but every battle is worth the effort.

The Face of Apraxia


Yesterday I picked up Tina from school. Nothing new, it’s a four times a week thing. There were two little blue ribbons with cards with them. Being focused on Tina, I pocketed the bags to look at later. Imagine my surprise as I pulled them ribbons out a saw a picture of one of Tina’s classmates on the card. So I began reading the card.



I had always assumed he was shy. I only see him for a few minutes as I drop Tina off with her teachers, I never actually realized. Tina thinks he’s something special, she’s always talking about him. I know why. He is sweet and funny, and I’m hoping we can arrange some play dates between the kids.

I actually think it was quite clever of his mother to pass out awareness ribbons. I had honestly never heard of apraxia until yesterday.Today was the first ever apraxia awareness day.

My death guard much like my world eaters will have a influence of the past mixed with chaos of today.



My normal chaos troops and some of there special troops will be closer to the preheresy armor. Mixed with what would of been of the loyalists had swayed the course of the legion.



On that same note my plague marines will bear a closer look like those out of the old adeptus books.

Wip on the regular legion in this photo, where more of the preheresy coloring is evident. Funny note unlike my world eaters death guard will only be using the chaos codex. Due to the need to show there resilient nature. To show there toughness the mark of nurgle shall be present. Even with the loyalists.
