Sharkbelly's Projects

[Sharkbelly]

It will be both!

In the meantime, I finished painting up some tents from Renedra. I like how they turned out. I am really impressed with the quality of the models!

[Menkeroth]

Small and simple but efficient! tents for some land camp?

[Sharkbelly]

That's right. Or for a group of adventurers...

This guy is the penultimate model in my Araby warband. It includes a character model for each core class in the new D&D 5th edition player's handbook. It would also make a great group of themed heroes for Aos or Warhammer. After him, only the warlock is left.

[Menkeroth]

Aye, he is good indeed! Some arabian warlord?

[Sharkbelly]

That's right. Or a bodyguard. Here is the last one in the group, the warlock:

[Shadespyre]

Very nice! You know what you must do next: group photo!

[Menkeroth]

Bestimmt! They look very nice, just like old GW or other companies at the time

[Sharkbelly]

Thanks, all. I'll see if I can pull one together tonight!

[Sharkbelly]

Here you go:

[Farmer7574]

@Sharkbelly Cool warlock, I like the orange orb on the staff - it goes really well with the firey colours at work here. Awesome shot of the group of minis there too.

[Menkeroth]

Aye, good work! Lots of interesting miniatures and redied force for role games or Mordheim

[Sharkbelly]

I added a few more underwater models today; a giant shark and a giant octopus.

[Menkeroth]

Looking great! Just what you need when you brave the open seas! But are they not too gigantic? Judging from the picture it will be a hard task to kill them!

[Farmer7574]

@Sharkbelly Nice sea creatures. I especially like the warm colours you've used on the octopus. It looks pretty darn realistic! Great job.

[Nagash Worshiper]

Awesome sea creatures! Any idea what you will play them like?
I stumbled over a whale model, undead, that looked very cool! Have you already seen it?

[Sharkbelly]

I had not seen that, no. Very creepy. I'm not sure about most of the critters in Age of Sigmar or Warhammer. but for D&D they're pretty straightforward.

[Sharkbelly]

Dwarf steamship and mini submarine

[Menkeroth]

For all those critters you can easily write warscrolls or use them as they are used in Silver Tower.

[Sharkbelly]

I cut some planking (popsicle sticks) last night to cover the foredeck.

[Menkeroth]

Timber?

[Sharkbelly]

Here's one for the Spelljammer fans out there:

[Menkeroth]

Not bad! and good to see old cogsmith intact!

[Shadespyre]

Giant space hamster!? Awesome!

[Sharkbelly]

I finally finished painting up this longboat from Games of War. Turns out it's just the right size for my Dwarf Slayer Pirates.

[Menkeroth]

Really awesome! the whole wooden boat?
