wow im loveing all these models!!!! i want them all! i think i might try a zombie dragon conversion cause the GW zombie dragon is terrible it looks like a snake that has legs and is doing some sort of weird half falling over dance... anyways i like alll the models!!! and i wanna see that zombie dragon painted!

My camera (old-poor quality) needs the flash for the models to really show up, but in doing so, it drowns out a lot of my subtle highlights and makes some colors blend together. These models always look better to me in person than in pictures. However, my girl is getting a new camera for xmas tomorrow, yaya!

Sink that countess is remarkably painted the highlight’s fantastic and the overall is superb.
I never liked the vamp lord miniatures but this look’s too brilliant nice work there.

This is my 7th edition lord on Abyssal Terror conversion. I used static grass for the furry "bat" effect.

To be honest with you I haven’t even noticed your vamp lord missing a head, to busy drooling over your dragon I suppose :konrad:, you owe me a new keyboard by the way.

Lasombra your min is great, like the clean colors and your highlighting is ace.

thanks guys. well, all i used from the high elf dragon was the spare head, tail, and spikes along the back, i still have my fully intact high elf dragon. i started off with the base, and a wire coat hanger, cementing the hanger in and under the base. i then bent the hanger in the pose i wanted, so the hanger goes from under the base up the tail through the body and ends at the tip of the tongue, then i just molded around it with green stuff, the wing bones are also coat hanger. im glad you guys like it.
p.s. the exposed rib bones are toothpicks, dont worry, im 90% sure i didnt use them.

My old VC Army was originally led by the deadly and darkly beautiful Angelique De Malinbois ( modeled from the Neferata figure with a couple of minor changes to make her look a wee bit less "Egyptian") and here she is with another of my old vampires......

The painting is lovely these mini’s take you back to the past a bit, even if they not as detailed as the new mini’s they still have that certain charm about them.

CF nicely done with your chaos lord I also prefer a beefier vamp, the GW vamps look awful for the exception of Vlad and Manfred, painting wise is ok but if I where you id play around with washes to get some depth.

BU the painting is excellent, I especially love the bony guy where’s the mini from?

I like your color scheme and they are beautifully painted, but if I could suggest one thing then that would be to thin the paint as it seems to be layered heavily on.
