Thanks for the comment. The decision to pick the Chaos Lord was half me wanting to paint a fully armored Vamp (to maybe someday actually paint the Flayed Hauberk on) and half I can't paint faces and will be damned if I have to defile my Army General with my terribad face-painting skills..

Just started painting. Got my Konrad done though. I'm gonna go with the blue theme for the whole army. when i get to basing they are gonna be snow based.

You just started painting in general? Or just started VC?

That looks much better then my "just started painting" (of course, I was about 13 at the time). Unless it's just a poor photo, most of the colours could use a little more depth.

i just started painting models. ive been painting other things before (murals, pottery, even walls!)

i dont feel the pic does it justice. poor lighting and a phone camera are the contributing factors there.

I think it looks GREAT. Did you have to do much with the legs to mount it on horseback? I wanted to do that, but ended up using the model as designed.

Thanks! Not to much at all since the legs are actually High Elf legs and comes fused with that High elf Horsie. Just had to cut of a few things on the front of his armour, but that was it.

ahhh yes. the old zombie dragon guy swap. oldest trick since they brought out that model last month! i have been wanting to do that - but i cant seem to part with the vamp on zombe dragon.... i dont want the terrorgiest!!! wah! i have been silently hoping to see the "spare" vamp come up on ebay or something from someone who used the ghoul king.... alas, my plan is a lazy one.

Love the blood dragon lord!! I am thinking to do a unit of blood knights using the current Dragon Prince and this blood dragon lord encourage me. The only thing I'll change is the HE helms and put some Mantic Ghouls heads
