The top one is is Victor Cel Rau, nowadays available from Mierce Miniatures Banelord range.

The Bottom one is a vampire lord or count, can't remember, from Freebooter's Fate; they have lots of goblins and pirates and the occasional undead gem.

And yes, this is what I do. I can't compete in painting skill so I compete with funky miniatures :tongue:


There's just so many excellent character sculpts for use as vampires, wights and necromancers, and so few for rank and file soldiers.
I'm greatly annoyed that there are no good army lists using 5 or so necromancers and about a dozen various wights and vampires.

Here's the Lord now after a few changes. I changed the eyes to black and it really gives the vampire a better look

EDIT: Also after I took these pictures I added some gore to the base.

My first Vampire Lord:

The way to make black eyes pop is to put a single dot of pure white on each eye right where the light hits it or where you want the focus of his intent to be.
It gives it a little animus.
The blood around the mouth is very tasteful.NPI.
