only thing with that is that its kinda like the on going painting log just without the pics... i was just wondering what everyone was working on lol, when i was active like a mad man b4 i vanished i new what everyone was working on in there plog (was just trying to be lazy and not read everyones plogs again lol.)

I'm taking it very slow as I get back into the hobby. I don't want to overwhelm myself by doing too much at once, nor do I want Warhammer to eat too much time away from other projects and hobbies.

Modeling wise, I'm slowly assembling the army, playing proxy games about once a week and making slight adjustments as I go to get it to look and play the way I want (currently a unit of black knights is fighting for space with a unit of wraiths, and a corpse cart with a few fellbats).

As for painting, at the moment, I'm only working on a single model - a wight king BSB converted from a LotR Barrow Wight and a couple bits from the plastic empire hero kit.

DoN if you want 40k then Id say the best army is Guard simply for variety but I also love my Daemons, Tau and Chaos, and yes I do have Marines but in a diffrent way from anyone else I know ALL SCOUT ARMY rules (Hive Tyrant aint so tough with a Machete stabbed into its eye!)

Put together my entire 2k army in 3 weeks im quite proud lol,not started painting yet tho,but soon DoN id try tyranids,used to have lots of fun slicing up my friends blood angel terminators with genestealers and lictors are cool

Painting 20 more skeletons, I just put together 3 heavies and 3 medium jacks for Warmachine, and emailing Vekarin about a commission because I don't want to paint my Orks.

I'm just starting a ...Goblin... army, so that's going to be taking up my time for most of the next few weeks/ months I should think! However before I start on them properly, I need to make some new Black Knight models. They're going to be constructed from various spare bits- the steeds and riders' legs are some ANCIENT armoured Dark Rider models. From there I've fished out as many Empire trooper torsos, which will be the bodies. Then I plan to add Grave Guard heads, and Skeleton spearmen arms + Grave Guars shield arms. And honkin' great shoulder pads, if I can find any. And it all needs to be done by Sunday. Where's my superglue?!

I'm working on my Imperial Guard army currently. When 5th edition came out, I totally rehashed them. I'm pulling off a Mars Skitarii theme. I have about 200 Cadians with red camo, without any other significant diversion from the norm, and about 200 Catachans whom I'm converting with some Necron bits, a few Fantasy bits and quite a few home-made things. My goal for the Catachans is to have them look like cyborgs, made by the Adeptus Mechanicus to fight as auxiliaries. No real bearing on the rules of course, but hey, it looks cool.

Finished my Bloodthurster using a GW Balrog, and starting to put together a WOC force. I started last night to look at my old metal Skaven and trying to decide what to do with them and the new book.

Right now I'm currently scheming on a possible conversion for Flesh Hounds by combining the plastic Bloodletters with the plastic Warhounds. I think I'll indulge myself with a box of those two tomorrow.

I have three Necromancers, two Thralls and a couple wild cards that could either be more Necromancers or Banshees due to their composition. After I've got these situated, I'll work on my force.

I have to come up with 2250 points, since that's what the local club plays.

I'm painting a few models at the same time.
Warp Lightning Cannon
5 Nurgle Cultists (acting as Grave Guard in my Nurgling Counts army)
6 LotR dwarf rangers, painted up as part of Thorin's Company (right hood and beard colour)
5 very old skaven models, one from 1985 (titled RATMEN, before they got their name) and four from 1987.

Still not finished with the cultists or the dwarves, but the skaven are done. They've been replaced by a grey seer on foot, a warpfire thrower and a jezzail, all OOP models.
I'm getting really enthusiastic about the new skaven.

If I can get off my lazy butt to cast a few, I can do it. Even though shipping overseas can be a PITA as they have a tendency to lose or break the models in transit ( How they managed to do that with a tissue wrap and two layers of bubble wrap in a cardboard box is beyond me. )

I'm tempted to cast/sculpt a larger sword for her, though not sure yet.
