Lengthwise it fills the base out great. There will be some basing buildup involved to span the width appropriately, though.I'll think of it as extra canvas with which to pimp this bad boy out!
I think it sounds like a big project, but with some careful sculpting and painting, will pay off in the end! I need to do more converting, myself- I have people like you to thank for that

I used a horde of skellies and TG to work out the angles for arms and head so it looks natural. Pretty happy.

The used models I bought to start the army up are built up a bit with cork board for magma basing, so I may as well roll with it.
A long time ago, I wanted to start a Ghostrider themed mounted VC, but all I got is a space marine bike in parts, and no idea how to rearange it to a cool, pissed-off-looking, burning skeletonbike

Assembling rats. Rats as far as the eye can see. I've got 46 of 80 Clanrats built so far. This is my first night working on any of my Skaven models.
My first commission! Sort of... My bud gave me a crewless Hellcannon. Instead of cash, he asked me to paint his 6 Outriders and 6 Pistoliers. Color me flattered.

Phew, finished. 80 Clanrats. I used the Island of Blood Clannies, which were completely idiot-proof. These guys were a joy to assemble, and a GW unit that actually ranks like it's supposed to is shocking. The only issue I've got is I'm two right arms short because I bought two IoB boxes worth of Skaven, so they're supposed to be assembled as two units of Hand Weapons, two units of Spears, all 4 with full command. Combined thusly (with spear hafts cut off to make them two units of 40 WYSISYG Hand Weapon Clanrats as I field them), I'm stuck with two extra banner arms instead of weapon arms. I'll end up needing to scavenge the two arms from another kit.

Built my movement trays yesterday and put some paint on the rest of my core. I'm aiming to get as much of it finished by the end of the day as possible.

Just assembled two units of Hexwraiths. They are incredibly hard to put together! All these tiny bits that need to fit perfectly with other tiny bits. How do you guys go about it? Perhaps using some green stuff would make things easier. I'm really more of a metal person.
