So, what's everyone working on?

Just had a painting marathon, spending hours working on my vampire lord. Not very happy with the result and still some more work to do. Trying to get skeletons done, then after those it will be time to resume work on my corpse cart, and then I've got to strip the paint of my zombies (stubborn things, simple green did nothing!). Not sure whether I am even going to bother with the zombies actually... I am tempted to chuck the stupid things into the microwave and see what happens.

Oh well, with luck I will soon have a small force ready to play against a friend I met while in the psych ward (He collects warriors of chaos)

Now that the tide of work begins to recede, I'm eyeing that corpse cast/mountain of ghouls/grave terrain piece.

I'm salivating a little.

I've just been given 4 of the old metal Space Marine jet bikes... They need stripping and cleaning up, but I'm thinking space marine scouts... (they're under scale for space marine armour now). would have to use the same rules as a bike squadron, but they'd certainly look different.

I miss my epic already I've just sold 4 pretty big armies, painting it was surprisingly easy its a shame its so expensive nowadays

Yeah the prizes are awful, I'm lucky to have three armies, now down to one as I sold the other two to the guys I'm going to play with. Seems that most who play Epic are older gamers, never met a teen who wanted to play(not that I'm trying to attract teens to play with me...heh that sounds wrong).
DON; for some reason it's gaining more popularity over here just like Battlefleet Gothic.

Finished up my warlord and ten stands of marines. Now going for four land raiders and six rhinos. All Iron Hands which is a bit difficult at that scale; bright colors are much easier but I want an IH/Ad Mech force like in my regular 40K games as I'm a hardcore Mechanicus fan and using them as count as scouts and such is easier and legal. I also just bought two old Warhounds which are going in the same color; Legio Metallica all the way baby.

I have a bunch of battlefleet gothic stuff, miss playing battlefleet gothic. Maybe oneday I should take it all in to the local gaming club and try to get them into it.
I have an imperial fleet and my dad collected chaos.

I'm finally getting to wrestle those ghouls into shape. 2 down, 58 to go. I just got the body part pack from Army Builder, it's PERFECT foe theming ghoul's bases. I plan on 3-4 fillers for the two units, but I have some pretty nice tombs to go with the feeding ghouls filler. Here we go, cannibal overload.

Still plugging away on Gina the Ogre bodyguard.... Really... really.... REALLY have come to hate that intricate "Marie Antoinette" style gown she's wearing.... such a truly hard... detailed.... thing to get just right.

Also messing around with my Black Gondola.... finally found just the perfect female vampire to slip into the sepulcher on board.... (But that's just gonna stay my secret till it's ready.....) :tongue:

And.... I decided one of my dregs wants to be the handler of some war dogs..... Nasty zombie war doggies of course...... like the ones out of "Resident Evil"..... Yep. That's a given.

I just wish "Real Life" would let me take more free time to actually let some of these ideas come to fruition..... Lately seems the World wants to conspire to steal away all my hobby time...... Arrrrghhh!!!

Several things! I have a lot of Skaven models to paint, and a lot of Warriors of Chaos, and also a lot of Eldar stuff... But just at this moment, I am painting a Warpfire Thrower and a Skavenslave.

Just purchased and downloaded Beat Hazard of steam. Afraid im not going to get much painting done tonight!

Dipping my last batches of Skeletons and Clanrats and almost done with my Epic. Still some last super small details like company markings etc. sounds nuts at that scale but with such small models it's sometimes hard to keep companies apart which is important with Epic, especially with Iron Hands color scheme it tends to get blurry.

When all of that is done I'm going to paint up my converted Iron Hands/AdMech 40k army. Have been working on that for ages but never got to painting it with all the crazy stuff going on in my life. I'm such an AM fanboy.

I just finished repainting all of my skeletons . All 130 of them . Not satisfied with that boredom I then decided to redo all of my wights , 11 wight kings and 20 grave guard . Fun .

Now I've finally finished DoNs Vlad, I'm just starting on a Blood Angels commission of 5 Scouts (to this standard) and Dante.

Following DoN's Vlad, I've been asked to paint another Dark Vlad, this time in red, so I shall be starting that alongside the scouts. Might even use the same plog just with a new heading. I might have to reward myself when I have them all done with a model for myself!

Been painting zombies most the day. Two more to do then the unit is done (Except for hair and basing)
But those two zombies shall have to wait till the morning... well it is the morning technically. (its 12:01 am) so they shall wait for... well when i wake up after I sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppppppppppppppppppp.

After those two zombies, I will be putting down the paintbrush, and making preparations for the tale of painters that starts on may 1st. Gotta assemble 5 more grave guard, pin a broken battlesuit, fix the engine of a hammerhead, find a slotta base for aun'shi and assemble him, prime the grave guard, fix some leman russes, prime the rest of the tau stuff (including a devilfish) and primer the tanks.

Then, I shall twiddle my thumbs and wait for may 1st. I have plenty of games to keep me busy (The entire C&C and red alert and generals series, mass effect 2, dead space, world of tanks, minecraft)
Might even clean my room.

I'm working on revising for my two maths exams, add-maths exam, statistics exam & coursework, music exam, french listening, reading, and extended writing exams, history exam, six science exams, and my two english exams. Oh, yeah, and the four latin exams.

Oh, working on as in hobby? Oh... I guess I painted 10 ghouls the other day, and finally finished up my 15 skeletons (all they needed was touching up and basing) to complete the unit of 20 (with 5 dark elf spearmen painted ghost style intermingled amongst them.)

Just 30 Ghouls, 30 Grave Guard (and 20 to assemble first) and my heroes to go!

Well, slowly playing with turning ghouls into garghouls, which is fun.

Trying to beg, borrow, or long term borrow without permission some rat ogre bits for some converting.

Reconsidering ditching the newer edition skeletons (I don't know what it is about those guys I don't like) after seeing some turned into ethereal spirits in another thread.

Hoping to get my whole army out one of these days, just to see it in it's medicore glory.

Taking a minor break from minis gaming after finding Game Crafter.

I'm still doing a bit with my new army, though I ended up losing a good portion of the models since a friend of mine took over GM duties for the RP I've been running for a few years (A lot of my collection was painted up for the game and it felt right that he's the one to handle tracking them now).

But, my primary objective is more of getting a card game in working order, and if you like watching Kaiju movies, you'd probably enjoy the game when I get it finished.

Each player has their own decks. (A total of 64 cards for each player with one deck representing the current "phase of the monster [that deck only has 4 cards] and the other being your monsters attacks and abilities as well as the local military and other similar events).

I'm still working on two commissions - a Dark Vlad and 5 BA Scouts + Dante. Then I suppose it'll be getting close to the Golden Bat. I have my entry already primed and ready. It's going to be a fallen knight, but that's all you're getting!
