Lol, this is the most fun I've had painting, just being able to go a bit fruity.

They actually look pretty cool (yet fruity). They look like they're on the search for the Holy Marshmallow...

The colours remind me of Gnomes from World of Warcraft, they usually have pink hair. I'd love for someone to bring out a range of Gnomes... just so I could dissect & disembowel them and make some awesome Night Goblin unit fillers with them.

The rider is part High Elf, part Dark Elf and the same set of heads as the rest of my Blood Rose Knights.

On top of what is pictured here, there are about a dozen other female vampires or necromancers that I want to include - and I haven't gone looking for more for a while, so there are probably others too.

I finished up more squigs for my O&G army the other day and only have 5 squigs in the mail to knock this project on the head for the time being.

The weather has been brutally humid lately and it had been hard to sit down and focus on anything. It should cool down in a few weeks then I can blast through the squigs and start up the VC.

Not painted much lately, unfortunately. I've mostly been helping a friend of mine write some rules and background for a game we've been working on. So many spell names to come up with. It's been great fun, though.

In Warhammer news, I've solved the problem of how to differentiate the position players for my Wood Elf Blood Bowl team. With that block removed, I'll be painting on them some tomorrow.

Wait, that was Blood Bowl news not Warhammer news. I, er, something about Stormguy Forevers! With round bases! Sigmar?

Gathered enough enthusiasm to throw some base colours onto another female character. Wondering if I should break the stereotype of pale skin, black hair, red and black clothes that I've been sticking to so far?

@Shadespyre I'm a fan of your pale skin and black hair theme, but I reckon if you want to experiment with variety then keep the pale skin and try some different colour hair.

Yeah, I think the pale skin is a must. Trying something else for hair right now. It looks nice, but does it look Vampy? You'll have to wait a while to decide...

@Draykorinee Sounds like a good blend. I actually like the colours of the three vampire brides in the 'Van Helsing' movie starring Hugh Jackman. One is blonde, another brunette and the other red haired.

I just finished building my last zombie! The zombie building workshop is now officially closed!

Now I just have to paint these last 23 zombies and I will finally have reached my goal of 210 zombies =D

Also been working on a lot of terrain, some Arrer Boyz and a pair of Mangler Squigs. My plogs are soon in it for some updates to say the least.

I am now writing some vampire fluff set in the AoS. The series will follow a Lamian vampiress and her quest for power beneath the shadow of Nagash.

At first it will pretty much just be a number of battles with little in the way of character development. Basically, it will read like regular warhammer stories that focus on combat as opposed to what goes on in a character's mind. It's a different way of writing for me so I'll see how it goes. I hope you good people enjoy them.

Meanwhile, I just finished 5 bases for random Warriors of Chaos done up in AoS style. Wanted to paint up a few test models/do basing to see how it looks. Also I wanted to try a paint scheme similar to forge worlds scheme for the Alpha Legion (The hydra ones, right?) the blue/green-y metallic looking guys. My friend has a hard on for them in 40k but hates how they look every time he paints them, so I was hoping to paint up some Tzentch looking Warriors and gain some insight into the technique behind painting that to see if I can't offer him better advice.
