Some Dire Wolves with a kind of black ashen red head color theme. With the exception of some small detail work and base-work I plan to stick with this simple three color method.

Interesting look! Do you airbrush? I think they'd really pop with some contrasting highlights on the red faces.
Yes, I picked one up last week and it has saved me a TON of time, although nothing can replace the old brush when it comes to nail out the details on a model. I plan to do some soft highlights on the head and do things like hanging skulls etc, but in all honesty I really hate the dire wolf figure so I want to keep it at table top quality and not much else. :)

Charnel Pit, took about 4 hours total or so to make.
Began with a cork coaster for pots and pans, cut a cardboard suport base and glued it to the bottom. Filed down the sides and carved out the pit. The skeleton is from the gigant sprues.

Flocked the sides with gravel and sprayed it grey and then black in the center. Painted some areas with a lighter red and then more or less drenched it in Blood of the BLood God.

Added some skulls, bones and stuff. Magnetized the skeleton base so you can just pull it off if an army moves over it.

Almost done. Painted skulls, bones and various other bodyparts and stuff, added more blood and flocked the sides with some grass and the upper part with brown/red gras patches to make it look more grim.

The good old skeleton seem to have been a rapist. The pit is directly under the light so it looks more light than it is. The Blood has more of a deep red color than the almost pinkish tone it gets here. And thats how I did a Warhammer Fantasy Charnel Pit.
