ok, ive just finished the necromancer warlock. unfortunately he doesnt look very dead, but oh well. here he is:

just for everyones infomation ive finished the next 20 clanrat zombies as well as the Grey/Black Seer next in line are the night runner zombies, followed by the warlord/vampire and finally the Black Bell. not much to go :grin: (after that im going to wait for the new vampire models to come out before expanding the army further, i have some conversion ideas for both the new ghouls and dire wolves)

May i suggest putting some arcane glyphs and scribbles on the book? Nothing too fancy, but it doesnt look brill being blank.
Use the night runners as ghouls rarther than zombies, as it fits more to the line.

i might try to do some scribbles on the book, though i did try that earlier when i was painting it and it looked awful :lol: (my fault though, i did a really bad job of it)
and yes ive already thought of combining the new dire wolves with rat ogre heads, made one or two posts about it on the underempire
i intend to convert the new ghouls into my army's ghouls, though i hope they're a decent unit in the new rules or else i may not use them night runners are zombies because i want to have rather diverse units of zombies containing several different types of skaven

alright, small update (no pics, sorry). after a longish period of being lazy, i finally got around to starting my nightrunners. so today, i finished under coating them, painted 10, undercoated the warlord/vampire and undercoated the Black Bell. not bad for an afternoons work :grin: (and yes Mr Fluffy the warlord does have a scythe )

It reminds me that I need to get on with my project of zombifying the opponents that Borlin the Black has defeated.

What colour scheme have you used for the rat's fur? I have some to add to my mixed regiment of raised opponents after my last battle.

just fortress grey over a black undercoat i dont really go overboard on my core :lol:

Simple, but effective - often the best way. Particularly for rank and file core troops, and even more so when looking at an army like the skaven (hundreds of the little b^&&£*s).
