thanks skaramak
thats every skaven model i have finished now, i still have to base the army though. im waiting until the new army comes out (new dire wolves and ghouls, maybe a corpse cart, got some nice conversion ideas for them, and i want to see what would be a good idea to have in the army) until i get any more :)

WOW nice painting of the bell, and great warlord
is there any chance of getting a watered down grey wash over the RO?

thanks Sid :)
the rat ogre is actually a lot darker/greyer in RL, it came out a bit too bright

right, im back after the month long school camp (well, got back a week ago actually). since ive finished all my models im going to wait for the release of the new book, then try and get the army up to 1250pts for this years conflict. currently what i need are:
25 ghouls
10 dire wolves
a corpse cart

that along with what i have already should be approixmately the right number of points, and still have models left over for raising

alright, just a quick update (no pictures as of yet :( ) i have spent all my money, and gone a fair bit into debt as well, in order to get everything i need for my 1250pt army. however, i got home and found out i'd run out of glue (except for PVA)
so today has been spent basing 60 zombies, still to paint their bases though
i also have my army list sorted out. though i personally think i might have spent too many points on characters and that 2x20 units of zombies is a bit too few
just waiting for the glue to dry and then i'll get painting

i have now finished assembling and painting my dire wolves (all but one, since i promised my sister she could paint that one). didnt have enough rat ogre heads for units of rat wolves, so instead they're just wolves led by rat wolf dire wolves.
also, the ghouls are all assembled, and all but the last 6 are converted and undercoated, as is the corpse cart. and there is also an unconverted assassin model which will be used as a second vampire
pictures of the wolves will come as soon as possible

i just used the new corpse cart model, rather than do a major conversion i only converted the rider, to make it into something like a slave cart where all the non-skaven corpses end up
but at some later date i would really like to try a skaven corpse cart

really sorry i havent been able to get pictures up, i just havent got around to taking them yet :( however, ive finished 10 of the 25 ghouls, and of the 15 remaining, 10 are more than half finished and the last 5 have just been undercoated  the assassin and corpse cart im going to try and have finished before the end of the weekend, as well as the rest of the ghouls

well, ive got the pictures of the dire wolves (well, 9 of them, my sister still hasnt painted the one i left for her <_< ) and the first 19 ghouls
hope you like them :D

They certainly look better as rat men.

Not that I don't like theman yway(2 poisined Attacks yummy).

Keep it coming!

im lking the theme and some nice painting there. those ghouls looked dipped, is this the case cause if so its saved me a test model haha?

well, the next things on the list is an assassin/vampire, and a corpse/slave cart  neither have been converted much (or in the assassins case, at all )
and the ghouls weren't dipped, just slathered in brown ink :)

I saw somebody put a direwolf head on a rat ogre body for a varghulf, which would work well for you I think. Keep it up =)

well, basing is probably going to be the same as the rest of the army (sand painted Khemri brown )
the varghulf idea is interesting, i was thinking something along the lines of a varghulf with a rat ogre head myself, but i dont know if the varghulf's head are seperate o_o might be difficult if it isnt
thanks for the comments guys :)

well, the corpse cart's finished. unfortunately pictures are unlikely to come until at least Saturday. i'll try for then, but if i dont get them up there you'll have to wait until after conflict :(

well, i went to conflict :) played 3 games, lost 2 by massacres, won one. it was pretty fun, though i enjoyed last year more. according to several of the other players i came very close to winning the players choice award, but this empire player won it instead, so it doesnt matter (a dwarf player i talked to during the voting was convinced he should win. his army was half undercoated, about 1/4 half painted with the rest actually painted. it also had 4 bolt throwers and an organ gun  he didnt see the problem )
one odd note, was that i came 13th () out of 18. not great, but i only got 6 points. the winner was a wood elf player who won every game by massacre. the other two were the dwarf player with all the siege weapons, and a beast of chaos army consisting mainly of one unit of bestigors, one beast herd, and 3 dragon ogres. i didnt get to play any of them, playing a different beasts army (got massacred), a brettonian army (massacred :)) and an empire army (got massacred).
the brettonian army was stunning, fantastically painted. i couldnt believe it didnt win players choice (i voted for it). that was the only time my terror causing scout vampire got used to its full potential. the BoC army was mostly immune to psychology thanks to marks of slaanesh, and i forgot about them being skirmishers and lost the vampire in the second turn :( the empire army had so much shooting i was afraid to move him out of cover. the only thing he ended up killing was the crew of a hellblaster volley gun (not bad i guess). however against the brets he sent almost every unit fleeing at some point in them game, one unit straight into a unit of summoned zombies at the start of the second turn  (we rapidly became convinced, after he failed almost every fear and terror test, that his army was made out of peasants masquerading as knights )
anyway, overrall it was pretty fun. i definitely am going to try and find the time to play a lot more games over the holidays

I've got no idea, sorry :( i just asked my local store manager when it was this year a few months ago, and he said sometime in April, so i went and bought a ticket (and got all the dates, infomation, etc.) last month :)

finally, finally, FINALLY! i have the pictures of the vampire and the corpse cart :D all in all, probably not worth the wait. anyway, regardless, here they are:

I intend to create a second Corpse Cart sometime soon, making use of the enormous number of spare rats from the skaven sprues. Hopefully, then I will be able to have a more fitting corpse cart for my army than the current one.
