Impressive work mate. Like the work you're doing on the skeletons in particular. Any chance of a picture of the entire army?

Cheers, Wolfie

I love the covers. I would suggest glueing the swords a bit more forward or on the hip. It would only make sense that when a warrior moved to have it to its side.

The swords and everything with these units will look great! I look forward to seeing them complete.

You should slice of a tiny bit more of the head of that skellie. -Start thinking about where the helmet ends up when there's no hair or flesh to keep it up... ( )

lol

I haven't actually cut anything away from the skull. I made the helmet hollow.

It does sit high on his head but that's because of the scale issue with the olde skeleton warriors against their living counterparts. I pushed the skull into the mold as deep as it would go and that is where it sits.

I might play around with sanding some of the skulls down in future.

Will you be adding any buckles to the belts? I think the helmet looks great. It should look alittle helter-skelter. That way they look like your swords, a bit off. They are there solely because of the magic that created them.

wow that looks like a great set of skelies
i cant wait to see them all in a unit
thanks for letting us see the moulding procress in the works because ive been wondering how to mould things

Everything you need can be found in the "look here before asking" section of the Painting and modeling section. This included the youtube videos that I learned how to mold things from.

thanks seth drallitoc ive followed a series of links and gained a basic mastery of moulding now!
finally a genuine use for youtube besides laughing at others and music vids
how are the skeletons with hats going
hehehe i just got the image of some skelies with party hats on!

The shields look like they are from the lizardmen 5th ed. As for the skeleton helmets: I would suggest finding the ones that already have the helmets on them and then just add the rope twist around it. It would save a lot of time for you. I look forward to seeing them complete. Will you be adding a flying carpet to the unit as a filler?

Dang, well at least you'll be very proficient with the turban and helmet by the time your done. Exactly how many will you be raising?

I really have no clue. I have about 63 curved swords... I don't know how many of the armoured torsos I have. I will have to have another count.

Minimum of 10. Could be as many as 40. I will have to buy more tomb king skeleton regiments if I want to increase further... Though this is not a problem as I have a tomb kings army too.

hold the presses here, you have a tomb kings army as well!

*ironlord's mind blows up as he imagines all the skeletons*

well keep up the hard work

Any tattered capes or something on his back for this project? I might even think a few gold coins they died in the desert trying to steal would look cool.
