''I got him!'' Mircea said as he walked in to the main hallway. He dumped the man in the table, both of them where smelling quite badly. ''The Werewolves and I found him trying ot flee through the sewers, he had the scent of the Ruby on him, but I did not find it when I checked him for it'' Mircea reported.

Akarin strode up to the table looking down at the form of the man. He slowly unsheathed the pitch black blade of night
"Foolish man..." he murmered.
He stood aside wondering who would question the mortal, for his part he knew Simon would know despite his efficency when it came to killing targets he was rather poor at keeping them alive long enough to answer a question...thus it would be someone else.
Glancing at Todd he remembered how the man had dismembered Karl without truely killing him so perhaps he would be a good choice.

Peter walked out into the courtyard after Jason as the doors slammed shut. The Blood Dragon looked over the assembled gets, some badly wounded as punishment for worshipping the wrong vampire.

As Jason introduced himself, some of the young vampires' jaws dropped in awe, whilst others cringed as they realised there mistakes.

"So Nightwere, I did realise that you had such a need to be adored. Surely this lot must serve some other purpose than fawning over you."

Todd noticed Akarin's brief glance at him and took this as his cue

"If there are no objections, I will take this man into my custody. Anyone?" He glanced around and faced silence. With a noncomittal grunt Mircea handed over the man to Todd who turned to head for the dungeons after asking for directions from Simon

"This is too important to be left in the hands of you Lord Todd." said Simon "You will be assisted by one of my own to represent me." he turned to the doorway "Lucius!" he called A thin cloaked figure entered the room his face obscured by a piece of cloth that covered the lower part of it. A pair of green eyes watched the council with a malevolent interest. Silently he reached into the folds of his cloak and removed a vicious looking implement which made all the vampires shudder slightly at the sight. Lucius ignored them his attention focused on the instrument twisting it into a new shape which it was plainly designed to do it was perhaps of Cathayan design. The vampires watched as he took it by the point and stuck it into the wall. He quickly removed his cloak and hung it up on the collapsible hanger and turned back to face them. "By a sheer stroke of luck Lucius was on his way here already and by this good fortune we can make use of his talents." Simon explained.

The White Wolf, Geralt of Rivia had been in Sweeney Todd's employ for some time. Thus knowing what to expect, Todd stopped well before the grilled iron gates of the torture chamber and turned to look at Geralt behind him just before he began to speak

"You know I take no pleasure from this kind of work, so I'll be off."

"Yes, I knew. I trust you can take care of yourself." It was a statement not a question; Todd knew full well that Geralt could easily handle any lesser vampires too hungry to control their thirst, and the elders knew not to touch him.

At Simon's words Todd and Lovette looked at each other. Clearly someone had never heard the phrase 'too many cooks spoil the brew'. He rubbed his eyes and sighed. It was going to be a long night

Lucius stepped over to his prisoner "Speak now and all this can be avoided." he said. Getting nothing from the prisoner he removed an evil looking implement from his pocket that made the others cringe and removed the end coming closer to the prisoner he handed it to a human servant nearby "Make notes of everything he says." Lucius ordered. The servant nodded and sitting down at a nearby desk dipped the implement into the inkwell ready to write.

Trinity saw the slip up... He was hiding something from her, something that had been spoken about that he didn’t want her to know... the only conclusion she could come to was... Her. Saul made a strange request of one of the attending humans... a glass and a knife, what was that about?

“What is it you’re not telling me? And what’s with the glass, knife thing?” Her tone was stern and demanding; she didn’t appreciate being lied to.

Saul looked down at her, shrugged and smiled, “Timing.” He said simply. He got up and walked across to one of the tall wardrobes... Simon might be blonde but he’s got taste. He opened it and took out an elegant night-gown, turned and threw it at Trinity.

“It’s disposable.” He spoke in response to her raised eyebrows... she thought she understood now what was going on. Trinity turned her head sideways to see the servant reappear with a crystal goblet and a long knife...

“You might want to get changed; mealtimes can be a bit... messy.” Saul smirked broadly at the end, before turning away to concentrate on the glass and knife... giving Trinity a little bit of privacy; he ordered the servants to wait outside; to his surprise he didn’t feel guilty about what would happen the next time they entered the room.

He picked the knife up; trying not to think about the changing Trinity behind him.. trying and failing. He pushed the tip of the blade into the palm of his hand and slashed downwards in a single fluid movement; allowing the sanguine fluid to flow into the crystal goblet... it was easier this way. Putting the knife down, Saul ran a finger over the open wound; murmuring ancient words as he did so... the wound knitted itself back together; sort of, it now resembled a days old injury rather than perfect flesh. He sighed; he really was going to have to practise more.

Thoughts of practising magic were interrupted by a warm hand running down his back.. he shivered, but not for cold. He spun around catching Trinity’s arm at the wrist.. just as well he didn’t need to breathe any more otherwise he wouldn’t have any left.

“You sure you’re ready for this?” He picked up the crystal goblet and offered it to Trinity; who only nodded in response to his question. She took the goblet from his and stared at its crimson contents.

“Well then I guess I’ll see you on the other side..” He didn’t really want to watch the ‘turning’, it was never that pleasant to watch and it would only bring back painful memories, so he crossed the room and exited; closing the door behind him. The human servants in the hallway looked at him expectantly but he signalled for them to stay where they were.. and stay silent.

***

A full twenty minutes past.. and still the attendant humans stood as motionless as it is humanly possible; Saul was beginning to wonder whether they had been lobotomised or something, they certainly aren’t wholly human. The hallway was well kept, it had a regal kind of feel to it but it wasn’t decedent.. still, he felt uncomfortable being here, there was too much stone for him to feel at home.

Eventually signs of (un)life began to surface from the room.. a low guttural growl indicated that the new Trinity had awoken and the beast within was in need of nourishment. The sound brought a smile to Saul’s lips as he spun around to address the unfortunate humans.. they may have been trained to allow themselves to be fed upon but he doubted they’d been trained for this. He chuckled lightly as he imagined their fate..

“The Lady is in need of your... ‘assistance’.” He gestured to the door.. “If you’d be so kind..”

Saul watched as they entered the room, with total apathy; serves them right for being so docile. He leaned up against the wall facing the door and began to count in his head..

One..

Two..

Thr... Then the screaming began.

Lesa laughed quietly as Vekarin spoke to the creature, garnering a raised eyebrow from Helena and glare from the Blood Dragon.

"Of course he does not like us, is your memory so short?" she said, "this is the beast that attacked us on the battlefield. Albeit he seems to have misplaced the potent items he had on his person, but he is no doubt the creature that challenged you Vekarin." Leaning forward she scrutinised the lizard more closely,
"Whatever his purpose, all his magical artefacts were enchanted to function in some way against us, I recall that much. I would therefore presume that he is perhaps a hunter of the dead?"

"Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?" Lesa said as she straightened up, a wry smile on her face, "and I thought we were beyond such things. Tell me, you seemed angry when you saw the creature in there, and you know of their language. When you did encounter them? Did you also meet the fabled magi - the Slann?"

At Graveclaw's comment she shook her head,
"Graveclaw, you know we can't do that, we need them and they are after all my family by marriage. It strikes me that you have never really told us why you hate their bloodline so........."

Graveclaw looked at Lesa "It isssss not the dead's place to rule over the living Lesssa" Graveclaw rumbled "Humanity, hasss enough to worry about with the Greensssskinsss and Chaossssss without the dead turning upon them"

Vekarin turned to Lesa, his eyes flaring at her questions and the smile on her face.
"You forget, young one, that I have existed on this world for many thousands of years more than you. One cannot open the book of unlife to the center and expect to comprehend. The Slann are powerful, and their servant's presence here is not to be taken lightly. You can rest assured that if they have sent their warriors here, there is a purpose, and one that we would to well to appreciate."

Victarias struck faster than a serpent, each blow a blur that the Duke deflected at the last moment. He had to admit that when it came to pure speed she seemed to have the slight edge, but that made the challenge all the more interesting.

"I have no doubt that you could best any man, though perhaps you have an unfair advantage," he said as he parried another blow, before he suddenly thrust. As anticipated she blocked and moved her body, allowing him to step forward, running this blade down the length of hers and locking the swords together. There was more that one way to win a fight, and whilst she may have been faster with the blade, he knew he was much stronger. Slowly he power began to tell as he pushed her sword back against her.

"How so?" she said, straining against him. The Duke moved in as he pressed his advantage, the smell of Victarias filling his head as they grew closer.
"It would be hard for any man not be distracted when presented with perfection.........."

There was blood everywhere.. and by everywhere, Saul meant everywhere. Trinity had managed to get blood all over the floor, as well as on the walls, on the door, on the curtains, on the tables, on the wardrobes, on the bed sheets, on herself and strangely; she’d even managed to get blood on the ceiling.. What the hell? There were body parts everywhere as well... Saul brought his vision down away from the blood-splattered ceiling to look at the dismembered corpses of the servants on the floor.. if the word ‘corpse’ could be applied at all; the word ‘mess’ would be more appropriate. Damn, she’s done a good job of these two..

He was slightly shocked; he knew from experience that new-born vampires were a bit voracious in their eating habits but he hadn’t anticipated that she’d feel the need to redecorate the room as well.. not in the ensanguined fashion anyway. He let out a nervous chuckle..

“Interior design really isn’t your forte is it?”

The beautiful creature in front of him didn’t reply.. not verbally at least; she just growled at him. From her grouched stance, crimson eyes gazed at him intently with animalistic intelligence; the beast within begging to be satisfied.

“Are you done?” Saul gestured to one of the corpses.. she’d need to feed again pretty soon.

Trinity shook her head, a predatory look creeping across her face as she rose gracefully into a standing posture. Saul thought she looked pretty hot like that.. even draped in a bloodstained nightgown. Focus, focus.. now is not the time to think about that.. Saul screwed his hands into fists to stop them from reaching out; not that it’d make much difference as Trinity approached in languid, elegant steps.. she always has to make things more difficult. The beast within him practically purred as his self-control was stretched to breaking point.

She traced his jaw-line with an ashen finger, the hunger evident in her eyes.. the thin threads of resistance in Saul’s mind were being cut one by one. It had been a long time since he had been concerned by temperatures but he definitely noticed that it was rising in the room.. or was it just him? and there was so little space between them that there was nowhere for Saul to put his hands now, except onto Trinity... as if the air around them wasn’t charged enough.

So close now that he could count the number of eyelashes she had...

Jason looked to peter "I do not relish in being adored or worshiped young peter, there is a reason why I leave Harrindir to attend to the matters of my house, and yes I brourght this lot foward form the mansion because we could use there help in the times ahead, many of the other councils gets were unfortunatly killed during the war with the dreadlords and these..." he turned an aggrivated glance to the gathering vampires.
"Vampires may be of use to me and the council althrough they sorely lack the skills required to be much use in combat... Perhaps you may be able to assist me with that?" he grinned as Peter caught on to what Jason wanted
"you want me to train them?" Peter said surprised at Jason's request.

(OCC: Posting on the go sorry bout quality.)

Victarias felt the Duke's strength telling against her own muscles. Once she might have been strong enough to stay his blade, but that was long ago. A single defeat had taken so much from her, all those years ago.
Her fight now was bringing it all back, however.
Her lessons ran back to her, the skills that she had learned long ago rushing back as memories, one at a time. She remembered her training in the halls of Neferata's handmaidens, to use her very body as a weapon when her others were compromised.
Stepping forward, Victarias' leg wrapped about the Duke's for a moment, pulling unbalancing his weight. The Duke's push worked against him, his center of gravity shifting faster than he could recover. As he fell, Victarias pulled her blade away, stepping backwards quickly to avoid his rapidly descending mass.
"Then it appears you also have an advantage, good Duke." Victarias told the prone figure, "you are superior when it comes to flattery."

‘’Humanity is nothing but fodder. The have taken much from me and given little in return’.’ Walach said as he stepped down the stairs into the dungeon, he had come here to inform them that the thief had been found and had heard the last bits of Lesa’s conversation.

‘’I’ve lost count of how many human trash I’ve killed over the countless centuries, only a rare few of them has a warriors spirit.’’ Walach said. He turned towards Lesa and walked forward. He was pleased to see her lucid.

‘’I apologize, but I don’t think we have been formally introduced, my name is Walach Harkon.’’ he took her hand and kissed it formally, like a courtly knight.

***

Mircea put back on his armor and fasted the claps of his wolfskin cape, he had just finished washing himself with rose water to get rid of the sewer smell. He toweled off and dressed. Quickly he turned back and walked towards the rest of the Council was.

The wagon creaked and jumped as it moved over the cobblestones of the small town near Nexeternus. The town was unsettlingly quiet, the usual sounds of human life where much lower in volume, almost as if they where wary of drawing to much attention to themselves...
The werewolves knew this to be the work of the nearby Vampire fortress, but the three of them didn't speak much either, the oppressive atmosphere engulfing them.

The three of them where hungry...They hadn't eaten much on the way to Nexeternus, and the dark cravings for human flesh where pulling at their guts. They needed to feed.
Müller pulled the reigns on the cart and ask one of the townsfolk directions to the closest pub or inn. The man looked curiously at the trio, but didn't ask any questions as he directed them.
"This is unnatural." said Völundr in general about the place.
"Can you smell it?" said Hati, taking a long smell of the air for emphasis. "Fear, dread...hopelessness..."
"Behold the world under the thrall of the Vampire." Said Müller sarcastically. "They drain more than blood from the mortal world."
"Are we any better?" said Völundr.
"No." Agreed Müller "But we are different."
He stopped the Wagon at the Inn and tied the horse securely.
"Right, we meet back here at dark?"
Said Müller, and the other two nodded.
"Good hunting."

Völundr gripped the hammer at his side nervously, glaceing at the people around him. He was soooo hungry, and their flesh tempted him. His mouth began to salivate as the smell of ripe human flesh filled his senses.
He shook it off.
He had never been able to fully justify the craving for human flesh he felt, the curse of his condition. At times he could still see their faces when he slept...the faces of those he had devoured.
Müller had once joked that the reason he slept so much was because he was trying to make piece with his victims. Perhaps he was right. All Völundr knew was that he had to eat soon or risk going into the berserk frenzy of starvation.

He moved toward the poorer district of the town, watching as the people became more and more...unwholesome. This would be his banquet, a cornucopia of the dregs of humanity, from which he would lose little sleep from devouring.
Völundr noticed two men standing outside an alleyway and stopped to observe. He could tell that some sort of transaction was going on. He sniffed the air and the smell of various narcotics filled his nostrils. He watched as the man buying placed the wrapped up substances in a pocket and walked off.
Now or never.

Völundr started walking casually towards the Dealer, glaceing up the street. To many people.
"Hey, I hear your the man to talk to about some Weird Root?" said Völundr, making sure to keep his hands out of his pockets and away from his hammer.
"Tha's right, how much you need?" Said the Dealer, casting a wary glance at Völundr.
"I'll take it all." He said, slapping a hand on his pocket for the Dealer to hear the sound of coins rattling. "But why don't we take it in there?" He pointed inside the alleyway.
"Sure, but you better be good for it." Said the Dealer, turning his back on Völundr for an instant and taking a step into the darkness.
That was all the opening he needed.

With one quick motion Völundr stabbed a knife into the back of the mans neck, just bellow the skull. It was instant death, a mercy killing he had practiced before.
He dragged the body back farther into the alleyway, and ripped the shirt off. With one deft stroke he oppened the mans stomach and started peeling strips of flesh, taking the still warm and wet meat in his mouth. The hunger was on him now and he dropped the knife, reaching into the body cavity with his hands he started to remove whole organs and devour them, staining his mouth red.

A small sound interrupted his feeding frenzy, brought him back to earth. He turned and looked into the darkness of the alleyway to his right.
Cringing against the wall, was a small child. Dressed in filthy clothes, a look of horror was plastered across its dirty face.
The eyes...those horror struck eyes. The same eyes Völundr had seen countless times before in his victims.

The werewolf grabbed the mans torn clothes and wiped the blood from his hands and mouth. He stood and walked from the alleyway, another pair of eyes burned into his conscience....

"Please boys, please! One at a time!" said Hati, giggling. She sat on a bench on the sidewalk of the street, a group of men standing around her.
Sitting alone, she had easily been able to attract a group of admirers. Several where older gentlemen, bearing obvious artifacts of wealth, while others where younger but poorer.
"Ah, but milady, you must accompany me to the theater! I promise it shall be an unforgettable experience."
Said one of the older gentlemen, his suave mustache quivering. Not to be outdone, the other men began clambering for her attention, promising gifts and undying affections.
So easy... she thought No matter how many centuries go by, men are always the same, so easily swayed by a pretty face and the bat of an eyelash. Once you learn the ways to hunt them it becomes...pathetic...
It was then that she caught sight of the most beautiful person standing across the street.

It was a young woman, finely dressed with long dark hair and piercing blue eyes. She stood alone, looking rather bored. Hati smiled to herself.
Yes...women...much more challenging prey.
"If you'll excuse me gentlemen, I must go and meet my husband before he begins to fret to much." She said before standing and walking away.
As expected, that was more than enough to disperse the gaggle of suitors. Typical.

She didnt go strait across to the woman, instead she moved down the street and then crossed it, coming up from behind her. Going directly for her would have been a mistake only a new hunter would make. Hati had more than enough experience to know how to woe other women...

First, to get her attention.
She bumped slightly into the woman, faking a slip on the cobblestones.
"Oh, please excuse me madam, I'm terribly sorry!" She said, watching her tone of voice to ensure it was completely believable.
"Oh no, that's quite alright, these streets can become quite slick."
And now the crucial moment, that first glance that will steal them away. Time to turn on the charms...
And Hati turned on the charms, that almost irresistible allure and charm she possessed. It was the built up experience of hundreds of years of hunting for prey by seduction, and she had refined it into an art.
The glance of an eye, a slight of posture, leaning forward just enough, the tone of her voice, all these where weapons in her vast arsenal.
"Oh no, it most certainly is not alright! I must make it up to you madam!" She said.
The woman looked at her, and with that look, Hati knew she had her in her power now.
"I know a perfect little place, at least let me buy you a cup of tea for recompense madam!" said Hati.
"Well...I suppose." said the woman.
Got you.

They walked together to the tea shop, and after a few more deft words from Hati they where chatting like they had been friends for years. The woman's name was Eleonore Dieter and she was the daughter of one of the local merchants. She had simply been wasting time looking for something to do when Hati had found her.
The two sat outside drinking tea for awhile, still talking. Hati was finding it more and more boring, but patience was a skill every hunter learned eventually and she had long ago mastered it. Haste could and would ruin everything.
Finally, the opportunity came.
"My this heat is almost unbearable." said Eleonore, waving herself with one of those collapsible fans the nobility where wont to use.
"Well, I know the perfect place for a swim, its a lake not far at all from here, perfectly secluded."
Said Hati, again tapping into that near preternatural skill and experience.
Perfectly secluded....

"Your quite sure its alright?" ask Eleonore, casting a wary glance around the trees surrounding the lake.
"Oh yes, its quite fine. I come her often and never see anyone around." Said Hati, already undressing.
"Well, if you say so." Said Eleonore.
Hati moved slowly into the lake, enjoying the cool water. She turned back to look at Eleonore as she heard splashing.
She couldn't help but lick her lips as she observed her nude form.
Positively...delicious...

Eleonore, for her part starred at Hati's chest. Slightly confused at her staring, Hati cast a glance at her own chest.
"What is it?" she ask Eleonore.
"Those..." She said tentatively, blushing as she pointed.
Hati laughed in realization. Both of her nipples where pierced with studs in the shape of crescent moons. She had to keep them in or the skin would heal itself
"Oh yes, what about them?"
"They must have hurt terribly..." said Eleonore.
"Not really, its common in Norsca."

The two girls lay on the soft grass letting the sun dry them.
"You know, I think we're going to be great friends." Said Eleonore.
Hati propped herself up on one arm and ran the other one through Eleonore's hair.
She let her charm drop, and a glimmer of her intentions pass through her eyes.
This is it...the moment where they realize...so succulent.
"Yes...we could have made good friends..."

Before Eleonore had time to say anything more Hati's jaws closed around her throat.
Her corpse would remain unidentified, even her gender unknown from the damage the Werewolf inflected on her body.
"Eleonore, O' Eleonore, how sweat though art Eleonore." Said Hati, tearing into her heart.

Müller smelt the air.
Blood, piss, fear, excitement, and anger.
He listened to the wind.
Dogs barking, men shouting.

He had been following his leads for awhile now, and he could tell he was close. He was in the shit-district (as he liked to call it) of the town, where all the riffraff made their dens. He had been wandering the maze of alleyways and street corners, searching for the place he knew every town harbored.
As he passed another alleyway, he found what he was looking for.

Men where crowded around in a circle, yelling and waving bags of coins. Several had large dogs held on thick chains, they stood outside the group. Others had bats, clubs and more chains.

As Müller walked towards them, the men let out a huge cheer, while some made sounds of distress. The circle parted and he could see a dog, covered in blood being dragged out of the circle.
The cent of blood, fear and anger was overwhelming his senses, hazing his mind.
The men dragged the beaten animal away from the dog ring and brought out a large club.
The sound of the beaten dog's skull being smashed cut through Müller's haze like a razorblades through paper.
His pulse quickened and his teeth clenched.
The sounds of more dogs mauling each other and the men cheering them on was drowned out, until another defeated and bloodied animal was dragged from the death-pit.
"Damn useless mut!"
Said its owner, kicking the animal and dragging it back through the alley towards Müller.

The werewolf reached out a hand and grasped the man by the shoulder.
"Ge'of-AH!"
He cried as Müller's iron strong grip tightened.
The next moment the man was soaring through the air and smashed into the crowd of people around the fighting ring. They all turned to look at Müller.
The werewolf grinned like a maniac and let out a harsh barking laughter.
The dogs cringed at the sound.
"Whats the matter you bastards? Did I interrupt your little party?"
Müller's body was starting to grow, the his hair lengthening and getting thicker, his shadow expanding and his clothes starting to tear.
"Now its your turn to fight."
Müller painted the alley red with blood.

The three werewolves, their stomachs full, stopped the cart on the way back to Nexeternus beside the road. The evening was warm and they struggled to stay awake for awhile before finally succumbing. They lay dozing in the cart.
Völundr shifted in his sleep, his dreams full of the accusatory stares of horror struck eyes.
Hati dreamed of Eleonore, her tongue caressing her body and exploring her orifices to moans of approval.
Müller ran through his dream-land on four legs, chasing herds of deer across vast planes. He stopped and howled into the wind, the echoes of his Pack answering him.

The Sound of bones Cracking filled the air as Graveclaw's fists clenched tightly. “Graveclaw isss gonna.....gonna.......gonna” the Strigori's bellow of rage broke off into a gargled slur. Lesa look in shock at Helena whom had one of her hands inside Graveclaws skull.

Todd strode up to a nearby fireplace and from it withdrew a poker that gleamed red-hot in the darkness. Tool in hand, he strode up to the prisoner and bent down so that he could whisper conspiratorially into his victim's ear

"Where did you bring the stolen item to?" He spoke, but once again the prisoner ignored the question and stared at the ceiling.

"Very well then...you know, I could have my friend sound out your mind with magic" Todd gestured at Mrs. Lovette as he whispered into his ear

"But I'm not going to do that, because I'll enjoy hearing you scream." And with that Todd slid the poker slowly upwards, starting from the penis and ending just below the diaphragm. He howled in pain, causing Todd to leer in joy. Turning away for a moment, he took an odd segmented metal glove that had needles at the end of each digit from Toby. He returned to the prisoner and began to slap him randomly with the poker, humming to himself while at the same time he put on the glove.

The Saurus speaking Vampire garbled, followed by the Garbling of the other ones. Huakroataxa watched with uncaring eyes, till the Saurus speaker spoke once more.
"As one, want kill, stronger evil, cloaks manies evil. Kill attack shadow-fear power Nagash Obsidian Undead Lord. Maybe say, maybe you kill want kill undead, he very big attack."

Huakroataxa was stunned. A vampire asking the assistance? The arrogant rat-mucus asked for assistance? He crooned at the back of his neck, a noise none of them would ever associate with laughing.

"The hunter of the dead hunting the lord of undead alongside the dead? The dream itself is pure fiction."

He stretched out his limbs, and pondered. Yes, it was his duty to exterminate these abominations, and one day he would, but at the present that was impossible. If they were going to attack Nagash, well, humans werent built for intelectual capasity, and death hardly helped that. Huakroataxa knew that opposing Nagash would lead to nothing but death; oh, he knew of the lord of the dead, learnt all the prophesies associated with him by heart, heard tranlations from Eddi-Izard from human, elven and dwarf loremasters, as well as transcripts of the heiroglyphs of Khemri. Truly, Nagash was a brutal, unnatural tyrant. All Huakroataxa could expect by facing him was a short, glorious death.

But, if he opposed the vampires all that would result was a long, agonising, humilating death. It jarred him, and the frustration came through, across specie boundaries as well, but eventually he was forced to relent.

"Where the dead rise, there I shall be. You are the enemies of my heart, whose flesh i long to taste, who's skull I wish to place in the alcoves of the temples. But you are right; Nagash is the origin and master of the dead. Your kind fighting him amuses me, and since no other choice is available...I accept a temporary alliance. BUT," He added
"If you wish to keep your neck unrung, leave me trapped thus. I cannot guarantee total self control if i am released umonst you."

OOC, if this is going where i think its going, would it be wise for me to change my post in the supplementary archives?[/align]

-"I'm sorry for doing this, Graveclaw, but there's really no more time that can be wasted by continuing the animosity within the Council.", said Helena with a calm voice. She then withdrew her hand from Graveclaw's temple and ended the imposing of her own will upon his which would leave the Strigoi briefly disoriented. Helena then continued,

-"As much as I'm sure it plagues us all, we most certainly need the von Carsteins in these final stages of the struggle against Nagash. Just be patient and play along Graveclaw, there will surely be more than enough time for you to spend by antagonizing whomever you feel like once the Council has fulfilled its purpose."

She then looked towards Huakroataxa in the cell - whatever Vekarin had said next had apparently sparked much emotion in the cold-blooded creature but the alien mind at work inside the lizardman made it impossible for the inexperienced to glean anything more than that from merely looking.
