fair enough but to me it seams to be dragging just a little. I don't wish to hurry the final battle and not have it as good as it could be but I would like more conversation and discussion.

Only in the day, yes; buts that to stop the daylight touching them. So the stable arent Ideal. Next time make him sleep in a room with the curtains drawn.

It's not exactly sleep, they go into a slumber usually in their coffin's to rejuvenate their energies, probably in a the same coffin they've always used.
But really it doesn't matter
You could say it was day and that since there was no coffin around he just fell into his slumber where he was since I believe the slumber is unresistable.
