You must realise that asking "is he gonna be in the sequel" is possibly the most unfair question possible to have answered (for the exsting roleplayers), when FINALLY we're at the final battle, and only DoN and a select few know what's going to happen? Even then I doubt DoN would reveal all the details to those select few, so really it will be a surprise for everybody involved.

I'm just saying, the question can't really be answered until the battle ends. If DoN came on and said "yeah he dies" then all the suspense in this battle (let alone much of the entire TVC) would be brutally killed.

I don't mean to rant, but you can't seriously expect an answer to the Nagash question until it happens in the roleplay.

*Arrives a hot and sweaty*

Wow Vekky.....those were some intense PM's :perv:

I think we're about ready to rock'n'roll.

Simon - are you still around? Between you and Trevy I want to check some things to do with the sequel.

There is going to be a sequel. The main plotline has already been thought of, and I hope you guys are seriously thinking of your own character's plotlines.

Hehe, only being doing that since I joined the forum two years ago :)

Are the characters from this roleplay going to appear in the next one?

I know that most people in the roleplay are against Nagash, but can you be on the other side (i.e. the side against the council) in the next roleplay? This could be put into action via someone who betrays the council.

To the first question, simply put, yes. I know that my character, at least, will carry on, and Get of Ws'oran will make Nekhlior carry on too if he knows what's good for him. (Kraskor needs to learn magic, darnit!)

As for being on the other side, I don't know, but it makes roleplaying much, much more difficult if too many things are happening in different places at once. Possible, I suppose, but complicated.

I will be posting up something shortly in regards to the sequel, that will answer all questions. I am have started going over the main plotline today and will be checking some parts with Simon and Vekk-Trevy :swear:

One of the main things to make the sequel as good as the original, people should think of their own characters plotlines. The TVC is really different, as not only are you following a story laid out by me (and in the sequel Simon and Trevy), but it is hoped you will think of a side plot for your own character. This can be from a romance (like Lesa & V'azrin) to gaining domination (like Simon).

The main rules when it comes to plotlines are:
- If it conflicts with the main plot I won't allow it, but will suggest as alternative
- If it is ridiculous and really against existing fluff I will say no, but will suggest as alternative.
- No godlike abilities or powers....I may consider something if it happens right at the end of the RP, like in the Epilogues.
- First come first serve. Two players can't have a side plot where the arch-enemy of Neferata and plot to kill her.

The earlier you PM me the better, as your plotline can really be meshed into the main plot, instead of it just being tacked on.

So that gives you some idea, but as I said more info, including available races and characters will follow.

I know that, because of school pressures, I'll be far too tired to think up my own plot. I'll likely just be a wildcard - a chaotic neutral if you will.
But I can change if this is counter productive to what you have in mind. I haven't read the current TVC, so I wouldn't know.

When you say 'side plot' because that is quite general and could include any number of things. I'm just trying to gauge an idea of what is allowed so I can start thinking

Many characters may not carry on as I believe DoN still wants to take the general powerlevel down a peg.

I know Karl will be about (although he'll be busy in Sylvania) and Nekhlior will be about as Kraskor's master (vampiric apprenticeships do last awhile, especially when one's teacher is as scatter brained as Nekhlior).

Also other side players is possible, we had one or two in this rp.
My old Necrarch V'azrin was working for the Council whilst actually serving Nagash, he betrayed then in "The Scribe" chapter and took control of the von Carsteins via magic until he got wtfpwned by Lesa.

So basically lotsa possibilities.

wtfpwned by Lesa.

You mean in our super saiyan battle? That was cool xd If I recall V'azrin technically won, but he couldn't kill Lesa because he loved her....and then made the mistake of turning his back on her....BAM!

That whole side plot was and still is my favourite, just because it took about 2 years to work through to an epic finish xd

To clarify on side plots, pretty much anything is ok, here are some examples of what happened in this TVC:

- V'azrin being a traitor who turns Milosh (who remembers good old Milosh?) into a Dreadlord, but ultimately fails due to falling in love with Lesa.
- Simon conquering the Border Princes and resurrecting Vlad von Carstein
- Trevy's/Vekky's travelling to Morr's Realm to rescue Victarias.
- Mine and Trevy's plot of the love twist between the Red Duke and Victarias, the sibling rivalry between Vekarin and the Red Duke, all of which ultimately lead to the Red Duke's death.
- Rowhaine being cured of vampirism and turned into the Avatar of Asaph, who then goes on to unit the Tomb Kings, remaking the covenant with the Nehekharan gods.

So yeah big and small plotlines.xd

OK, that gives me some ideas. I'll start brainstorming tomorrow at college, and hopefully I'll have some ideas to propose to you tomorrow evening :)

Will you be wanting PMs concerning side-plots fairly soon (as in now-ish), DoN, or not until after we finally put the Nagash battle to rest?

G of W: we have much to discuss. :devil2:

Hope it's a good ending! One of my character plans may change majorly depending on the ending. I hope that Nagash isn't poned games workshop style (if he's poned at all!) in the TVC. There could at least be a massive explosion or something if he dies-Games Workshop always make his deaths look like epic fails.
