Perhaps if you posted it might not be dead? The Carsteins have posted.

But overall, it looks like this roleplay is in it’s death throes. We’ve been waiting for DoN to respond, Lord of the Ravens has not shown up in over two months and the repeated attempts to inject this roleplay with life have failed.

Shame too. It was so close to the end.

Indeed so close!

I think Nagash and his dreadlords need to do something for the story to progress though.
Still the council could perhaps rp amongst themselves to flesh things out until that happens? Although I think the Carsteins have went as far as is possible without directly intervening in the duel between Nagash and Vashanesh (as far as I remember that's what we're all currently on our way to do).

Well, I've put my foot down and posted for once. Though I'm not exactly sure how to proceed with the plans I made together with Lord of Ravens due to his absence.

Well I’ve pretty much done all I can within the confines of the plot.

The main problems as I can identify them seem to be DoN’s silence and LoR’s absence. Todd you may have to take over his role, or we at least need somebody to roleplay Peter sine he is an integral part of defeating a Dreadlord.

We've got plenty of plots going on with all the fights (currently Nagash vs von Carsteins and the Dread/Dark Lord fights). The only problem is people arn't present to continue those fights.

The actual structure of the RP and the current story is sound, it's just inactive at the moment :) I'm sure it'll pick up when the rpers return.

Todd was to fight the Judge and the Peter was to fight the Guilt. The Executioner was set to be killed by Vekarin or Abhorash.

At this point I’m simply waiting for DoN as I’ve done all I can with Mircea.

I happen to be controlling the Guilt as well. However both Peter and whoever is controlling the Judge seem to be absent, so I can go no further in both regards.

You control the Guilt while he controls the Judge? No wonder those fights lagged behind the rest of the plot. I’ve checked his profile and LoR has not logged in for over two months now. I’m think it’s safe to say he is not involved with us anymore.

The only solutions I can see is all of us agreeing for someone to take over Peter’s character and the Dreadlord fights.

I suggest you control the Judge and finish the fight with your character Todd while someone else controls Peter and the Guilt. Right now we are an impasse. Without LoR we can’t conduct your Dreadlord fight and we can’t conduct his.

DoN has also proved to be distressingly silent.

Lets not start panicking. After all this isn't the first time members have vanished. GoW himself vanished for the best part of a year due to problems his end and we should remember that it is christmas and that there is a lot going on for everyone in RL.

Not exactly panicking here, but as I understand it GoW talked it over with DoN and he took over his characters so the overall plot would not be slowed down. It’s not the first time members have vanished, but usually we could put them to the side, unfortunately LoR is heavily involved with two Dreadlord fights and a good part of the roleplay plot is tied down with those fights.

I’ll wait for DoN to make the final decision, if he responds that is.

Our beloved DoN hath returneth, so hopefully the poor TVC will shuffle into its coffin and have a proper burial soon enough, rather than flail weakly next to the headstone. :clown:

Thanks guys, I couldn't remember what was up with the Dreadlords.

And Simon's right, sometimes RL gets in the way, Peter may show up at an time.
I doubt the RP will fade away, it's likely just temporarily stalled atm.

As for LoR's stuff DoN can always make a judgement on that when he has time to post.

Darvy is right - I haveth returned, and this time for good xd Real life has been fixed - huzzah!

I am going to catch up and post, and then I can see where things stand.

I know this is cheeky asking as I have only just returned - but who is actually here? It would be great if we could wrap this up by the release of the new book.

With the influx of new members we should then be able to start the sequel with a bang - say on the 1st Feb to give all those who need it a break?

What say you all - yay / nay?

I'm here; lucky you returned to continue the plot as I was on the verge of dive-bombing Kraskor into the Vlad/Nagash duel, which would not have been pretty. :clown:

A little pause for the new book would be great, and would certainly rekindle the creative passion. Somehow new RPs always take off better than even the most epic of roleplays land (or rather, in the case of TVC, experience violent turbulence and finally putter an die on the runway).

So I guess I say "yay".

OK, I have posted.

As previously discussed with respective players, Vlad is now out of action - time for the other Carstein boys to step in (ONLY the Carstein boys).

Are there any other roles I need to progress?

I would like to bring attention Lord of the Ravens and the Dreadlords. He has not responded in over two months and we need him for each Dreadlord fight.

Oh, question, before I post do we describe Nagash cutting down our characters or do we leave that up to you?

As soon as that's answered I will get posting quickly.
