RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Well Abhorash, you might want to tone him down, he basically sounds like he could take on Ulthuan by himself and not break a sweat. This is a common mistake for people relatively new and/or inexperienced with RPing, so it's not that bad though. You wrote extensively enough, perhaps a little improvement could be useful, but it's fine. And besides, character's identities tend to get revealed with the RP rather than the bio-thread. Tone him down and you're good to go, but you need a good reason to fight with or against the Council. It's up to you really, but you'll need a good one. You don't need an extremely good one, but no ''Because I happened to be there at the right time'' justifications.

I've finally got around to updating my severely outdated character bio.

Magneqrox

Age: 804
Sire: Unknown
Origin: Norsca
Height: Approximately 3 and a half metres.
Weight: Approximately 235 kg.

Magneqrox was not always a humanoid dragon. He was transmogrified into one when he as an adventurer, managed to defeat a Chaos Dragon by impaling its head with a nearby stack of very heavy spears and consume its essence through the use of a magical device, received at the spot from Tzeentch. From this point on he was counseled by an unknown entity, most likely another Dragon who had gone beneath the surface, too weak to rise above ground yet with immense mental capabilities. Little did he know that Tzeentch had planned for this all along - however, he did not have bad plans in mind, he merely wished to see the results of fusing a Chaos Dragon with a human being. Deciding that the result was not worth the sacrifice, Magneqrox has remained the only one of his kind. Under normal circumstances, he would not have been able to defeat the Chaos Dragon, but Tzeentch was on his side that day.

I want to make it clear that Magneqrox is not a very powerful Vampire. He's nasty, yes - but he has weak spots and he's not a complete slaughtermachine.

Traits:

Good

- Decisive. Magneqrox can act and take decisions quickly.
- Resourceful. He's not the mightiest, eldest or magically advanced Vampire there is, but he is good at turning much into little and generally going against the odds in difficult situations.
- Clever. Magneqrox is rather clever, but not astoundingly so.
- Fire resistant. This is exactly what it sounds like.
- Strength. Magneqrox is physically a bit stronger than an Ogre Tyrant. But he is not very tough, nor is he very dexterous.

Bad

- Passionate. Magneqrox is rather passionate about things, and this can take its toll when he becomes overly enthusiastic, sometimes putting him in extremely dangerous situations.
- Shoddy magic user. Magneqrox can control a moderate amount of Undead creatures, easily summon his own weapon from the Realm of Chaos and knows all the spells in the Lore of Fire, but he's still pretty much mediocre and prefers relying on his other capabilities.
- Vulnerable to magic. Magneqrox is rather vulnerable to magic in general, but cannot be harmed by spells that are fiery in nature.
- Rather proud. Magneqrox is proud, but not arrogant. He knows that he is however, and tries to keep this from influencing his decisions.

Battle Style & Abilities

Magneqrox fights dirty. Concepts such as honor and fairness are relatively alien to him. However, he will give opponents he has taken a liking to the chance to fight back before they die, should such a situation arise.

He likes using fast, unpredictable flurries of blows as to unsettle and debase the enemy. He likes pretending to be struggling in order to make the enemy overconfident, thinking he's just a big pushover. When the perfect moment comes, Magneqrox will launch a successive flurry and not stop until he has to or the enemy is defeated.

Against magic users, he will simply rush them as fast as he can carry himself and attack at every moment. His thinking is that an effective offense will prevent them from having their own offense, thus rendering his weakness to magic irrelevant.

Magneqrox is vulnerable to agile, quick movement and cannot effectively command, unless he manages to think of something, thus his resourceful and clever nature coming into play. However, he excels against heavy targets. Bulky warriors in their tough suits of armour and carrying their big weaponry will be challenged against Magneqrox - especially if Magneqrox has fought the opponent before.

He has three abilities.

Metamorph - This requires Magneqrox to use Phantasmagoria and stick out his own heart, then eat it. His heart socket will be visibly empty, a red mist forms around him, he grows wings, attains a much more demonic and draconic look, increases in size and can read his enemy's mind as long as he can see the enemy. His resistance to physical attacks also increases, but he becomes extremely weak to magic. In this state, even the simplest spell cast by a Lvl 1 Apprentice Wizard is likely to rip a hole into him. However, this is not very easy to do since he can read his enemy's mind. This form lasts for 24 hours.

Own Grave - The more determined the enemy is to defeat Magneqrox, the more their actions are disrupted. A calm, calculated approach to fighting Magneqrox will completely nullify this effect but passion-driven, psychotic berserkers will barely be able to walk in a straight line. However, the more determined Magneqrox is, the more of the effects on the enemy's mind will be negated.

Summon Phantasmagoria - This summons Phantasmagoria. Phantasmagoria is an oddly shaped, barbed, long and very thick sword crafted from a glowing white material which is of unknown origin. It would have the shape of a long and very thick sword if it had not had three curves, though all in a straight line, making it look somewhat like a snake. It drips with blue flame and will eventually drive anyone who wields it except Magneqrox insane. Magneqrox was at a point able to negate its effects on him, but it has taken a slight toll on him still. The sword is in fact organic and has all five senses - further causing confusion regarding its origin. It is in truth a powerful Familiar that can metamorph into that of a Sword - that of Phantasmagoria.

Breath Fire - Magneqrox can breath blue fire (has a connection to Tzeentch) from his mouth. He greatly enjoys and excels in using this ability, incorporating it into his battle style.

Appearance

Magneqrox looks like a humanoid Dragon without wings. He is almost constantly grinning with his eyes raised up, giving him a laidback appearance. His tail, hands, feet, head and a path along his back are all on constant fire. He can deactivate and activate these fires with little effort. His underbelly is beige-yellow, while the rest of his body is black, with dark brown trim. His fireball-like eyes have no pupils and are yellow-orange-red in color.

Magic Items

Tomb Wrappings - He plundered these old ''clothes'' from an old tomb in the Land of the Dead. He almost died on that adventure, but eventually came out alive. It provides the wearer with a very powerful, regenerative fluid that constantly secretes from it. However, this fluid is comprised of Warpstone energy and will rapidly run dry. It can only be used for a short amount of time (~30 minutes if at maximum warpstone). It will absorb nearby warpstone into itself, but this can only happen if it is not being worn, and this most powerful yet limited item is something Magneqrox does not want to lose. As a result, he only recharges it when he knows he is in great safety. Gives a 2+ Regeneration Save for one turn per battle. In addition, on the turn this item is activated, because of Magneqrox's innate fire resistance roll a D6 for each attack - on a 2-6 the attack succeeds, but on a 1 the attack has failed to overcome Magneqrox's resistances and will be discounted.

Finelle is a dark elf and Magneqrox's wife, who got stranded near Marienburg as newborn baby, was raised by one of the richest families in Sylvania and spoiled rotten since they adopted her. Much to her rejoice (as she could now do literally whatever she wanted to), both of her parents died when she turned 15. She quickly got a taste for food and is a living personification of gluttony. She wears a highly decorated black dress. At some point, she managed to invent her own spell, which can turn anyone of lower magical power than herself into a roasted piece of meat in a dozen seconds, as long as she grasps the neck of the target. Her desire to eat and her greed is almost matched by her selfishness, except for Magneqrox. She was not satisfied with a small kingdom of subjects that she could do whatever she pleased with. For more info, I suggest reading Finelle's Diary which can be found in the Story Writing part of the forum.

I'll flesh out Finelle's bio when I've got the ache for it. :)

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Nice update Jack, I see you've upped Magneqrox's power a bit.

And Abhorash, Jack is right, that character is a but too powerful, plus you might get some competition off Vekarin who was taught and sired by Abhorash back in Lahmia, he is currently the TVC's best combat fighter.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Oh, just noticed a thing or two in the bio I have to update... thanks, and well, I didn't really want to up it that much so I guess I've succeeded then ^^

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Looking at Magneqrox's revamp made me double back and look at mine. Spotted something that was kinda unclear and since my main character is melee-oriented I may as well do a partial revamp, which includes a new section.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
-Master of razors. Slits windpipes and slices open veins almost as easily as he can breathe. His battlefield prowess with his very own pair of razors rivals the best of the Blood Knights(not including Walach himself)
-Some, but not much magical ability. Not inept, simply never underwent much training.
-Not a strategist or tactician of any notable skill. Tries to make up for it with low cunning and a knack of being in the right place at the right time, but there are times when you can't fake the real thing.

Combat Style and Abilities:

Sweeney Todd does not fight like a typical warrior, as practically all weapon masters do not teach the use of a pair of shaving razors. He uses an unorthodox mix of multiple fighting styles(including Eastern warrior-monk styles) coupled with his talent as a barber which he developed while still an ordinary man.

In battle he resembles a cross between the infamous Konrad von Carstein and a Clan Eshin Master Assassin. His style marries the strength and savagery of a bloodthirsty vampire lord with the speed and finesse of a Skaven assassin. He strikes hard and fast at the enemy's weak points and does not stop till all of them are dead. This coupled with the unholy magic surrounding his set of razors means that even the toughest end up on the floor quick. He also likes to use his opponents' body parts as improvised weapons.

His style is offense oriented, with little or no concern to defense besides simply evading every blow that comes his way. He also does not wear heavy armor as he requires speed. Being very focused he is resistant to pain due to sheer willpower and a stubborn refusal to go down but sometimes you just can't fake actual protection.

He has some innate sense of fairness, having started off as an honest man living an ordinary life. He does not have a strict warrior background however, and so does not follow any martial vow or code of honor.

Todd has one notable ability:

Assault Trance: Some training with the martial ascetics of the Far East have allowed him to unlock the inner Varghulf lurking within every Strigoi at will. This heightens his strength and speed to levels that few vampires save those of the first generation can match but accelerates awakening of the Red Thirst. If he uses this for long enough he just might turn into a Varghulf...

Equipment:
-His personal set of silver razors. These have been constantly been exposed to necromantic energies and the blood of innocents over the centuries. As a result, the blades have a sort of semi-sentience and help guide themselves towards the enemy's weak points(enhancing Todd's fighting style). The unholy power absorbed into the weapons can directly suck the life force out of anything hit and cause a minor blow to become fatal. Also, wounds inflicted on non-undead have a tendency of stubbornly refusing to heal. Quick application of powerful magics are required to heal injuries inflicted on the living by these weapons, otherwise the subject will bleed out and die.

-Light armor of Elf origin, stolen or looted, concealed under his clothes. Minor enchantments allow it to provide as much protection as a normal suit of heavy armor, but it is nowhere near as powerful as that of the magic armors that most warrior vampires use.

I hope this doesn't make him overpowered. I'm just trying to further illustrate what I had in mind for my character. Think Vekarin will still beat my character at his own game.

- War-gear: (Armour)- In battle Vyacheslav von Carstein dons a suit of plate armour, highly similar to that worn by Vlad during the First Vampire War, it features sharp accentuated edges, which can in battle be used to slice against his foe's skin.
(Weapon(s))- Vyacheslav von Carstein always carries Timor Noctis into Battle. This massive two-handed sword has a Dragon-scale hilt, a huge black onyx for a pommel stone, and its name – meaning Night’s Dark Terror- emblazoned on its blade.
- Outside of Battle Vyacheslav von Carstein carries two short blades, hidden within his billowing cloak, which were given to him by Vladimir von Carstein after his successes within Mordheim. The blades of which have been infused with Warpstone causing corruption to occur in all those who feel its bite.

Personality:
- Vyacheslav is a reserved, introvert who prefers to view life from a distance, only making his mark where he feels he will succeed, but if provoked he can become an aggressive individual, and is known to be overcome with spouts of uncontrollable rage, from which he can only be calmed by his wife Ingrid.
- Vyacheslav is also a cold and cunning individual who is known to throw countless lives away to meet his goals, and does not discern between the deaths of one man and that of a hundred.

Summarised Background:
Vyacheslav was born twenty seven years before the coming of Vladimir von Carstein, and his claimant upon the throne of the Imperial Principality from the von Drak’s. Following the von Carstein’s instatement as ruler of Sylvania Vyacheslav rose quickly through the ranks of Sylvania’s Drakenhof Guard, until at the age of twenty nine in the year 1799 he held the title of Seneschal. Shortly after this during the years winter Vyacheslav was seduced by the dark beauty of Isabella von Carstein and became her first get. Fearing what repercussions this could be brought upon himself by Vladimir von Carstein, Vyacheslav was relieved when he found that von Carstein was pleased with Isabella’s actions of siring Vyacheslav. Following this began the siring of important members of Sylvania’s aristocracy and spread of Vampirism throughout the Principality.

Over the next two hundred years Vyacheslav von Carstein rose to become an important member within the von Carstein council chambers, discussing matters of both Intelligence and Military with the von Carstein. Vlad’s ambitions to instate himself as Emperor where beginning to bear fruit and following the destruction of Mordheim, Vyacheslav was sent as Spymaster of the von Carstein house to recover as much Warpstone has possible to aid the Count in his ambitions.

After his successes within Mordheim, Vyacheslav returned to Sylvania. Where, in the year 2009 married, the enchanting Ingrid von Carstein who had been sired three years previously, also by Isabella von Carstein.

In 2010 as the von Carsteins began their march upon the Empire, Vyacheslav von Carstein captained Vladimir’s personal bodyguard and stood next to Vulf von Carstein who bore aloft the infamous Drakenhof Banner of Sylvania, which had been tainted with the von Carstein’s dark magic to all creatures of towards it.
Following the fall of Vladimir von Carstein and the suicide of Isabella, Vyacheslav returned to Sylvania. Where in the following years saw the feud of the remaining second generation for the leadership of the house. Eventually, Konrad von Carstein, later to be known as the “Blood Count” emerged victorious of his blood brothers and claimed the mantle of Count of Sylvania. Shortly following this Vyacheslav departed Sylvania and ventured north into the Empire. Of his time here not much is known except that he and his wife in Unlife Ingrid sired a dozen of the most capable individuals they encountered. From this Vyacheslav formed a coven within the Stirland Capital of Wurtbad and was to remain there for the next hundred years.

In the last dying days of the twenty second century since the Coming of Sigmar, Vyacheslav returned to Drakenhof Keep, with his wife and a small group of his most loyal gets. What they found were the decrepet remains of a once glorious citadel now, under control of the villan Mannfred von Carstein. Wanting to have no part in Mannfred's affairs Vyacheslav departed from his birth place, and now presides over the

Strengths and Powers:
- Vyacheslav is a natural leader after his years within the Drakenhof Guard and through his experienced gained from the first Vampire Wars, where his word held weight comparable to that of Vladimir von Carstein.
- Vyacheslav is highly skilled in the art of combat particularly pertaining to the usage of great swords, and long blades, which in his current vampiric form Vyacheslav is able to wield with remarkable ease.
- On the subject of Necromancy Vyacheslav was tutored by none other than Vladimir von Carstein himself, who was the first individual to introduce Necromancy to Sylvania. From this teaching he became an accomplished Necromancer; however Vyacheslav has over the years acquired a great aptitude for amethyst magic and under most circumstances uses this form over Necromancy.
- Vyacheslav can like a select few of the von Carstein line shapeshift into a wolf at will. This allows Vyacheslav to cover ground quickly when other forms of transportation are unavailable and also in this form Vyacheslav remains a consummate fighter.
- Vyacheslav has an exceptional knack to recover from wounds incredibly quickly even for a Vampire which is further more amplified by the presence of his sword which when made wet by the blood of his enemies, rejuvenates Vyacheslav to fight onwards.
- On the subject of resistance to the sun, its effects upon Vyacheslav are all but non-existent; however he is prone after many years spent underground to be susceptible to light sensitivity.
- Of all of Vyacheslav von Carsteins powers his most unique is the ability to blend in with his surroundings, such as a chameleon changes the shade of its skin. This trait is quiet uncommon within the von Carstein line, and led to increasing ease for Vyacheslav in his former role as Spymaster.

Weaknesses:
- Vyacheslav von Carstein is a proud individual, and this sadly leads to a small amount of recklessness which could bring about his untimely demise if it is not kept under control.
- Vyacheslav’s love for his wife Ingrid von Carstein could bring around vulnerability within him, as they have kept each other sane over the past five hundred years and Vyacheslav would do anything not to lose her.

Associates:
- Ingrid von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s Wife.
- Andrea von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s first Get, an individual with much prowess in combat.
- Vadim, a Necromancer of Vyacheslav.
- Klavdii, a Necromancer of Vyacheslav.
- Isabella von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s sire.
- Mannfred von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s predecessor.

I'm unsure how my Character would fit as of the current trends within the thread, what role would you wish for me to play?

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Nice character Crimson, however a few notes:

Mannfred is the current ruler of Sylvania and thus resides at Drakenhof. Your character could reside there as well if you are on Mannfred's side (the TVC's current main enemy)

Your character also seems to be too much like Vlad, apart from the chameleon ability he is identical, down to the brooding personality with fits of rage that can only be calmed by his wife. I would suggest possibly trying to make him more unique.
(Oh, a final note, you mentioned he is the oldest surviving, the oldest get of Vlad recorded is Mannfred, unofficially it is my character Milosh who was sired by Vlad before he came to Sylvania, this can't be altered as it is a integral part of a plot twist later)

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

I also have a couple of concerns:

1. One of his titles is last of the second generation but if he was sired by Isabella who is herself a second generation vampire then that makes him third generation like his brothers in death Mircea and Simon.

2. carrying on from above there are only two second generation vampires who were sired by Vashanesh left Three if you include Jerek and only one of them is official at the moment.

3. Vlad's standard bearer is generally regarded to be his brother in law Vulf.

Other than these points which DoN forgot to mention I'm looking forward to you joining the group just remember that you're character will very likely know mine and Gree's as we are all brothers.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Is my character alright I hope so if not I'll change him

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

One note to ALL von Carsteins, there is a plot regarding this bloodline that I wil PM you about shortly, if you want to be a von Carstein then you will be affected by this.

@ Simon, I am DoN, not Milosh lol!

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

Also I tok the Voivode title with my character, because he is a general. Although I do not know If thier can be multiple holders.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread and Character Bio's

technically Rask is a von Carstein, though he isnt normally included in their numbers. would he be effected by this plot?

Prominent amongst her weapons carried Ingrid wields a long saber which has regenerative properties on par with her husbands long sword.

Personality:
Ingrid von Carstein is highly enchanting and uses her beauty within the aristocracy of Sylvania to all her husband and herself prominent positions within the Vampire Council. Often described as sadist and insane, Ingrid is well known to bathing in the blood of the virgins of Templehof to keep her beauty which she is afraid, that as her years into undeath continue shall diminish.

Background:
Prior to her marriage and siring by Vyacheslav von Carstein in 2009, Ingrid von Carstein was the daughter of the previously ruler of the city of Templehof, located west of Drakenhof Keep in Sylvania. After Vyacheslav's successes within Mordheim, he returned to Sylvania a confident Vampire, and asked for Ingrid's hand in marraige. She accepted and shortly afterwards was sired into the von Carstein Bloodline, as Vyacheslav's wife in undeath.

During the first Vampire War, Ingrid traveled north with Vyacheslav and the armies of Sylvania similar to the way Isabella von Carstein, and Emmanuelle did. However, in the years of the campaign Ingrid became highly skilled in necromancy and assisted the Necromancers of Vladimir von Carstein in numerous occasions, which earned her reverance amongst other family members.

After the failure of the First Vampire War, Ingrid von Carstein remained with Vyacheslav and through his travels in the Empire, and the formation of a von Carstein coven inside the Stirland Capital of Wurtbad. After discovering this Vyacheslav and Ingrid returned to her birth place of Templehof to govern the fledgling city.

Strengths and Powers:
- Ingrid von Carstein is naturally beautiful, and this beauty was further accentuated upon her siring. This is a valuable asset for Ingird as it fools her opponents to believe her to be weak and innocent, which is far from true.

- Ingrid von Carstein can like a select few of the von Carstein line shapeshift into a wolf at will. This allows Ingrid to cover ground quickly when other forms of transportation are unavailable and also in this form Ingrid remains a consummate fighter. Whilst transformed Ingrid takes upon the form of a great white wolf.
- Ingrid von Carstein has an exceptional knack to recover from wounds incredibly quickly even for a Vampire which is further more amplified by the presence of his sword which when made wet by the blood of his enemies, rejuvenates Ingrid von Carstein to fight onwards.

Weakness:
- Ingrid von Carstein is highly vain and cares a great deal for her looks which have at many a time proved to be a pivotal weakness in her character.
- Ingrid von Carstein, is as such a small individual, even for a Vampire only a strong as a muscular mortal male when it comes to close combat, however this weakness is lessened by Ingrid's abilities as a Necromancer, and spell caster.

Associates:
- Vyacheslav von Carstein, Ingrid's sire and Husband.
- Andrea von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s Second Get, an individual with much prowess in combat.
- Vadim, a Necromancer of Vyacheslav.
- Klavdii, a Necromancer of Vyacheslav.
- Isabella von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s sire.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Full Name: Vekarin Banespike
Associated Names: Lord Darkblade, The Dark Bladed, Lord of the Scarred Rose
Age: 4057
Bloodline: Blood Dragon
Sire: Abhorash
Place of Birth: Ancient Lahmia

Description
Vekarin is enormously tall, just under eight feet and he rarely removes his armor, which is enormous and plated and bedecked in glowing runes of protection. He wears a mask in the visage of a grimacing skull, and carries a sword of exceptional power. The Dark Blade is said to kill with a touch, dragging the life force from it's victims like screaming children (think Frostblade or Black Axe). It attracts Dark Magic and when it is drawn, the lights dim and the dead stir. He wears a cloak of purple that is fur trimmed. His eyes glow with balefire and his voice is deep and reverberating. Vekarin is a Blood Dragon who believes in his own personal honor and discipline, as all of his line. Angering him would be most unwise, as he leads some of the most elite troops of all the undead lords. While no master of magic or the dark arts, Vekarin's rage knows no bounds and his physical skill is unmatched. He believes strongly in honor and if he believes his violated, he will retaliate with force. He has an iron will and a long memory, and will not forget grudges quickly, if at all. While he does believe strongly in his own honor, in later years he has let anger and personal gain take hold of his actions. Many have theorized that had he not married Victarias, his on sense of honor would have devolved into self-gratifying rage. Had he not the steady hand of his wife to guide him, he would have been killed in battle long ago, or worse, taken a tyrannic kingdom for himself, ruling ruthlessly with an iron fist.

A Brief History
Vekarin was once known in ancient Lahmia as the mighty warrior Vehki-Rhan. He was a disciple of Abhorash, one of his greatest warriors within the Lahmian armies and most promising commanders Abhorash ever trained. It did not take long after Neferata's transformation and her subsequent bestowal of the Blood Curse onto Abhorash that Vekarin was cursed in turn by his mentor. He, like Abhorash, hated what he had become and, although he recognized the physical benefits and immortality granted his condition, he despised this reliance on the blood of his countrymen to survive. In the wars against the Priest Kings of Nehekhara, Vekarin fought alongside his mentor and his wife, Victarias. When all was inevitably lost, Vekarin fled with Abhorash into the wilderness with his own small force of undead and vampires. He learned all he could from his tutor, and left Abhorash to forge his own kingdom, for he believed the Vampyre are destined to rule over humans. He spent some time in the lands now known as the Empire, but left, finding the residents too weak and primitive for his leadership. He found a kingdom within the northlands, where he built an army of the most hardened northmen and did battle with the most powerful of Daemon Princes. Eventually he left the Chaos Wastes for the reiklands once again, building a fairly large kingdom where he ruled for many years in the land now known as Sylvania. Vekarin fought off many attacks made by the hordes of Orcs and Goblins, protecting his mortal subjects from these threats and even other tribes of humans, until the entity known as the Empire formed. During his unification of the Empire, the walking god Sigmar assaulted Vekarin's stronghold, killing Victarias and sending her soul screaming to Morr with the energies of Ghal-Maraz. He left Vekarin for dead and the Vampire's castle a burned hulk. Vekarin retreated to the Sylvanian mountains in grief, living in a self-imposed exile within his mighty stronghold of the Violet Citadel. For many centuries he dwelt within his fortress, with only his skeletal guards and unliving lieutenants. He left rarely, once to destroy a force led by the mighty Kekarsarun, herald of Tzeentch. With this victory (known by scholars as the Battle of Two Dragons) Vekarin deflected an almost crippling blow to the infant rule of Vlad von Carstein. Many years later, Vekarin journeyed into Sylvania to pledge his allegiance to that Vampire Lord, and fought in the Vampire Wars until Vlad's death. He was fairly quiet after those terrible wars, but was summoned by Milosh Cromwell to the first Vampire Council.

Armor and Weapons
Vekarin wears the armor of fabled Kekarsarun, an incredibly powerful artifact of Tzeentch which houses a forsaken Changer of Ways. The armor is self-healing and resistant to most physical attacks and magical effects, although a powerful attack will crush it, and it's magic can be dispelled, rendering the daemon within it ineffective for a short time. The wearer of this armor may also commune with this daemon to further increase the Armour's effectiveness. Upon his head Vekarin wears the Mask of Skulls, a powerful item dedicated to the destruction of Morr's servants and the nullification of arcane dampeners. However, the mask has limited power and it is not known whether it can be recharged. Vekarin also carries the Dark Blade, a weapon procured from a powerful Daemon Lord. Any touch from this blade will tear the life from an enemy forcefully, usually rendering them incapacitated or dead, depending on the nature of the wound and length of time it is endured.

Feelings toward other bloodlines
Strigoi: Vekarin regards the strigoi as the pinnacle of vampiric warriorship. Although he detests their common lack of honor or tact, he respects their strength and believes that they can be used to great effect on the battlefield if wielded correctly. More than one of his personal cabal of lieutenants are Strigoi, but they are each more of a weapon of war than a person.
Nechrarch: Vekarin regards magic and those who wield it as cowardly and foolish, but recognizes it's power and usefulness. However the Nechrarch's manipulation is often more than Vekarin wishes to deal with and he normally stays clear of the Nechrarch bloodline.
Von Carstein: Vekarin feels that the Von Carsteins are dishonorable warriors and simple aristocrats. Although he respects the power this bloodline wields and recognizes Mannefred as one of the most powerful Vampires to rise to the fore, Vekarin never really thought much of the Sylvanian family.
Lahmian: Seductive and beguiling, the Lahmians are Vekarin's least favorite of the Vampiric bloodlines. Vekarin regards Lahmian manipulations as cowardly and their seductions disgusting.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Full Name: Victarias Banespike
Associated Names: Handmaiden of Lahmia, Queen of the Violet Rose
Age: 4055 total, 1560 'alive'
Sire: Vekarin Banespike
Bloodline: Blood Dragon
Place of Birth: Ancient Lahmia

Description
Victarias is about 6 feet tall with peircing eyes, strong features and dark raven hair and she is comparably beautiful. She his strong and lithe, more so than many women because of her extensive weapons training and skill with a blade. Victarias is quite a bit more personable and reserved than Vekarin. She retains a strong moral code and code of honor, yet she does not openly or violently disagree with others as Vekarin does. She will, however meet any harsh ridicule or insult with violence, but not to the same amount as Vekarin does. Many times Victarias is the one to calm Vekarin's anger, and with her dead he is much more likely to use deadly force as his only option.

A Brief History
Victarias served as a bodyguard/handmaiden for the queen Neferata in Lahmia before it's fall. There she met and fell in love with Vekarin, and the two were wed sortly before the Preist Kings attacked the city. In the short time between the two events, Aborash sired Vekarin who in turn sired Victarias as Blood Dragons. After Lahmia's fall, Vekarin fled with Victarias out of the city with his closest allies instead of joining Nagash with the remainder of the Vampyre of Lahmia. She accompanied Vekarin on many of his travels, aiding him along the way. When he built the kingdom of the Violet Rose in what would later become Sylvania she became the Queen of the Violet Rose and ruled at his side. Sometime later, the man-god Sigmar attacked the fortress of the Violet Rose and fought Victarias in single combat, quickly killing her.

Armor and Weapons
Victarias, when armored, wears a set of purple lacquered armor and a violet cloak. She wears a violet, jeweled crown that designates her position as the Queen of the Scarred Rose. She carries a multitude of knives and daggers in various locations on her body and two long swords known as the Blades of the Night. These weapons act as if they had a life of their own and increase Victarias' already considerable physical prowess.

Pros
Blade Mistress: Victarias was more skilled with a blade than most in the Old World before she was killed and incarcerated. Even now she is very powerful in hand to hand combat.

Cons
Hell's Touch: Hell is not a place one walks of of without effect, and Victarias is still plagues by the time she spent there. Even the slightest word can release dredged up, and very real, memories of her torture, incapacitating her.

Thoughts on other Bloodlines
Strigoi: Although she was not alive to know of the Strigoi's devolution into the monsters they are today, Victarias saw the Strigoi as proud warriors and good allies.
Nechrarch: Victarias ever saw the use of the crone-lord more than Vekarin ever did, and she insisted that their fortress be manned by at least one of these magically adept vampires before her death. Although their manipulations discomfort her, she knows that to keep a Nechrarch in check, she must keep in the position of power at all times. Despite this, her relation with this bloodline in tenuous at best.
Von Carstein: Victarias was not alive at the time of the founding of the Von Carstein bloodline.
Lahmian: Victarias sees the Lahmians in the same light that Vekarin does.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Yes, she's supposed to be dead...twice:
Name: Requarah of Lahmia
Associated Names: Juliet de Veldenwald
Age: 476
Sire: Who cares!? Not her!
Bloodline: Lahmian
Place of Birth: Sylvania

Description
Requarah is about 5'6, possessing an attractive, curvy body Requarah wears expensive dresses and revealing clothing in the latest Imperial fashions. Her dark hair is always done up in these fashions and she wears extensive make up. Requarah is seductive and beguiling, using her attractiveness to gain an edge in and out of battle. She works for herself, and herself alone, and will use any means to achieve her ends. While her allegiance is to Nagash, she would as soon betray him for a more powerful master as a cat laps up it's milk.

A Brief History
Requarah was born in a small imperial village just outside of Sylvania and sired at the age of 21. She never found out who sired her, nor does she really care because she came to view vampirism as a blessing not many had the chance to experience. She delighted in her new found physical abilities, being able to overpower the strongest mortal men and with vampiric grace and speed that far outmatched that of any she had met. But what she delighted most in was the hunt for blood. Requarah's family had always been poor, and she had long since learned to use her physical attractiveness to her advantage, selling herself out to men in taverns and bars. Fortunately for her, her family was killed in her feeding frenzy as a newborn and she was able to carry on her work alone, seducing men into her home before killing them, sucking them dry of blood and taking whatever valuables they possessed. She had gained a fair stockpile of wealth but the murder of a dozen young men did not go unnoticed and she was arrested as a thief and murderer. She would have been killed that day were it not for the intervention of Mistress Lesa, who passed through the town as the young woman was to be burned for her crimes. Lesa drove away the crowds calling for Requarah's blood and took the girl with her to her home with Milosh Cromwell. There, she was fed and cared for until she regained her strength. Lesa and Milosh also taught her the ways of Vampires and the history of her race. After several years of living with Lesa and Milosh, Requarah expressed a desire to return to the Empire, and she was given money enough to buy a large estate and start living as a privileged aristocrat among the Altdorf elite. However, a single woman owning a great estate was something unheard of within the Empire, and she married into a powerful family. Over several hundred years, Requarah lived within Altdorf, becoming skilled in seduction and politics. She pretended to be in various positions within powerful Altdorf families, gathering a large occult following and small army of Undead in secret over the centuries. Eventually, when she was posing as beautiful the daughter of the late Baron de Veldenwald, she decided to make a real grab for power. Using several of her gets, she infiltrated the power bases of the von Carstein family, subtly manipulating their decisions with false advice from the lips of her spies. It was a masterful plan, but some were aware of it. During a formal ball in her large Altdorf home, Requarah was called upon by Vekarin who evidently killed her, sucking the life force out of her body with the Dark Blade. However she survived, and through the political manipulations of her spies within the Altdorf elite, Requarah set an army of Witch Hunters and many knights of Morr upon the Violet Citadel. The attack was defeated, and Vekarin infiltrated her home again in the guise of a priest of Morr. He tracked Requarah to a base within the sewers of Altdorf, where she was gathering a number of Undead. After a small battle, Vekarin killed Requarah by cutting off her head with a silvered knife. Believing her dead, Vekarin left for the Violet Citadel. However Requarah was not that easy to destroy, and has lain low since her apparent 'death.' Several years ago, she felt the need to take power again, but this time from a different source. Requarah pledged her allegiance to Nagash, adding her meagre troops to his and acting as a liaison between the lord of the Dead and Mannefred von Carstein.

Pros
Seductive: Requarah uses her looks masterfully to achieve her goals.
Polticially Manipulative: Requarah has manipulated the actions of humans and Vampyre for hundreds of years and she is quite proficient at it.

Cons
Jill of all Trades, Mistress of None: Requarah, while proficient in the basics of magic using and combat, is not a master of either and prefers let her thralls do her work for her.
Fickle: Requarah will pledge allegiance to someone only when and if it suits her to do so. She cannot be trusted and will often work for the highest bidder.
