Has anyone ever sieged the "Skaven HQ"? Skavenblight I believe it's called? From what I can remember it sounded impossible to attack for multiple reasons. Or to successfully attack.

EDIT: I guess it used to be a human/dwarf settlement, so there should be plenty of angry souls there..

I don't think anyone has. There is no guarantee that the Fellblade is in Skavenblight however- its so dangerous they might have hidden it away somewhere isolated. Also, marching into a place with an army is only one of the thousands of ways you can procure something.

Anyone seen Vlad's Stats yet? Just he is listed as having new rules in
la%2Bfoto2.webp
but ive seen nothing of it.

None that I have seen. I really hope they make new rules because him suddenly having the carstein ring back would be very strange to say the least.

Yes, sorry for the mistake. Mannfred is going to take the Fellblade from the Skaven.

Ah, so that would explain the rumored rules for underground fighting.

It also puts a possible interesting context to the Skaven invasion of Tilea and Estalia. Skavenblight is beneath Tilea. With forces invading Skavenblight in search of the Fellblade, it wouldn't make a lot of sense for the Skaven to decide to start an offensive while their capital is vulnerable. If Skavenblight were to be destroyed and a large number forced above ground and cut off from the tunnel system, I could see that breaking out into large scale fighting against the Tileans.

Is it weird that I'm way more saddened by the possible destruction of Skavenblight than I am concerning Kislev and the rest of the northern Empire that's to be razed?

I don't think it is weird at all. Skavenblight is the cultural, economic, spiritual and military center of the warhammer world. Remember, man things, orcs, elf things and stunties only exist to supply slave labour and scrap to fuel the skaven economy.

The Death of Wallach I feel is rather saddening but worse is the complete lack of Necrachs in the list.. So I've seen Valtan and Crom but are there any other Characters (non Vampire/tombking) included in the rules?

Sanai, you speak the truth-truth!

On a side note from the possibility of Skavenblight's destruction, anyone have a good way of getting the smell of the musk of fear out of an office chair?

Throgg looks really small in that art. You'd think he'd be towering over Felix. Minithroggslayer.

He can just put the staff in his ghost bookbag that he's standing on.

I'm a massive fan of giant sword-wielding bad dudes but I think the staff is the better option. At least with that you can stick the sword on his hip. The other way round, he'd look like a warcraft warlock with that staff stuck on the back.

A good compromise would be to make the Opened Liber Mortis float in front of him with some wire (or just use the closed Liber Mortis attached to his belt) and have the sword in one hand, staff in the other like the old model did.

Death of Wallach?! Oh dear, any news on Abby? And I agree it does seem strange that no necrarch vampires have come aid nagash.

Oh he and krell def have new rules because they have a N next to them in that list above...
Thank god totally missed that, was mainly worried because no leaked pics were out while someone has the book..

My poor not even started skaven might have their home destroyed.. Oh my.. Underground battle sounds epic :)

any skaven warlord or gray seer can take the Fellblade for a bucketload of points, so I always assumed they had it locked away somewhere and loaned it out to really desperate warlords when needed.

I like to think that the warlord or grey seer who ends up wielding it never realizes the fancy sword the council gave him is harmful to his own health, until it is too late XD

the book and spirit are probably attached to their arm bits, making such a conversion diffacult. If you want him holding the sword, but still want the staff on the model, I'd look into converting the spirits to hold it, or maybe converting the spine tentacles on his back to do so. Also not easy conversions, but probably less diffacult than trying to extract or recreate his arm detail.

for my part, I'll be assembling him holding staff and book, with the sword at his side, because to me nagash was always a wizard first, and a warrior second.

Is any of this new stuff going to be tournament official? I can't see the ETC allowing any of these rules or characters into their tournaments. Nor do I see them being used by all the other TO's around the world.
