Good question, i think i didn't see any weapons and armour to be taken normally, don't quote me that.
But the blood line armour is very cheap, if you take Avatar of Death then you'll still have 75-80pts to spend.

Aparently so, yes i saw that necromancers (although Lv 1) can know IoN and know 2-3 other spells for 15pts each.
Also i think it not be just IoN that can be caste again and again by the same wizard, but all the others as well.

1. Black coach costs the same but it is beefed up.
2. Ghouls. Thats up to you. Do ranked up undead ghouls sound interesting to you?
3. Wight Kings. I believe they got T5 instead or was it S5? or... Well, check the rumours.

Now here is the very good part, the Special Characters.
1. Vlad very good spell caster, has all the courtly powers, is the only one to have 4+ ward save with the carstein ring, stats of a old vampire count but has +1 attack and Ld, is very nasty because he cannot be killed so easily, has blooddrinker cause a wound heals a wound.
2. Isabella weak but heals herself or other vampires with chalice, and if dies sends vlad mad with frenzy and possibly hatred. THat is what opponent would not like to happen.
3. Mannfred is ridicously power wizard, is lv4 and knows the complete vampire and death lores. Has all the Arcane bloodlines and not a bad fighter to boot as well, can choose two arcane items of your choice.
4. Konrad is very scary and very cheap, can do 30 wound if the right dice are rolled.
And here's the best part, they all all riducously cheap, i mean Vlad is the most expensive one but is 200pts cheaper than 6 Ed. Mannfred.

Excellent i'm going to go through a points cost, if my memory serves me well i can properly do the points cost of each unit.

This is going to sound like a bit of a superfluous question but does anyone know if Mannfreds body comes attached to the great nightmare thing or whether it could be put on say, a zombie Dragon?

It could well happen, remember there has been a lot of second wave miniature releases for armies such as the flagallents.
We shall have to wait and see.

Our second wave basically consists of Blood Knights blister packs as far as I am aware. This could change though.

I think it could be 3+, If noone can confirm it i'll say when I get my spearhead(should only be a couple of weeks). And vamps get 5 different mounts, skeletel steeds, nightmares, i think greater nightmares, abyssimal terrors(new name for a winged nightmare), and zombie dragons. I got that list yesterday when I was buying my winged nightmare
