"Then do not let him transform."
Frederick looked to the window - it was dark.
"Night falls. I shall not watch the death of a man, even one whom I have voted to die."
Without another word, Frederick climbed the stairs and began the search for his room.

I am loath to vote for any to die.
In my eyes our best bet is still to fight our way from here rather than wait till we are to few in number to do so or she decides to kill us rather than let us leave, if however there is a monster among us I have yet to see anything that would want me to vote to see another die, I don't have that level of certainty as it stands.
To kill a man on the field when it is your duty and he is also under same compulsion is entirely different to passing sentence on another.

If Another was under threat of death from voting I may cast my vote so as to cause a tie, in which case both would be spared but if one of them was the beast and he lived because of my choice it would be equally devastating.

*crouching down and sliding one of the pair of knives hidden in his riding boots he walks over to Gurter as he sits at the table*

My old man always said you can never have to many knives, a piece of advice that has served me well the years.
When she comes I hope we can at least muster a defense and put her to the sword, if not.... *sliding the Knife along the table to Gurter*
Give the Bi*ch hell.
*With a grim expression on his face in preparation for the night to come he walks back across to the group discussing who should suffer such a fate*

Vote: Abstain

Gurter finished his last meal and began gnawing on the bone thoughtfully.
He turned to Erik.
"Before I die, I probably ought to air my suspicions. I know nothing, but I would advise keeping an eye on those who have failed to explain themselves, especially those who have voted as well."
"My friend, if you survive this, thank you for your aid. Only you gave me hope in my search. Only you overcame your initial hostility to my blessing. Thank you."

*Looking back over his shoulder*

Then ruck it down the back of your belt and hope to catch her by surprise, there is a sliver of silver in the blade.... if Sigmar decides to guide your blade... Or claw we may yet all leave here. *A sad smile tugging at the corners of his lips*

(To Alessandro)
"It is understandable for you to think such things when I stand by and support Gurter. We are all suspicious of everyone else here and that is somewhat normal for our predicamate."

Isaac inclined his head down at Gurter, an expression on his face that hinted he was a million miles away in his mind. "Maybe I AM too trustworthy of Gerter, and I should not be. It's just that...my mentor was a former priest of Ulric, and that brings back many memories from years past."

"I can't condone bringing death to a werewolf when the ones we're fighting are vampires. With only one day of observation under my belt, it's practically impossible to form an opinion, so I'm afraid I must abstain. Hopefully...we can get to the bottom of this mess before it's too late."

The Masque continued to sit around Gurter, observing the conversation as it died down.

Vote: Abstain

Erik nodded to Abel "Thank you my friend"

To the room "If no one else needs me I will go to my room. This old mind and heart are not what they used to be" Grabbing the last of the fruit from the table Erik departs

Another rumble of thunder filled the room as Gunter prepared to meet this death.

"So my darling's you have finally taken action?" Ivana's voice echoed around the room, "and you have decided to put the poor puppy to death. How cruel.....and they say we are the animals."

Gurter stood up. His time had come.
He walked across to the doors that barred the doors. As everyone watched, he placed a piece of hair from a vial into his mouth and took off his shoes. He called out at the doors.
“Miss Hoompalot! Did you know about my blessing when you lured me here? Come and fight me – I’ve been sentenced to death, let me see if I can take you with me.”
To everyone’s surprise, the door burst open. Before anyone could react, five skeletons, armed with silver weaponry, charged at Gurter.
He growled, and, discarding his axe, leapt at the skeletons. As he leapt his features changed, and a large, clothed wolf tore into one of the skeletons. However as Gurter turned to attack another, the skeleton whose bones he had dismembered thrust its silver sword through Gurter’s chest.
A howl lifted to the heavens. Gurter’s form wavered, settling back into a human form, blood mingling on the floor.
As the skeletons rapidly retreated back behind the closed doors, Ivana’s voice was heard once more:

"No dust.....well my lovelies, it appears you have been wrong."

Suddenly a choke dragged the guests eyes to the balcony, to meet the sight of a man hung over the edge, Ivana's hand around his throat the only thing keeping him from falling.

"I do get rather testy when someone doesn't play Lirael," Ivana crooned as she drew the man in close, lifting him up. With her other hand she reached forward to cup his genitals, gently massaging, "I fear I am going to have to make an example of you, so the others know what will happen should they choose to remain silent." Lirael's eyes flared in fear before Ivana squeezed her hand, the sharp crack from the man's groin causing him to scream in agony. Even through the screams she still massaged, nails drawing blood as they sliced through soft tissue.

Laughing at the man's pain Ivana drew him closer and tore out his throat, opening her mouth to catch the spurt of blood. Before it had ended she let go, giggling as the body smacked into the marble floor below.

"I do hope the rest of you remember to join in the fun tomorrow.....well those of you who still live..." As lighting flashed Ivana disappeared once more.

Alessandro started at the scene before him, horrified. Eventually, he shook his head and blinked.

"I ... I am going to bed. Any who try to enter my room shall be met with the cold steel of my blade ... Be warned ..." and with that, he went off to find his room, and noises echoed back down the corridor of furniture being moved; presumably to block the doorway.

The Masque stood stock still, staring at the spot where Ivana once stood, and where Lirael's corpse lay limply on the floor.

"So this is the menace we're faced with..."

Her voice trailed off into almost nothingness as she drew to the end of the sentence. She nodded goodbye to those still waiting in the great hall, then trudged silently off to bed.

'Well, at least that's one fiend dealt with' Kristof says almost regretfully. 'Looks like the vampire hunting will have to wait until tomorrow.'
He stood up from the table and strode down to his room, warhammer still resting on his shoulder-just a hint of drowsiness creeping into his gait.

After the brutal incident in the hall, a loud argument is heard in Duality's bedchamber.

"We're surrounded by monsters is that it? Ser Gilmore, if you ever loved me, you have to get me out of here, please!"
Pleads a scared, girlish voice.

"Poor girl, you still don't understand your predicament. Ser Gilmore is only a voice inside my head, just as you are. Try to grasp what I explained to you, there's no way out for you two unless we find..." A young male voice continues.

"BE SILENT FOOL!" Shouts a loud voice and cut's the male voice off. "I WILL NOT HAVE THIS LADY SCREAMING IN TERROR AND PLEADING FOR HELP, WHILST YOU DO NOTHING! I DID NOT TRAIN YOU AS A COWARD OR A FOOL, I WILL BE WATCHING YOUR ACTIONS AND SHOULD YOU FAIL MY EXPECTATIONS, I WILL TAKE OVER."

"Shut up, both of you, just shut up! No-one will take over anything, this is still my body you're traveling in and I'm in control. Now go to sleep in some dark corner, both of you and don't come back unless I call for you. Leave me!"

"Just leave me and shut up..."

After that, Duality's bedchamber becomes quiet again, save for a quiet sound that resembles...

sobbing.

*Gulping audibly, a cold sweat breaking out across his forehead*

How the hell did she get in here?....
That.... That was no way for anyone to die.

We will give Gurter his last rights tomorrow and move his body once day break is here, I am loath to go to the balcony at the moment. *The thought sending a shiver down his spine*
I Will depart to one of the bed chambers to try and sleep till morning, I will however be baring the door and advise others to do likewise.

*Trudges off upstairs to locate a bedroom, preferably with a sturdy door and a dresser to shove up against it*

Eyes wide by the suddenness of the two murders, Fyodor's hand shot to his small hourglass necklace, he whispered a prayer to himslef. Then looking down at Gurter's body, "I'm sorry this happened to you, hopefully we can destroy the abominations that live in this house." bending to his knees, Fyodor begun to pray over Gurter's body.

Snatching the bottle of brandy from the table, Dr. von Ungeheuer takes another long look at the two corpses and mutters, "Damn efficient..." He wipes a sheen a cold sweat from his forehead and then hurries off to his room.

Staring down at the wolf, no...the MAN that had been Gurter, Isaac lowered his head and closed his dark eyes.
"Gurter, I am deeply sorry about your fate. Had others been more reasonable, this all could have been avoided and you'd still be drinking down ale alongside the rest of us."

Leaning down towards the still body, Isaac dipped his hand into the dark blood seeping from Gurter's sword wound and laid it out, his palmprint displayed on the ground in front of the dead wolf's body. Without wiping his hand, Isaac turned towards the door where Ivana left.

"On the blood of this innocent man, I swear to take vengeance sevenfold on that monster who did this, AND to any others who aided in his demise. They will beg to go to Morr when I am through with them, and I shall not give them that mercy. Such is my vow."

His promise to Gurter said and done, Isaac turned towards the doors and left for his room, where rest did not come easy.

Below Carlos' forehead a small pool of blood was starting to form from his wound in his brow. He felt dizzy, but he was no longer unconscious. The knock on his head was considerable and he felt very weak.

He tried to roll over (the world seemed to spin around his head) and he sat up, his back to the gory remains of the scene happened just a few moments ago. He touched his forehead, it was warm with blood and it hurt.

He stood and then he saw it all. The blood. Someone had died. He approached to the big pool of blood and he saw some hairs on the floor. Not human hairs, but thicker and more rough, like a dog's.

Gurther? Carlos thought. Then he noticed the body of the werewolf nearby.
"So he was a werewolf after all..." Carlos whispered.

He took out his notebook and started scribbling what he saw, and his conclusions. He started to go to the stairs, but dawn was close and he didn't quite remember where his chamber was, so he headed to a nearby armchair, which was standing in the shadows of a corner and sat down. He tried to snatch some sleep but, knowing that there were vampires around there, he was too unrest.

Morning came, and for some they woke with a start. All of them have fallen into a deep slumber, despite the events of the previous night, and many began to wonder if the sleep was natural.

Entering the main hall they found a breakfast feast had been laid out, in truth food fit for a king. Hot and steaming it filled the air with tantalising aromas, banishing the smell of blood from the night before. On that score, the body of Gunter had disappeared along with the blood, leaving some to wonder if it had actually happened.

Whether they wanted to or not, they all came down to the main hall and with surprise the realised they were all there.

"What's this?" tutted Ivana from up on the balcony, causing many of them to jump, "you all still live? Well now, surely that can't be right?" Ivana's nostrils flared and a delicious smile slid across here face, "oh I see! Well I know my friends like to play, this should be very interesting."

Puzzled looks came from below as they all turned to see what she was looking at. Brand Horsentack looked at them back, slowly shuffling towards the front of the crowd. It was only has he moved that they saw that something was not quite right, the vacant gaze of his eyes, the jerkiness of the movements. Opening his mouth many reeled back in horror as they saw all his teeth had been ripped out, but it was nothing compared to what they saw next.

His skin and muscle had been flensed from the bone, leaving only bloody scraps which clung to his opened shirt. Every one of his organs had been removed, leaving only an empty ribcage. His pelvis could be seen into, the intricate workings of the hip joint crudely torn at by a knife, or perhaps just his killer's claws. His shoulders were attached only by the thinnest of scraps of cartilage. Whoever had killed him had then dressed him, since his clothes showed no sign of the horrific amount of blood which he must have lost as this happened. His spine was blackened and burnt, and welded to it, perhaps with his own tools, was a brass plate with the following inscription: 'ANOTHER GAME!!! Find one of my organs each, or there'll be a NASTY surprise for you tomorrow night. Have fun!!!''

DAY 2 HAS NOW STARTED[/mod]

"That ... That is just wrong!" Alessandro murmured, before shouting at Ivana - "You play a cruel game, wench! This ... This is no way for anyone to die, even you can see that, surely!"

Having just bitten into an apricot she had selected from the sumptious banquet table, Wilhelmina heard the countesses voice and then saw the shuffling abomination that had been Brandt. "Bleargh!" as the sight made her regurgitate the tiny brekfast. "Excuse me" she said dabbing her face ashen face with a handkerchief "I need to excuse myself a moment." She runs of shakily in the direction of the ladies toilets, no doubt to be violently ill.
