Wish i could say the same. My firm is now an entire month behind on payroll...again. i extremely concerned about my job security now. :/

Seriously, I've been there- start looking now! Even if you find you are ok where you are, it pays to have a fall back position. From long (and bitter) experience, getting behind with paying the staff is almost always the death knell for a business. Sorry if it seems bleak, but you deserve to have the info- your employers won't tell you- til it's too late. Best of luck, man.

Oh my god where is your doctor who avatar

I tell you it got so bad at one point I started seeing Matt Smith as you.

In unrelated news, I have returned to merry old Britain! Home sweet home.

Bah, Darvy is whoever he wants to be!

The sabre sounds interesting. Try to take it horse-riding and do some cavalry manoeuvres.

To be perfectly honest it's not what I would call a Sabre as the curve is so minimal, it's an infantry "Sabre" but during the 19th C it would have just been called a "Sword" but saying sword now a days would be a bit confusing.

I do British 19th Century Sabre fencing (other periods and weapons too but that's my passion as it where) and collect antique weapons from that period.

Edit: Mind you I have been lucky enough to do horseback Military Drills before with Sabre and Longsword, only a handful of times and it was bloody weird.

Weird orange/brown guy...? I'm struggling to remember him, what did he look like other than colours? Do you mean Fulgrim? (Emperor's Children)?

I know right! It is very annoying, sometimes it makes the most ridiculous corrections. Even worse, I like to chuck in the odd word of French, and it really hates that!

Right now I'm going through some pretty painful Homestuck withdrawal, made all the worse by the knowledge that we are in the final hiatus. When the comic updates again it will be done. I've known this was coming since Act 6 Act 6 Intermission 1, that flash just had an air of finality to it. The music especially had the feel of the end of all things.

I don't know how to feel about it, or what I'll do with myself after. I've never been so invested in a work of fiction. Following the story has just been such a constant part of my life for the last several years, knowing that it's ending now is like saying goodbye to a friend, knowing I'll never see them again.

I know how you feel Malisteen - I can become too involved in a book or game that has a good storyline. Same for TV series, where I have been known to put off the final episode just so it doesn't end xd

Some may laugh, but that recently happened for me with Star Trek: Enterprise. They only made four seasons and it wasn't enough dammit!! I needed more.......

As for what's happening with me, starting a new job on 18th (my birthday!) and lucking forward not being away from my family so long at a time. Also finally glad to be on the forum a little more

Congratulations and Happy Birthday! How old will you be now?

Sanai - I will be the old age of 29.....that's 77 in warhammer years xd

Matthewzilla - Good luck. It's difficult but don't give up. Just keep on persevering and you'll get there in the end. Best piece of advice I have - for all those jobs who say email the CV (generally to an agency), take the time to look up their number (normally you can find it by Google if it's not on the advert) and call them. They get loads of emails every day, and your call gets their attention and your CV looked at.

Worked for me
