@DDM, fuck!:swear: That is the exact reason why I detest moving house. You always loose something and always something that means a lot to you. Happened to me every damn time.

I sincerely hope it is stuffed away somewhere you would not expect and it'll turn up when you are looking for something else entirely.

Good point. But then it means there's a lot of time, and, perhaps it's sort of a hobby, and on top of being very interesting it also raises a question what to become of these bats?)

Ok now really serious. I'm volunteering as a 'bat protector' which means counting, determining species, checking health etc. We have around 14 species of small bats here but the majority of them are in decline. That means we need data and lots of it.
We know wind turbines are the cause of major deaths in at least two species.

Why do I do it? Because I love bats and they are a lot more important in the ecosystem then folks realize. Also, they are considered "yucky" and "ugly" so not many people would help them anyway. They'd much rather rescue birds, foxes etc. I will help my tiny brothers and sisters of the night!

We used to have a nest underneath our kitchen window of I remember correctly ...

And as for me ... I've been ill over the last couple of days. Pounding headaches, dizzy spells and the like, which has meant I haven't been in to work. And my employers have essentially tried blackmailing me with 'come in, or it's possible someone else will get your job'. Oh, and I was also told, 'absences aren't looked kindly upon in the first 12 weeks', as if I chose to get bloody ill!

Thats why i am so confused as i know I have not gotten rid of anything.

Descovered I have also lost Theodore Bruckner as well on foot so thats another model i need to buy again.

I have piles of stuff left but this was the nearly all my Forge World Gear and most my best parts.
I just hope the conversions turn up, I can take the hit for the cost, the models though which are finished would hurt allot more.

Well my wife is now enjoying being housewife after quitting her horrible job when we found out we're pregnant. Never saw that coming. I am enjoying having an awesome lunch made by her everyday though. And her wood sculpturing is really coming along now that she has the time. Life is full of surprises.

Repainting skellies as i squeed over the chance to do a solid skellie theme again list with the new battlescroll.

I'm doing pretty good, had a one to one with my new boss who has said he is impressed with my work and that I don't need to worry, so that has set my mind at rest a little. The missus is also doing well in her new job

Finally starting to get into a routine as well after the first few hectic weeks.

More importantly however I got my PS4 last week Very happy with it so far.

Yesterday I saw The Truman Show. The ultimate 'reality' show, a lawyer discovers that he is the unwitting star of the T.V show of his life, with 5000 cameras observing him every day, and everyone in the 'town' is an actor. The humour is that every time he tries to leave there is some ridiculously suspicious reason why he can't. Very funny.

Not really been active for a long time but I've been absurdly busy in the world of mobile development and design. Still have a love for the VC and the hobby. The bigger part of the last year I've done almost nothing but working. Not complaining but I just wanted to show up and say hello to one of the best warhammer communities I've been a part of. I'm taking the plunge in a doubles tournament with VC at 1200 pts next year. Kind of struggling to come up with a list as its going to be weird. Basically I'm a smaller support list for the other army (Bretonnia)and I need to fill the gaps so to speak. Lots of Dire Wolves to protect his Knights and maybe even Bat Swarms which I normally would never ever use.

I might ask everybody's guidance in the foreseeable future.:slapface:
