What's your favourite Bloodline

I'm a Blood Dragon, definitely. Nothing I hate more than Sparkle Vampires and nothing I love more than Magic-style Vampires.

Von Carsteins, because I like more traditional vampires. Although, as a big fan of Nagash, I do have a soft spot for both Necrarchs and straight necromancer armies.

I like the blood Dragons, but I prefer the more freeform method used now where I can mix and match.

The inspiration for my current army is less vampires per say, but the Scourge from Warcraft so that explains a bit of it

This was hard really... I find cool stuff in all bloodlines ( far less in the Lahmia bloodline then them others )so i rank them instead then just name my favourite.

I like the Lahmian vampires best fluff-wise, but they were utter rubbish in 6th edition to play with. Mmmmmm... sweet seduction. (and I'm not speaking about the lame bloodline power)

2nd. place Strigoi, but they weren't too playable either.

3rd place Blood Dragons and these were the guys that I ended up playing the most.

4th place Necrarch, I played some with these too, more than the rest, less than Blood Dragons. Liked the fluff too.

5th place von Carstein. Somehow these have never turned me on. I like some of the models for their campish poses, but that's about it. Never played a game with these, although I got the models.

Damn. That was difficult. Blood dragons, Von Carsteins or Strigoi? Von carsteins are your typical evil vampire with even more evil laugh, Blood Dragons are just so cool(Unbeatable spell-casting knights? Oh hell yes!) or the strigoi, your more traditional Romanian vampire.

I was talking more about people who are in the same vein to Blood Dragons, but not necessarily blood dragons themselves. And I am aware they don't like magic, but I thought they would still use it not to fight the enemy, but to keep their army going.

Well the magic they use to keep the army going us their raw vampiric will, and 9 times out of ten they get somebody else todo it anyways
. However there are a few 'naughty' blood dragons around that use maic trinkets and the like as no blood dragon can actually use magic to any great effect.

Gotta Love the Von Carsteins. They are Regal and Soulless Killers. Vlad And Isabella, Konrad The Butcher and Mannfred... How can you not love these guys. Just the Fact that Konrad is a Psychotic Butcher does it for me.... Go the Von Carsteins...

I still smart from when GW kicked them off the Lords list and I just loved those freaks in the old Undead Army Book erv: It was sad for me to take a vampire to lead my undead only because I had to

Well I grew up loving Castlevania as my all time favorite video game series so Von Carstein it is for me! They are all unique and very interesting and I do enjoy each theme. I remember the first time I did Vampire counts when I first got into fantasy like 15 years ago I painted a red skeleton unit. I think I will do it again with the new models lol.

Von Carsteins = newest bloodline, most dangerous, want to take over at any cost. Organised and have clear power base unlike everyone else ( alright Lahmian's do as well, but they want to rule subtly not openly, that's just stupid make the peasants fear you.)
