I don't understand how a company can "run out" of pre-orders. I thought the whole purpose of pre-ordering was so that they would know how many copies to make. Silly GW, simple business tactics aren't just for kids.

The main purpose of pre-orders is to allow people to reserve items before release to guarantee acquisition. Granted, many companies use this to gauge interest and determine how large the initial production run should be, but GW haven't done that. That the release date is in a week means the items have already been produced, which is how they're able to run out.

I'm hoping in stores you'll still be able to buy the cards, that does mean you'd have to beat the horde back when going in and possibly even getting there before their doors actually opened. :frown:
But Nagash looks disgustingly big guys! I'm guessing as tall as or taller than a wraithknight big and I have no idea how I'd get him around :tongue:

If they do away with the difference between "nekhartan undead", and undead we have some crazy list possibilities with this book.. Can you imagine ws 6 hatred spear skeletons with a 5+ regen save, that crumble two points less than normal? (BSB + gheist) Then you add a corpse cart, and the book of Arkhan, and okkam's mindrazor.... And a blender lord 
They are not web exclusive, no. My preferred indy retailer has them listed, so other stores should too.
On the topic of Nagash's size:
From the tip of the foot to the top of his skull ignoring the pope hat, cloak and spirit host holding him aloft he is the same height as nightbringer; 11cm/ 4 and a little bit inches. He would make a good transcendent c'tan, daemon prince, or with a few dark eldar parts a haemonculus pain engine.

GW should have had a limit on the number of copies that you could buy to avoid scum like alexchattaway scooping them up and charging ridiculous prices... they do it now for concert tickets to try to fight the scum scalpers.
But as I've said, GW does not care about it's customers at all, we're just a cash cow. What were the Nagash books and model bundle selling for on the US site? $170 US or something? $290 AUS on the AUS website.... yep, I'm done with this company... anyone interested in still in shrink wrap black coach and corpse cart? I think I have some of the old metal wraiths, fell bats, bat swarm, vlad, konrad, and female vampire still in their blisters as well..

The bundle is $190 USD - not any savings mind -, and you do not get the cards.....

My local store had yet to finish their orders so I was able to secure a copy of the cards when I stopped in for the new WD today. So if you have a good local store, I'd definitely suggest talking to them before considering any eBay scumbums.
Does anybody know exactly what is in the new book? Is it just Nagash's rules and related scenarios, or does it have the new mannfred, neferata and arkhans rules too?

it does have all the rules some spansih guy has the book.. Link above was posted here earlier. Website says that book two also includes rules for all of nagashes 'followers'. Valten and Crom is there too..

The book has all of their rules and also the lore spells. I guess a lot of distributors nabbed up all of the card sets, so you may be able to get them in stores.
I got lucky. My local store was having a big sale this week. 20% off everything, including pre-orders... So that was cool.
