Thanks for the great work, Najo. Remember when adding Undead Legions that the Morghasts are valid units for regular Vamp Counts armies as well.

My fellow Vampires! Undead Legions is up!

I wrote an entire new list with the revised army rules and combined in Tomb King and Vampire Count entries into the same catz file.
Vampire Counts 8th now has Morghasts, Valten is added to the Empire and Crom added to Warriors of Chaos. Just update your Repositories and you should see all these delicious treats :)

So, I need your guys help with a couple things:
1) Report any issues, typos or suggestions to me in a reply here.

2) Any missing special rules or descriptions I don't have in there yet, if you want to help, check with me if it is still needed and type it up, then PM it to me and I will get it into the catalogs for everyone.

3) I created an Armies of the End Times game system, but I can't seem to get it to see the catalogs. Any advice on how to fix this would be great.

Feedback is always appreciated! Enjoy :)

Attempted to load it up, and it said the data was corrupted, will try again after updated Battlescribe itself.

Edit: Tried after updating, works perfectly.

Thanks everyone!

I fixed Vampire Lord's Magic Armour, spelling on Varghulf and Tomb Scorpion's Point Value.

It says max Lord and hero allowance is still at 25%. For the casket of souls, is there a limit to the number of guards and keepers it can have? Are TK units really not allowed to take magic banners or AB banners?

@Tobias the Mad Wight King Standard fixed. I also put in a condition only allow Vampire or Wight King to have BSB, not both. Interestingly, Undead Legion doesn't have a restriction on taking the TK and VC banner in the same force. I think GW missed that part.

@Alabaster427 I haven't changed the gamesystem file to 50% Lords and 50% Heroes because most players are still using the normal 25% limit. I am trying to create an End Times gamesystem file but I can't get it to recognize the catalogs. I fixed the Casket of Souls. Other TK units are correct. Only Chariots and Tomb Guard get magic standards.

When I go to choose Game System, there's an option for 'Armies of the End Times V5' but there are no lists whatsoever in there, is this intentional/your doing? Because the updates to the lists in the normal WHFB Game System (and the new Undead Legions list) work perfectly and are amazing.

Cheers though!

First, thank you for the kind words.

Second, since many players are still using pre-End Times limits, I was leaving the original game system as is and then creating an End Times game system with the new limits. Unfortunately I could not get the End Times system to work with the catalogs. If anyone has a solution I will implement it right away.

This is great Najo, thanks for adding the Undead Legion!

A question for everyone, is there an option the make the print version more organised? I am used to Army Builder.

Lets try a @Jonskichov
And see if he has a notion on how it is done:)

I think what you want to do is add an extra force type to the game system, rather than a whole new game system :)

Background: Each catalogue file relates to one (and only one) game system file. The game system defines the "force org chart" available to make armies with (among other things). If there are alternative force orgs, they are each represented by a "force type" in the game system file.

Keep in mind that you can (and probably should) make sure that the relevant categories in each force type share IDs - there's a drop down to do this easily. This is so the units in the HQ category in a primary detachment also show up in the HQ category in an allied detachment.

Hope that makes sense!

(Also, I'm a 40k player, so forgive my terminology ;))

I got the force added and I copied the format of the standard force for the WFB game system. But when I load the Armies of the End Times force, it doesn't bring up the categories in the roster builder. What did I do wrong?

Hmm. I suspect this is the categories thing. Does the "core" category in the normal force have the same unique ID as the "core" category in the end times force?

Roster editor won't show categories it thinks are empty of units. It will think a category is empty if there are no entries in it (based on the category ID).

To be clear, you need to take the game system file you originally created the catalogue file with, and add your new force to that.

Feel free to send the gstz and cats files to me: jon [dot] taylor [at] battlescribe [dot] net

(I won't get a chance to look at them until at least tomorrow though)
