Hi everyone. Not sure how active the list is now, but I'll wave to everyone here...

Recently decided I need some undeath in my life again. :vampire3: Starting to gather models with a few bigger bricks to get me going for core blocks. I've amassed 50 ghouls and 55 skeles and 20 zombies so far. I have a few character models and a dabble also from AOS lines. I am aiming for a respectable army from which I can go in several directions if I want.

I'm more of a collector / painter than a player. My group disbanded back in 6th Ed. but I still love the models and the art and I do enjoy painting. I had a good start to a VC army way back when, and sold it. So, I was bitten once more and well, off we go once more.

Lots of brilliant new pieces to work on too...

Welcome to the forum :) . The painting and modelling side still has activity and you are more than welcome to share your painting and progress over in the appropriate board as you go. I hope that you enjoy participating here.

Really glad to hear that. As I get things together and start paint jobs, I will be glad to set up a blog and share pics. I'm pretty chuffed to be doing these again! It should be fun!

Welcome to Carpe Noctem!
Let me tell you that to be a collector and painter is a solid way to go, as the new AoS models are stunningly beautiful!
I definitely agree, the new models and even some of the 8th Ed. models are stunning. I look forward to getting to them in the queue of my massive pile of shame. LOL I've been working on test pieces for color schemes on a few models and am jazzed. I love too how several of the core models really do come together fast once you start to sit down and get to work. I'm not used to that any more. Chorfs and Hobgoblins take a long time to paint; I love the old models, but man, they can be slow.
