It took a few weeks. This forum came back from the grave. I bought and started painting skeletons. Technically not breaking my no new GW products rule, as I got them second-hand on ebay.

Not as much as I would like. I have been very involved in my first love - Terrain making. I love and miss forums so much! Thank you for making an effort to bring this place back.

I play a modded version of Frostgrave, Rangers of Shadow Deep, Forbidden Psalm, The Dolorous Stroke, and a whole host of TTRPGs that I insist on building minis for, even if they don't get used on the table. My favourite game right now - and for the past 8 years is Dracula's America from Osprey...

It's too expensive. I, for a second, considered buying it. It was the day after release, and the online store told me that all three books were sold out. Rather than giving in to the FOMO, I considered it a bullet dodged. I have quit GW or Warhammer - whatever they are calling themselves...

Well, when you twist the wire together like that, it becomes work hardened and doesn't bend out of shape very easily. Ranking up is not really a problem. They are for the most part skirmishers and there is a specific pattern in which they can rank up together (when in close combat).

To re-answer that question. I just played my first ever, proper game of Warhammer. I took a unit of 10 and they got annihilated by a Jabberslyth. Although that was probably more my inexperience than theirs.
