    I don't understand how this would happen. When you pile-in you must pile-in towards the closest enemy model. That represents that the most threatening model (i.e. the closest) is the one you have to attack. What is gamist about that?

    Instead of look out sir, you just put enough models between your characters and their warmachines to block visibility. There is no bouncing or templates, so the character is usually safe.

    6th got simplified, all the army books dumped and replaced with a booklet called ravening hordes, the magic became the winds of magic power and dispel pools, regiments became the focus and all the hero-hammer nonsense was changed out. ironically, Age of Sigmar is doing a similar reset.

    Most of these rules aren't needed. The two I like are units within 3" of enemy can't shoot and summoned units can't act. Look out sir could make characters to strong.

    There are tactics that don't work without larger units. You can kite and lock down characters with disposable units while you're focusing your attacks on one of them. Also, Nagash synergizes better if you take units that give him summoning spells.

    I meant may. That is why I said you move up too. It's late here and I'm tired lol :P To clarify, like ia stated in my blog post, you DO NOT have to move when piling-in! That is how you maintain control in a specific position and block movement or maintain a shield wall etc.
