Well, I played a game the other day and tried Ogre Blade instead. It definitely helped against T5 ogre characters! Unfortunately he still managed to crush my unit of 10 BKs around me after the first round, and I ended up crumbling :(

So I took my purple Hexie to GW and proxied some old BKs on bases around him to make a unit, and the purple did NOT look good in teh army at all... :/ Having a go at black/grey now for the cloth barding, but I'm not pleased with it, maybe the highlights are done over too great of distance...

Sorry, not sure what everyone likes about the mantic sculpts except the price. The reds and yellow seem to be working, but yeah, tone down that white!

It's funny, but why is it zombies are the most fun to paint? They are so comical, and so useless in 8th! Do you feel at all that the individual character and attention you have given them adds a chaotic element to the army colour scheme? Hope I can be as great and prolific a painter as you!

I like the dirt! Why not put some on the skeletons, instead of just the shield?
