Wow that necrosphinx is really impressive. When I first saw the conversion I must admit I thought parts of the body looked a bit sloppy but I had no idea you could make the finished thing look that good.

@Duke Danse Macabre Hehe. Having read the books is no reason not to watch the show or movie though. Those guys that won't watch something because they read the book just come off as arrogant.

I would also like to add that I have had thoughts about making cooler templates before, not specifically wind of death though, but the thing that has always stopped me is that the more stuff you add to it the harder it will be to actually use. It's hard enough to count the number of models hit...

I havent done anything like it but there were several different small templates in an magic expansion for an older edition of warhammer. They were only small templates with different prints on them but one of them had something like that on it. Can't seem to find a picture of it though.

I would just like to say that I don't think blending is a technique by itself but there are different ways to blend. Such as wet blending, layering, glazes or washing. The same goes for highlighting. You have simple edge highlights or dry brushed highlights to harder stuff where you gradually...

I have only played one storm of magic game in which i gave my lord the super killy sword and as i had enough fulcrums or whatever he was auto hitting and auto wounding with red fury. Killed my opponents chimera on the charge.
