Nice work. I'm still not a fan of the Morghasts. A bit too 'fantasy' and not quite 'gothic' enough for me, but you've done a great job on them.
So, that might have been a bit vague.

There's also this one from Reaper that is pretty similar. He's about the same size as the Mantic ones, and mix well with them.
I didn't even notice there wasn't a painted picture here in your plog, but I really liked the subtle tones and look of their skin colors, and I was curious how you went about it. I assume it was mostly just light washes, many of them? I don't know if naming colors would help, I guess it depends on if I have/know the range you were using. But mostly the how, or what you did on them.
I didn't really used wash on them, I went the other way around. Meaning I started with dark color (black or dark gray), and used 2-3 lighter shades to highlight the models. Not quite a drybrush technique, but something similar (I like to call it wetbrush). Plus a good amount of highlight done by hand to finish the models. I did use some watered down colors for muscle definition, mostly on the arms and chest.
I used the colors from GW, and they are old pots, meaning it was black, codex grey, fortress grey, and white. I used the black and white to mix darker or lighter grey as needed.
The white one is a bit more special of course, but I followed the same technique as my white dire wolves unit, wich itself is something I "borrowed" from Harry on Warseer. You can see the technique he used on page 3 of his painting log.

Small update, and not quite part of my Lahmian army, but I painted Krell as part of the new "Turning the World to Darkness". I'll post here anyway :tongue:

Ah yeah, I though about putting some green on him, but all the verdigris on the bronze will be enough "green" for him, lest he'll look like a Christmas ornament

In fact I did the whole figure in a single day, so overall pretty easy and fun to paint!

Might as well post him here too; Luthor Harkon now done (and sporting some greens 
)! Painted him after posting Krell, so it was very quick to do.
As I said in the other thread, the first picture is not altered to show the skin tone the best I can, otherwise it's too white washed and looks off, but here we go;

Nicely done with the highlights on the black, those are hard. And the green tone is very pleasing.

Seconding @Adam_Barrow , I was also really surprised to see something not green on your plog I'm not completely sold on the white color on Krell, but it's done really well 
Luthor is a also a very good job, as usuall - congrats for making him ready so quick! Even if I had enough time on a single day, I don't know if I could paint one (hero) mini from start to finish so quickly

So how about another green-less Mortarch then Here's Constant Drachenfels;
The green doesn't match really well with the ghost effect, so I decided to not have green on him. I also decided to let his eyes all white, thought he looked cool that way. What do you think?

Ah! Great job. The graying hair adds to his nobleman look. Nice colors on the magical effect.

A very cool mini! He has this old horror movies feel to him and it's awesome. The etheral parts blend into the rest of him so well and he works very good even without your signature green I think white eyes were a great decision - I don't think any other option would fit better.

This latest update is not as interesting as I've been doing a few movement trays for some unit that needed it. But a finished tray is always great as it really complete the unit, although a bit boring to share in a log
Anyway, here's what I've done;
Next, I plan to work on the rest of my Spirit Host (6 more bases). I'll try to make them all at once, hopeful to not get bored midway and do something else After them, I have the last Mortarch on foot ready to start, so he should be here soon I hope!

Whoa, I don't know why someone would need so many spirit hosts, but they look awesome! The imperial cavalryman is my favourite and it's quite interesting that you used here not only cheap plastics but also such cool metal pieces as that goblin with two swords 
@Borgnine ;Well I actually have a few more bases left (I have 18 bases total), but I decided to graft the rest to my TK (ie; will be painting the bases as sand) for when I play with the Legion and want to have matching bases And I still have leftover models to make more, but that should not be necessary!
Yeah the Goblin Boss is pretty sweet, my friend gave it to me as he had an extra one, as well as all the other Orcs and Goblins I have. Gotta have the enemy among the rank The knight is a very old conversion I once made for an undead character/champion, but never got used and ended up recycled here as a ghost.
