I can think of a good place in Nottingham-

The Pit and the Pendulum, its a really awesome pub that serves ale, good food and is decorated in a fantasy style.

Why not have the meet-up sometime this year, then get everyone to start saving and have a massive *hopefully* full Carpe Noctem meet in a year or two? I'd love to come to the meet-up, but lacking the funds. I could come in a year or two, if the interest is still there.

Yea that pub is awesome- the downstairs/basement level restaruant/drinking are is decorated liek a dungeon- chains hanging from the walls, manicles, braziers etc
(Last time I went there!)

I have some dates as well that I would not be able to do, Sonisphere festival and the week before being one of them
(30th of July to 1st of August).
