Countdown from 20,000

[Duke Danse Macabre]

11850 That would be one too many sir.

[Uveron]

11849, well I expect we will overshoot.

[Duke Danse Macabre]

11848 By a fair margin as well i would say.

[Uveron]

11847, very likely. Should we talk about Vampire counts as we do this? ... Nah that sounds like work

[Duke Danse Macabre]

11846 Are you trying to insinuate sir that any of us here actually do any work?

[Disciple of Nagash]

11,845 - Do you realise we have been at this over 2 and a half years?!

[Uveron]

11,844 - 2 and a half years is a long time... so 2 more to go?

[The Dread King]

11,843 years to go before this thread is finished!

[Uveron]

11842 Days maybe..

[Count Darvaleth]

1184-1 - essentially the germany-brazil scoreline

[Harland]

11840 - since the beginning of this thread or the first "countdown from 100" thread?

[Uveron]

11839. Hopes dashed for a short thread:tongue:

[Duke Danse Macabre]

11838 We will get there eventually... Just just have to hope that technology becomes sentient so we are able to bargain with it sometime in the next 2 years.

[Uveron]

11837, may be though this rate is not that bad

[Duke Danse Macabre]

11836 Trust me, it never goes this smoothly for long.

13 Posts yesterday which is very good for this thread.
If we did 13 every day with 11836 being the current number it would take us not too much under 3 years to reach our goal.

[Uveron]

11835. True if we pick up the pace then may be it will be done quicker. A small cabal of people all online at the same time could really race it along.

[Theerteen]

11834 my head hurts

[Uveron]

11833. Thunder and lightning fill the sky of Oklahoma as I write this. Glad its the last day if work. Afternoon of gaming awates

[spineyrequiem]

11832 my throat still hasn't recovered from Monday night. This is a problem because I have a choral course tomorrow.

[Uveron]

11831. Ouch what happened on Monday?

[spineyrequiem]

11830 Babymetal gig. This meant screaming a LOT of choruses.

[Uveron]

11829. What is a babymetal?

[spineyrequiem]

11828 This is babymetal

Note that British crowds get WAY more into it than the Japanese ones. Imagine 2400 metalheads all screaming 'HEADOBANG HEADOBANG HEADOBANG' etc. in unison right from the start, and doing the growled parts in 'Catch me if you Can'. Quite a lot of people tried to join in on the dances too. Mostly we failed.

[Uveron]

11827. Oh dear.

[Duke Danse Macabre]

11826 I sense the Rape in the eyes of the crowd from here... Worrying.
