allright folks, i didnt manage to finish the greenstuff projects in time, so until i do, here's a little something else ive been hiding up my sleeve

i belive you are all familiar with the ForgeWorld wight king standard bearer, however his skull was so awkward that i had to replace it. now this new head only needs tiny improvements with greenstuff to blend perfectly with the chainmail

and the skulls on his banner was likewise unsuited for the task

currently im thinking about wich BSB to use, can't make up my mind about it either

I personally would pick the blank canvas.. I'd rather paint up a nice banner to be BSB rather than that kinda iffy looking bat-monster thing on the flesh canvas.. Bleh, that thing is just kinda lack luster; Although the skeletons holding it up is a really great touch/flair, but you could do up that blank one a bit more 'Undead' to make it just as cool I'm sure

Cheers everyone, havent been on here for a while.. sorry about that, too much stuff in my everyday life taking up all my time, and the recent release of Diablo might also have had something to do with it

but rest assured, dispite my absence the minions of undeath does not rest!
so to make sure something happened on the hobby front i went and grabbed a seat at in the hobby corner
and.... it just so happens that i got some stuff today

and after some initial work..

i present to thee, (still to be greenstuffed in the head) the Death Jester:skull:
just a ploy char, but still, pretty nifty

also had a last minute change of mind for my krell

I'll try to update more, hopefully some orders will arrive this week or the coming, either way its nerdvania here atm!

tried to make the mixmatching bits fit as well as i could in order to make the greenstuffing less of a pain

either way, he's had a few upgrades.. and now he will fit right into anybodys nightmares

Where is the head on the grim reaper from?

its from the toomb kings warsphynx/whatnot kit. the riders on the howdah (is that how you spell it?) has those enlaged heads. alot bigger than the VC ones tbh! one almost gets sad when thinking about how VC would have looked if they were released now

either way, i got another shipment! i am now officially broke lol
but that also means that im gonna have alot of time on my hands to finish up all this stuff, and the coming days there will be alot of updates since im dusting off my airbrush and get to work on my now complete army

...or what am i saying? undead armies can never become complete! so lets just call it "reletively optimized army" or almost complete

this post might not fit so well in the Project log, but im posting it here either way. i had my second battle with the new VC, and hurridly put most stuff together and duked out a fantacalyptic 4666pts battle against my GF's dark elves..

it ended in a closely fought minor defeat, contributed by her damnable repeater crossbow elves and femenine charm

heroes of the match was my 'counts as' Kemmler that took out the horrid Crone Hellebron on her manticore before she could cause too much harm, and my Strigoi vamp that kept my armies from crumbling after my general fell, creds to them!

cheers reaper, its made of several parts, main body is the light wizard(the cobraheads-one) from the celestial hurricanum/Luminark of Hysh, aswell as the right arm/hand from the regular warrior priest from volkmar the 'not so' grimm's war altar of sigmar, head is a regular flaggelant, and the two chains are cut and bent to make him more.. evil!:skull: i had a few other heads for him, but so far so good, cut away the stitches on his mouth so only two are visible and those resemble fangs now

and ill surely check out that ghoul challenge, tbh ive already started on the ghouls as my first painted unit in the army (i liked them so much after they tore thru those flimsy elves! im definetly gonna pick up another 20!) so a challenge will fit in just about right what time frame are we talking about?

btw heres a little sneakpeak at a little something ive cooked up for you guys, in the absence of so little painted i thought i could do a little something as compensation just started on it, but it wont take that long
