In all seriousness, I have thought this over before, and Drakenhof has doors designed to fit the "pets" (i.e. Zombie dragons) of the Carsteins through, also they are massive because it is Drakenhof, of course they have big doors there. So I think an oversized worm could fit through.

Whot?

The Dragons are outside up in the sky.

The doors where "designed" to let people in as the castles infrastructure is pretty much the same from when the von Draks lived there.

Also I thought the Wyrm was massive?

Anyway even if it did somehow squeeze through the doors it wouldn't fit down any of the halls anyway so it would just sit blocking up the front entrance of the castle.

Fairly pointless I'd think.

4. Almost everyone has arrived but AFAIK we are waiting on three? people. Verdant Heart (not sure if he's going to the meeting at all though), Archivist's character and the Character with him.

Oh right... forgot about the tinkers/tomb-raider duo... They've been trying to work their way in for quite a bit now... And it appears I was largely right about most of the castle things.

So close, yet so far...
Harland and I are bringing Roland and Faust in soon, I hope. Harland's been working on a bandit post, then we'll arrive.

It got blown into pieces so the one Morty ressurected is much smaller than the original. Morty is not currently wearing his helmet.

That's fair and makes sense for it to be able to worm it's way down the hall!

I was really tempted to post with Karl going
Karl looked down at Morturion and magnanimously replied "No"

But I might leave this one for Simon

The original, mechanical worm was as wide as an abomination or two and about three to four times as long. Don't know what happened since then: it got nurglified or somesuch thing, then it grew arms, legs and a head I think, then Rowhaine killed it. Now Morty resurected what remained of the carcass and stuffed it full of zombies.

In other words, it looks disgusting, and really is actually more likely to trip over its own limbs than be very effective. Sorry Morty, but it's basically a bag of metal, wood, flesh and necromancy, none of which works together anymore.

So... I've got a quick question that has been bugging me for a bit... Is Morturion trying to get himself killed? Is he trying to test the limits of just how much he can mess with and piss off the vampires in the council room before they snap and decide he is too much work for what he is worth? I mean... No offence... But I honestly don't see the vampires of the castle just letting some random necromancer (at least in their eyes) just let a giant monster of a creature into their home... especially the von carstiens. If I'm not mistaken, I'm fairly certain they are a very vain bunch, and the monstrosity is probably ruining the halls and everything decorating them... I don't think that the super secret ninja vampires that are hiding everywhere are just going to sit there and let their home's halls be redone by a necromancer's pet giant worm beast. Just my opinion... And showing up with the monster that the council just had an epic battle fighting probably isn't the best idea for Morturion's public relations...

Do we have to fight morturion now? Jeez can't Rowhaine, or Kraskor or something just insta kill him so we can get back to the meeting?

The fact of the matter is this: We're posting faster than DoN can keep up with, we're just digging ourselves into another hole.

This made me laugh for some reason.
But see! This is why Karl has been abit Harsh with Morty! If it wasn't for OOC friendliness in TVC though Mort would definitely be dead a few times over from a couple of the Council members and von Carsteins I'd say.

Nekhlior currently wants to blast him apart which is why I'm not posting yet XD

The council wasn't exactly trying to have him survive though were they?:suck:

Edit: crap, forgot about dieter. Stupid bodyguard guarding bodies

Grrrrr

Everyone forgets Dieter :(

Why did it matter out of curiosity?

Edit: I think we should stop posting until DoN catches up guys for the reason Luci give.

Hopefully DON sees the PM I sent him, if Mikhail is approved I have a really good idea/ secret that would tie in pretty well with my character though thought I should send it to DON first to see if it is ok to make sure it makes sense.

Also out of curiosity how the Vampires after Nagash's demise invaded the empire but were pushed back eventually. Did they capture any main cities or towns as well as kill any major empire or other nation leaders as I am trying to go through the previous chapters as well as the first TVC but boy is there a lot to read probably take me ages to read everything

It wasn't all the vampries just the von Carstein's under the leadership of the Triumvirate (all three served on the first council).

There's more info in the Organisation thread where Simon has outlined points of the Carstein Empire but

Geography: The Von Carstein Empire is the latest power to emerge in the Old World. Geographically it is made up of the former Border Princes and the former imperial provinces Wissenland, Averland, Stirland and parts of Ostermark all based around Sylvania. Its official borderlines are drawn at the River Stir to the north and Blood River and the Black Gulf to the south.

I think that answers your question, if you go to the organisation thread there is more detail especially on significant territories.

The von Carstein forces haven't exactly been pushed back it's just their advance began to slow then eventually stopped and now they're trapped in a stalemate with the Empire.

Yes, please for the love of Chuck Norris let me catch up! I had a nice post written up and now I need to go and amend it....*grumbles*

In a meeting in a mo so will likely have to post this evening as work only gives access to this site at lunch time :(
