Hello Everyone,
started playing Vampire Counts in 6th edition and the warhammer group I play with has a lot of Veteran players so it has been a tough learning curve , I got my butt kicked all the time.
I have been enjoying playing more with the new book and have actually won a few games against some tough players in our group and just recently I won in a 10K game against Lizardmen.
Looking forward to posting in the forums and gaining some tips and ideas from my fellow Vampire Players.

hi all, recently started collecting and looking forward to my stay here, this seems to be an active forum where questions wil be answered :)

Hey gang, I'm a 40K player looking to possibly join the Fantasy ranks. If I do I'll probably join the ranks of the undead. (thinking about chaos warriors, lizardmen or orcs).

My 40K armies of interest(Space Wolves, Orks, Chaos Marines, Codex Marines)

Greetings to Artisturn, Spook290 & Blood Soaked.

A warm welcome to CN for all of you.

I hope you enjoy the forum, and of course we will do our best to help you out.

If you do have any questions feel free to ask.

Hello all!

My name's Nic, I'm 29 from Australia. I've been into RPGs since I was a kid and it naturally developed into a love of wargaming.

I've been playing on and off for the last 17 or so years. Gaming with miniatures for me began with Hero Quest! Then progressed to 40k but I've finally come to Warhammer Fantasy which is firmly my favourite.

I started out with Dark Elves, and still play with them, but after deciding I needed a new challenge the Vampire Counts have been my latest project.

My main interests are army themes along with conversion work, but I do enjoy painting and gaming as well.

I've been reading a fair amount of the forums here for a little while and learnt a fair amount which is helping me in my gaming. I decided it's about time to say hello and introduce myself.

So, hi everyone! Good to be here!

Greetings,

I am Zakilu, I hail from Saskatchewon (the rumors don't lie, it is THAT flat), Canada...

I'm fairly new to warhammer, I was mostly interested in the Tomb Kings, but my love for them faded as I tired of one theme for the army, the Vampire Counts beckoned with their diverse models and lots of "graphic" designs

I've read a few pages on painting, and a few tactica...

in all regards, I belive in a gorey, gut strewn, rotting army causing a blight on the land is the way to go...

just gonna be a sport!

Welcome NMatuzic & Zakilu!

I hope your stay with us will be long....very long......... Make sure you both start painting logs and check out the links in my sig to some interesting projects.

Any questions just ask.

hi, Ive been playing Nechrach Vampire armies for 7 years or so. My converted war wagon now has the possibility of flying. Im happy with the new edition other than the odviously abusable magic. I like lots of zombies and a balanced list. Remember vampire players, we can never die! Being fun to play agaist is the most important aspect to any army. Vampire players must take special care to not fall victem to the lure of big magic and power characters. We are not demons yet we get lumped with them! Go fuzzy vampires!

Welcome to CN, oh Destroyer. :)

I wholeheartedly agree with your statement and applaud your insight and clarity! :vampire2:

My name is Greg, and I'm a Warhammeraholic...

I'm a beast player at heart but with my Beasts horribly nerfed and needing a new army to paint up I was drawn to Vamps because like everyone here I think Vamps are cool as hell...

I'm joining this forum with my army maybe 10% painted and 25% assembled, so I gues I should start an army diary, I have one on Herdstone (remember I'm a longtime Beast player) but its more appropriate to post it where actual VC players are :)

Hi there Greg!

You'll find yourself right at home here with us Vampire-lovers. An army painting log is always a good motivator to keep on trucking, so yes, you should get one of those up. :)

Welcome!

Hello everyone! I'm primarily a painter of miniatures (don't play VC), but have always had a soft spot for GW Vampires (particularly the classic stuff). I stumbled upon this site while looking up Vampire Counts stuff online, and figured I'd sign up. I'm a career lurker, so if I post infrequently, I apologize in advance. I'm enjoying checking out the painters galleries, and maybe one of these days I'll actually try out playing Counts in Warhammer.

Hi, I'm Smokingmonkee. I'm planning on starting a Vampire Counts army and am currently trying to plan it out. I'm in Canada and stumbled upon this informative board.

Cheers!

Hello fellow haunters in the night. I am StellaNacht, beastialle vampyr lord of Wolf Crag :konrad:

I have played Warhammer for the last ten or eleven years, primarily Warhammer 40,000 with the occassional fantasy army. I mostly focus on painting and converting, as well as writing background for my various armies and the characters who lead them. I'm trying to get back into fantasy, as I like the slightly lighter-heartedness of the fantasy world, as well as the more in depth strategy and tactics that are required to play the game.

Vampire Counts have always been one of my favorite armies, I originally had a huge army amassed, but had to unfortunately sell it to make a hasty car insurance payment. Now I am rebuilding my forces, and i have thus far gathered under my thrall 4 Vampire models (Konrad von Carstein, an older Blood Dragon model, the current edition Beastial Vampire, and an old, old, old Lhamian Vampire from at least three editions ago); A Varghulf (by far my favorite model ever ^^), 16 Skeleton Warriors, 10 Ghouls (being a strigoi, I plan to have many, many more), and a corpse cart.

Hi there SellaNacht, welcome to CN. :)

If you fancy yourself as a modeller and painter you'll want to create a painting log where you can share your creations with us. The Crypts can never have enough eye candy. :)

And if you like building up a character, join TVC. The posts seem to be drying up and we need fresh blood. Nagash isn't going to defeat himself you know!

Hi,

I've been lurking here for a while now and have finally decided to join. I've been playing VCs for a long, long time (since before the village elders were born probably :vampire2:). I do a lot of illustration work for CDO, including the webcomic short Shadow and Flame and hope to be contributing some work to this site too.

My undead will be off to the GT in just over 2 weeks, so I may need some feedback there too....

Well, I'm back to CN. A lot has changed since the old invision days that's for sure. I had to pack all my WH armies in a box when I graduated from High school. Awhile back I played Necrarchs and loved their fluff. Some of you may even remember the Saga of Hugh and the many adventures that followed.

I'm finally back home after finishing several months of training for my job in the US Marine Corps. Until my unit goes to the sand pit I'm here at home working out and playing warhammer again. My vamps did not survive the long sleep very well. So, that means a page 1 rewrite of my army. Once I get a camera, I'll start up a army diary for people to follow.

I love the new site, good work on MV. I shall miss him. W'Soran be praised I've come back!

regards,
Lord Crosis

Johnny B - Glad to see you here from CDO. I sent a PM regarding the Invocation xd

Lord Crosis - Welcome back to CN. Even though MV is leaving CN will remain the same fun place.

If both of you have any questions just let me know.

Welcome to CN! This is indeed a strange place... Keep your wits about you, or You might very well fall prey to buying a timeshare off zombie Bob... A fate worse than death itself...

See you in the forum
