Holy crap, 20K worth of Orks? You're a man after my own heart. I got some Orks as well, though I'm just a fledgling with about 1000, maybe 1500 points. I'll get to decent sizes eventually, though. It'll happen.

He said 10k, Oni.

Oh yeah, and welcome all those whom I have not already welcomed!

I think you're looking at the wrong poster Vekarin. Lord Vecna above has the 10k worth of Orks while Obscura just above Onikaigo does indeed have 20k. :vampire2:

Welcome to all of you new ones!

Hey. I'm FelineHatred (as in a felines hatred, not the hatred of felines), and this is a little post about me.

My first name is Ray. I own Dark Elves, Vampire Counts, Orks and Goblins, Dwarfs, and multifarious 40k armies. I play tons of pen and paper, figurine, and video games. I'm almost a black belt, I eat things so bad for you but so delicious that dieing before age 30 is unavoidable and acceptable. I was an RPG forum moderator on the Druchii fansite, but after events conspired me to leave many hanging for months, I fled in exile, unable to show my face from the shame. I don't know who I've loved most, but I've loved Vampire Counts longest. The undead always had a special place in my heart (right under the stake).

That's me in a nutshell. Any questions (there won't be any, we know) can be directed to me by pm or reply. Thanks for reading this far.

Howdy all, My name is Jos (dutch name) I'm fromt the Netherlands, I'm 20 years old, i play Ogre Kingdoms and 40k Orcs, and im looking towards starting a Vampire Counts army, wich brought me here ;) As for other hobby's i love to read 40K novels, video games and caring for my exotic pets. Greetings, my fellow breathren of the night!

Yet another thrall has joined the ranks of the night-dwelling horde!

A friend of mine saw you guys and The Invocation mentioned on warseer, and knowing the acolyte I am, he told me of this forum ;)
It all looks and sounds great, I'm looking forward to contributing to the community :)

I just joined these forums and would like to take the time to let you know a little bit about me. I'm Stephen Morphey 25 years of age. Glad to join here and I am hoping to make some wonderful friends along the way. Nice to meet you all.

Hi! My name is Rochie, i've been collecting little metal men for the guts of 14 years now, but it's only in the past couple of years that i've started to paint armies rather than single models, with vampire counts being the latest! I have to say I'm really impressed with this site, not only with the standard of painting but also the ideas for conversions that get thrown around. I've had a lot of inspiration for my models from just reading the posts.
Now it's time for me to contribute something of my own.....please be gentle!

Thanks for reading!

Howdy folks.

My name is Shane, I've collected warhammer armies on and off for the last 21 years *just working that out made me wince* I suffer from the same problem as most warhammer-aholics, I tend to hop from one army to the next without ever painting half of the models I buy. However, this time it's gonna be different *honest*
My father secretly collected an undead horde when I was a youngster, painting through the night and any time I was out of the house so that he could suprise me with an arse kicking *much deserved as I was playing High elves* From then on I've been almost in awe of the undead yet never thought to make my own army... until now. So fingers crossed you'll be seeing my progress in the dark arts forum over the coming months.

Thanks for having me :)

Welcome to all the new guys I haven't welcomed yet.

Consider yourself lucky. I tend to hop to the next army before I've even painted a single model...

I can only agree with TDS here, surely there's more to us here on Carpe Noctem than paints and glue, eh Shane? :Vampire1:

Anyway, I'd like to say Welcome to all of you new folks. Good to have you here! :)

I think you've confused me with Rochie MasterSpark, I would never even consider uttering such a slight on the friendly folk of this forum. Unlike some new members >.>

Oops sorry, you're right about that Shane. That's what I get for crawling right up in front of my computer from my bed when waking up.

Now I'm looking at you, Rochie. :Vampire1:

Hey, I'm charismatic and creative VC player from finland, counts was my first army when I started to collect warhammers now four years ago, there have been Tomb Kings, Dark Elves, Chaos Mortals, Wood Elves and stuff in between but I have always returned to my bloodsuckers.

My armies are starting to be complete if measured by own models: 40 skeletons, 65 zombies, 50 ghouls, 20 dire wolves, 11 fell bats, 3 spirit hosts, 16 Black Knights, 50 Grave Guardians, 13 wraiths (2 of them are banshees), 2 Varghulfs, Black Coach and 5 blood Knights. Only models missing are Corpse Carts and Bat Swarms (aren't they cool? huh!?).

But well, most of these models are unpainted, unassembled or just in too bad condition to field. Even though I have now raised my painting and assembling and converting speed there are still much work to be done, very much.

I have quite long fluff for my army (too bad it's written in Finnish), but it's name is The Legion of Deathrose, and colourtheme is light blue - gray/black - white and the banners are always light green and contain latin phrases about death, dead or the dying; Memento mori, Vive memor leti, Mortui vivos docent etc...

This project is quite huge afterall, but I'm seeing it a nice mix of all the art's I like producing (writing, painting, inventing, and somehow warfare. https://www.vampirecounts.net/images/smilies/newsmilies/pumpkin.gif).

Well, this ends here, I assume.

Racfaul de Morduar is pleased to join your respectable company.

If you start a painting log, you'll soon see that you get (even) more motivated to work on your models, so please start one (another reason why you should do just that, is because I want more shiny pictures to look at XD).

Oh and welcome to the forum by the way.

Actually I have couple of pics about my VC models on my computers, of WK, some GG:s and skeletons. I would hit a nice start with them.

It is nice to feel a warm welcome from the forums!

edit: damn, I haven't yet mastered the dark art of posting in these forums yet it seems. :D

Hello everyone!

The name is Meraklis and I am a Greek currently living in Japan, Tokyo.
I have been a long time lurker in this forum and I must say that I really enjoy the various topics that are discussed here! My main interest is painting and converting so rest assured that you will see me more active in that part of the forum ;)

Gaming wise I have been playing warhammer for 17 years now (I started at the tender age of 12)...I have many armies painted to varying degrees of quality (H.Elves, Dwarves, Bretonnians, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings) but my 2 most favored armies are the High Elves and the Tomb Kings.

With the release of the new Vampire book last year however, I realized that I simply had to raise a new army so without much thinking I bought the spearhead, a battalion and a boxed set of Blood knights. I also added a lot of army of the dead minis from the LoTR range plus some Reaper minis that really look cool! unfortunately I still need to paint most of it...Real life leaves hardly any free time to do any painting these days... :(
Hopefully I should be able to start a Painting Log soon...Looking forward to your comments !

hey im henk 18 dutch and while reading your forum i decided i kinda liked the idea of resurecting the bloodlines so i would like to try that and beyond that might be useful to have an account here if i have some questions

Hello to all of you new ones! Whatever it is that you need for your Vampire Counts, I am sure that you'll find it or be able to obtain it here. :)

See you around the forums!

Hi all.

I've been toying with playing WFB for about 10 years. I had some Skaven, then sold them. Then I bought Lizardmen, then sold them. I've probably played about 2 games, but I listen to a lot of the podcasts and visit a few forums.

Now I've decided to try to get off of my lazy butt and get some stuff modeled. I've had this idea for a long time of a Kislev-themed VC army. I'll post the list I'm considering later on, but I'm including some of the old Kislev models and some appropriate Storm of Chaos minis.

I hope that being on here will encourage me to finish more minis and actually get a few games in!

Hi all,

I'm more a converter and painter than gamer, i hope to have some projects up for you to peek at soon.
I'm a definate supporter of all things ugly, vampires that is -> :Vampire1: <- the good old bestial vampires to the rotten husks still wearing the tattered burial gown.

Welcome to Carpe Noctem,

We love seeing converted work, so I look forward to hopefully seeing your strigoi conversions. If you do have any questions feel free to ask.
