Hello,

I'm addict, I've been playing this game far too long . VC is an army I always wanted to have, and picked them up around 2 year's ago, played a few games, didn't like the 7ed book, so I stopped. But I continued to convert my army, I'm building a Sylvania themed force. so lot's of work.

Welcome KillerK.
I would like to see some pictures of that sylvanian army of yours :)
I hope a lot off empire soldiers suffer from mass decay while you are working on that project

An ominous beating starts up, echoing across the forums, as if some lackey named Louie was hitting a plastic wheely bin with a broom handle. The beating starts to increase in tempo and suddenly a billowing cloud of thick dense black smoke expands before you, unfurling like some great beast. The beating becomes almost frantic and then a new sound is produced, a sound that is both strange and fear inducing at the same time, a hacking cough.

A figure stumbles from the black smoke, waving away the last vestiges of it from his face, hacking loudly.

"Louie! Louie! you moron, what the hell did you make that smoke from?" The figure yells at the billowing smoke pillar. A muffled reply comes from it and the figure looks shocked, "What?! What do you mean the gas from car? for fu......Louie, did you make sure you cleaned it up because," The figure is interrupted and hurled backwards as the cloud explodes, fire seething through the black smoke. The figure picks himself up off the ground, "Louie! that was my car?! where the hell am I going to get a 81 Honda like that?"

So, I'm Monkey King. Been away from Warhammer for about 4 years, starting back up with the VC's, though before I was playing Dwarfs, just wanted a change of pace....haha, intentional joke there. So yeah, have at it :P

Hi, just thought I would introduce myself. I have been collecting VC's since the 5th ed army book came out for them. They were the first Warhammer army I started to collect properly and remain my favourite (along with Chaos Dwarfs!). I haven't used them much in 8th ed yet but I have been planning to unearth them soon for some more action.

See you on the message boards!

Hello Everybody

Veteran WHB player here- so far it was mostly Skaven, my biggest love but I also have nearly complete goblins army, witch hunter army based on empire army book and now I deceided i like the sound of VC enough to start collecting them as well. Will be checking that forum more often from now to learn useful tactics etc. Playing a game tomorrow against High elves using proxies, just to get the feel of army.

Wow, quite a few people signed up recently.

A big warm welcome to you all and I hope you enjoy the forum. If you do have any questions please feel free to ask, and remember, if in doubt, take the perverted option xd

Hi all

This is my first post at this forum after finding many useful contributions for the hobby. I'm from Australia and have something of a zombie fetish so VC was really the only choice for me! I started playing WHFB in 98' with a small Dark elves army but didnt get very far. Now that time and money permits I'm starting to get into local tournaments so would gladly welcome any feedback... can't wait to put up my first tournament battle report for dissection!

hey guys, one more new member incoming. dont worry though, im an old hand at warhammer, or at least theoryhammer. i tend to buy a ton of stuff and get bored and never use it. currently im technically a skaven player, but as i have only 20 or so assembled and dont seem to be assembling any more i dont think that counts, but the 100 or so i havent assembled, along with hellpit abomb, beg to differ.

things i like... putting some character into characters (no pun intended). and tooling them accordingly. battles that play out epicly, and end with some flair. ranting (you may have to bear with me on that one as its mostly accidental).

things i dislike... many, many things. the new grey knights and tomb kings for a start. cheezy armies. painting. assembling. the explanation i have to give when i start another army without ever finishing one. the fact i spend money in GW without wanting to or meaning to. fighting tau/eldar with grey knights and having everyone die before seeing combat. the fact typus dosent have feel no pain. the fact you cannot wield an army of VC without a vampire.

hoping to become a valuable member of the community. not really as pessimistic as this post would make out. looking forward to chatting with u guys. xD

Greetings

When I was a kid I used to play with a Blood Angels army - as I have always had a taste for blood - but for quite a number of years I have been absent from the hobby. Recently I came across the Black Library and was once again drawn in - although this time I was drawn to the embrace of the Vampire Counts.

I have decided to do this properly and I have a number of conversion ideas that I will be putting into motion over the next few months.

My general will be Count Ulrich von Raetia; in life he was a lord and knight of the Empire. In death he commands, along with Countess Elizabeta von Raetia, the Obsidian Brotherhood. The Brotherhood seeks to rise amoungst the ranks of the dead and the damned and become a force that both other vampires and humans will come to know and fear.

Cattle die, kinsmen die
the self must also die
but glory lives forever.

Sounds good Ulrich! I hope to see some of your stuff later! welcome to the forums, I'm sure if you need ask for any help with your conversions there will be a large number of people willing to assist you.

Hey guys, been in the hobby for around 9 years now. More of a painter than gamer but still love a good game. First army of choice was VC but I was too much of a little tacker to get a completed army. Got some models off a mate and I'm intently looking forward to finally getting an undead horde! Should get some of my skellies posted up over the next few weeks or so.
Cheers,

Hey all,

Long time player, new to this board. I've recently traded in the VC of a friend which I started painting on a while ago. I knew I had to take them over, or the paint job would have been wasted. Now I want to complete the job and what place better to start looking for info than here?

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

My name is KillerShrew (my picture can be found here), and I'm really new to Warhammer FB world.

I've been playing WH40K for some time now. I've played many armies including space marines, orks and now dark eldars.

I've always told myself, that if I ever was to collect any WFB army, it would have to be VC. And here I am ;) I really like the fluff, and the dark-ish feel of the army.

Happy to be here!

Cheers!
KS.
