Hi Guys! Apparently I joined this forum way back in 2008, but I have no recollection of doing so, so I'll introduce myself.

My name's Michael, I'm from NE England, and I've been playing on and off for 12 Years. I'm 24.

Now, I haven't played a single game since 6th edition, so I'll probably be needing a lot of help, so I'll be lurking on tactics and army lists a lot!
My local GW is hosting a 1200 point league, starting in a month, so I'm going to take a stab at making a list, and throwing it up for critique.

This place seems excellent, and I'm looking forward to being part of the community.

Ciao!

Well eve Lads and ladys.
Have come back to WFB after 18 years break. Been playing now for 2 years Empire. So for a side projekt ill give VC a try. Like painting but not realy good at it but ill post some of My efforts later. :)
If any one is having any trubble with Empire pm me and ill try to help ya.

Hi I'm Fayzer0, a long time Tomb King who has been beguiled by the rules and theme of the VC.
I hope to be playing me first VC game against the new Lizards next week and will doubtless have questions before and after the game.
Now if only they would let me use my Casket :devil2:

Hi all, Aidan here! New to the forum but I've been playing GW since '91.
I've got about 8000 points of VC and 5000 of Orcs & Goblins. I also play
Imperial Guard (not sure points wise right now 4-5000 maybe) and Orks for 40K.
My VC army is a mostly GW with a nice mix of Mantic Undead. It was started in '98 or so when my wife got me a Black Coach. Nice to be here hope to get to know everyone a little better as time goes! xD

Greetings,

I am Korihor the cursed, member of the black counsel, victor of the Battle of Khan Torith. I hope to make a name for myself here in the Carpe Noctem forums... eager to be part of this thriving brotherhood.
:konrad:

Hi!

I am a fairly new VC player. I've played DWARFS for many years, but I sure would like an army that might win a game or two :-D

I live in Norway (waaay up north in Europe) with my wife and two deamo... kids! My youngest kid is 10 and he prefers Warhammer 40k. He looks more like the plumber than me... My oldest kid is 17 and she prefers One Direction... My wife prefer top model on TV...

I usually spend alot of time in my gameroom by myself...

That's it I guess. I am of to post so Qs somewhere in this forum :-)

Hi!
Resently joined the VC side of the Fantasy aspect of Warhammer
Been playin' TK for a while but the darkness of VC has lured me in.

So now this Swede has joined and shall be victorious here aswell!

Hullo!

I've been mainly collecting and painting miniatures for over 25 years now, starting with Wood Elves in 3ed WFB and later Eldar in 2ed 40k. I now own a good few armies for a number of GW and non-GW tabletop, but I've never really given WFB a chance for a good while until I played against a friend's High Elf army. Now I'm hooked!

I've gathered up a small army for LGS games and I'm now bulking them up with non-GW models for larger games against friends. After playing Skyrim and seeing the White Walkers on Game of Thrones, I've got a good idea for the look I want for my army.

Looking forward to making CN my new lair!

@Strikkepinne: Welcome to CN! I'm sure that there are many people on this forum who live in a similar area as you, hunt them down and get some good games in. So let me get this straight, Your wife, Your 10 year old, and your 17 year old will allow you to sit in your game room in peace and quite! How I envy you sir. I too jumped from Dwarfs to Vamps, and trust me, you will not be disappointed, this is a whole new ball game my friend.

@Corroded Lance: Also, Welcome to CN! I know that there are a few from sweden here! You've joined the better team, we have zombies, and sometimes cookies when it's someone birthday! but not TK's, they give you sand.... and disappointment. Have fun and learn things!!

@Fealhach: You are not welcome to CN! I don't know what it is about Fantasy, but man, it hooks ya good! You're not alone in using non-GW toys, everybodies doing it, you just kinda have to to be cool now adays. Roam the forums and don't be afraid to ask what ever question you like! We pride ourselves on being the friendliest bunch on the web!

Hello, Dimreapa here. I'm going to post my own hello thread (cos I tend to write essay-length posts), so I'll keep things short and sweet. I'm from Durham, UK, and this looks like a great forum for some chat, so we'll hopefully get to know each other in the future. Not the world's biggest fan of WHFB, but since the fall of Conf, there's no better looking Undead out there in my opinion.

Thank you for the welcome Malochai! I'm not quite sure where I will be posting, but I'm definitely intrigued by the Necrarch Workshop. I'm not up on Warhammer stuff as much as my interest for 40k, but as a writer of many random things there's definitely a few sections and projects I could sink my teeth into. Hehe, :clown: how apt...

Greetings Larenthian and Dimreapa! Have a nice time at Carpe Noctem, and I'm sure, Dimreapa, that you'll find plenty of responses to any stories (in Tales from the Crypt).

It's probably time I said hi in this thread! I posted about an idea for a VC army a year or two ago, and just recently got the bug again. But I've been lurking and reading and drawing inspiration from these forums for two or three years, now, poking in when my interest in building an army flared up, then disappearing again.

I've read some great stories here, but I'll mainly be looking for inspiration and help in modeling/converting, followed (eventually) by painting.

Oh if you have some other stories up somewhere, slap me a PM!

Welcome Leithreas! As I've discovered already, very friendly bunch in here.

P.S. @Shareya: I've dropped you a PM. I'll be putting some of the fluff I've posted on forums (plus a few others if they occur) on my blog. If anyone else is interested in reading my (mostly Ork) stories, I'll be putting a link to my blog in my signature.
