Hello i'm Sauron.

I originally started collecting undead back in the early 90s. I sold most of the original army and moved on to Chaos Warriors. Then I quit for 10 years. I am now back into painting, and customizing miniatures and have returned to unlife.

I am now busy building a Lahmian army with a slighlty Khemri and Bretonian theme.

So far I have started my spirit hosts (made from bretonian men at arms), sculpted two cairn wraiths (from green stuff) and assembled a Varghulf from a few Chaos miniatures. I shall post these projects soon for you to have a look at.

Hey everybody, been playing VC for a few months now. Just hit 1500 points, and it's my first time on a VC forum. Originally played DE, have 2.5k points of that. (VC is my 8th ed army, fear nerf /sigh)

Greetings gentlemen and gentleladies,

I am RTGamer. Signed up so that I can get ideas for my newest VC army. I have had several including an army of Sylvania from the storm of chaos. Currently working out and planning a Strigoi/Beastial vampire list...

Need your help immortals!

Thanks and hope to blog my progress here.

Hello,

I have been colecting Vampire Counts/Undead ever since the first army book came out and can field about 5000 points. However I have been out of the game for a couple of years and am now only just dusting off the models again. As me and my friends are only just getting a feel for the game again we are still playing 7th edition but in time will move on to 8th.

Heya.
About time I got around to introducing myself around here.

I'm the Duke/ DDM.
20 Years old, live in the UK up in Sunderland and work for a energy company.

Quite the internet gamer but have always preferred table top, Dark Heresy is normally my RP vice.
Players Warhammer since I was 6 (dad got me into it) was mainly 40k, got sucked into LOTR when I was 12 and started Warhammer VC when 15 and never changed since.
I have always picked a army and stuck with it, 40k was blood angels and tell me how you can beat space vampires? xD

I love converting models and making fluff characters, Drakenfels and Jerik Von Carstein are my main works at the moment besides my unit fillers, new mage, isabella and the new CC.
I have my fingers in alot of pies. :perv:

I find myself to be a magic heavy ghoul player but I never miss a op to field my converted Abyssal Terror with lord. :scared:

Recently had great success with my army winning about 80% of matches with 90% of my losses against Chaos..... Go figure. :P

Anyway I would describe myself as running off fanaticism and a constant supply of outrage and anger, my voice is like a cement mixer full of gravel which someone has thrown a cat into and my approach to life I would say is akin to being a loose cannon, a very loose, very, very big cannon that fires nuclear-tipped artillery shells into heavily populated areas in the middle of dinner. :devil2:
Good thing I work in customer service.

Anyway I like to jump in with both feet and get to know people so I will probs be about alot.
Hope to see you around and its a please being able to meet everybody.

How did you get into wargaming?
My brother and I got into 40k a few years back and then I decided to try warhammer fantasy and I personally like it better so here I am.

How did you get into Vampire Counts?
I have always loved the idea of necromancy, and vampires(except for twilight ones) are awesome so it was just perfect, mindless hordes to swarm over the enemy!

Do you have any other Warhammer armies?
Lizardmen, and I am still pretty new to warhammer 8th edition. I still have close to 3000 pts of Lizardmen(and am just starting my VC)

What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
It's just a hobby, mom lovingly teases me though

What are some of you other interests?
Video Games, and reading, love me some fluff

Eric in Southern MN reporting. I have picked up some Vampire counts stuff beacuse it is so nicely sculpted and the conversion possibilities are near endless. can't wait to play.

Hey all! Was googling vampire counts and found this place, and it picqued my interest, so here I am!

I'm a 17 year old who's currently unemployed (I am trying on that front) but with now having more time on my hands I'm able to start getting back into the gaming world. I was quite a keen 40k enthuisiast a few years back, and did do quite a bit of collecting, but admittedly was a little too young to truely understand the gaming side of things. Sadly, with increased school committments, my models were put on the shelf (well, the outside toilet to be precise o.o), something I think a few of you will know all too well.

However, having delved into the world of 40k in the past, I've been considering delving into the dark realms of WH fantasy for a while, to start afresh properly. I have a probably unhealthy interest in the macabre, which initially stemmed from some of the classic gothic literature I was, albeit foolishly, encouraged to read by some of my English teachers, and thus Vampire Counts are the obvious option for me. (I nearly strayed into the greenskin camp, but I fell short fortunately!) And today I purchased my VC army book.

I hope to learn a lot about the VC's here, and will try and keep an active log of my progression on here (with pictures. Snazzy eh?). I also look forward to getting to know some of you guys (and gals). And hopefully won't end up crucified for my tendency to type too much or for being a grammar nazi :devil2:

Greetings all you new (and not so new - looking at you DDM) forum-goers. You have come to the right place for whatever reason it is you're here, whether it's getting tactics on how to crush all living things under the armoured (and most likely brittle and boney) heel of your army, role playing or just making friends (or whatever other terms you wish to use. Like slaves. Or victims). Hope you enjoy (or at least are not too traumatised by) your time here.

Edit: Also, double Eric!!! That's cool, purely for the random chance.

Hello ZOMBIES! I am ZombieJoe. I am new to this forum and to Vampire Counts. But I love the undead and hope to see this world torn asunder by the gaping maw of the dead! HORAY!
See you around the forums.

Hello everyone.

I started playing a little bit of WHFB a few years ago with my housemate and friends when I bought a Skull Pass set. Eventually I got sick of calling Goblins "Skeletons" and started to actually collect VC.

That being said... I only have 10 skeles, 10 ghouls, 10 wolves and 1 corpse cart. They've been sitting around with a black primer on them for at least a year, but I started painting them the other day and it's just awoken an OBSESSION in me.

To that end I come, seeking out fellow collectors. To... mingle... you know...

Hi Im Vorizah Vukotic ive been playin VC for about 10 years ive dabbled with most other armies as well but just love my lahmians and Blood Dragons

im a big fan of skeletons and wights and i think they are the best units ever!

I see lotsa new people in this thread and around the forums at large. Welcome one and welcome all! It's great to have your fresh blood coursing through our hallowed place, and remember - here, the dark and creepy stuff are your friends.

If you have any questions about things and doodles, feel free to send your inquiries to either myself or someone else on the resident staff.

Hi I would like to introduce myself. I feel that I know people here as more than passing acquaintances as I have been lurking around here for a while now (June I think), waiting, watching like a true master of the dark arts...

I am fairly new to the Vampire Counts and Warhammer as a whole but have been playing 40K for a year or so now (with my Wolves) but I am currently on a major losing streak mainly due to the dice gods (I mean 20 attacks and 11 one's, c'mon!).

So I have turned to the true masters of the night for their Dark Light of guidance, although I know their will be a price to pay...

Uhhh, hi. I'm Gaeth, and I'm new here.

I'm just getting into Warhammer Fantasy, and Vampire Counts will be my first army. I don't know much about the rules, and I haven't played a game yet, so... orz

I play Craftworld Eldar and Space Marines in 40k.

ANYHOW, nice to be part of this forum, I look forward to chatting with you all.

Hi all I've been lurking around this Forum for a while now, as a 'Stranger', before finally joining earlier today (I wanted to be near completion of my current project before I joined). I'm keen on getting my old VC army back on track and am looking forward to sharing my questionable practice of Necromancy with you all...

Greetings to all-I've been lurking abouts these parts with my friend and compatriot,Count Lasombra, and decided it was time to come in on my own--i am Lasombra's primary opponent, throwing ONG,Woodies and such at the Count to test his VC ways--you will see my stuff on Faces of Next meal, and i will comment on certain items as appropriate--glad to be here,to read, enjoy, and learn.

Welcome one and all. Good to see lurkers getting their act together and talking to us, as well as you newcomers venturing into our dark world.

Any questions or problems, direct them to any of excelent members of staff we have, or if you just want to dive stright into posting, go for it! But be warned, it's a dangerous world out there...

Hi guys,

Besides playing D&D and MMO's like WoW and LOTRO, I had plans last year to pick up Warhammer again, although my job as a musician doesn't allow me much time off. One advantage though is that I work at night and can paint during the day in daylight :D
Because your forum really looks great and members are easygoing from what I lurked (I confess) I decided to join up.

regards and have fun!

Hi

Bergen, I'm 33. In miniatures and games since 1989. Working as graphic designer. Sometimes for games business. I am starting a vampires counts army. So I think it's the best place. To talk about my work on this army and exchange with others freaks.

See you
